The gondola to the Tauplitzalm takes you directly to the Totes Gebirge, and numerous beach volleyball, football, playground and tennis courts guarantee that you won't get bored.

Our campsite is located at the foot of Schönbühel Castle, between Melk and Aggstein on the right bank of the Danube. On an area of around 7,000 m², with beautiful old trees, every camper will find a place to relax and unwind. The campsite is located directly on the Danube cycle path and a comfortable distance from the nearest road. There is a terrace with a winter garden directly on the site for drinks and small meals from Thursday to Sunday. Rooms and apartments offer a spectacular view of the Danube and Schönbühel Castle. Swimming opportunities can be found right on the doorstep - adventure, culture and nature - everyone gets their money's worth here. Schönbühel is the perfect starting point for various excursions and adventures. If you want to end the evening romantically, this is also the right place. The campsite faces west and offers the most beautiful sunsets in the Wachau in the evenings. Your safety is also well taken care of, the flood protection surrounds the campsite and offers our guests maximum safety.

The bathing pond is freely accessible to everyone between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Relaxation area (hammock, deck chairs, etc.) in our small forest is freely available. In the border triangle of the Bavarian Forest, our Camping Resort Bayerwald is being built at 630 m above sea level on the former golf course in Waldkirchen (Dorn). We are currently working at full speed to complete the first construction phase. In doing so, we have set ourselves high goals in order to achieve maximum comfort for you. The course is to receive a 5-star certification upon completion. At the same time, it is our ambition to be in harmony with the surrounding nature and to be considered as exemplary in the field of sustainability throughout Europe.
