Not suitable for larger motorhomes we tried several spaces and even hanging over stuck out of bay. Clearly stated needs to be wholly within a bay so couldn't park over two without risk of a ticket. We are 7.4 meters would say good though for anything 7 meters and under. Very close to town center.

26/5/24. Thanks to the town of Marlborough for providing this facility, it’s rarely the case in England. It’s free after 6pm (4pm on Sunday) then 70p an hour after 8am. Toilets are 20p, we didn’t use them. There is a food van 7 days a week with small generator but he’s gone by 11pm. Quite night. Definitely recommend.

Both payment points were out of order and I didn't want to download yet another app so I went elsewhere. Apart from that it seems like a good spot, well placed in town and I may try again some time.

Excellent car park. Free from 6pm and as Sunday morning parking is free until 10am, we had a nice lie-in. very central as Marlborough High Street is a short 5 mins walk away (via Waitrose). Another bonus is the excellent kebab van on site opposite the police station. Lots of room by the kids playground. Nice and level spaces. We will definitely return.

Public parking. We paid 5,70 Pounds for the night. In the middle of the town. Excellent.

Absolut ruhig und angenehm! Camper o.ä. zahlen über Nacht (am besten mit Coins) stehend ein 5.70£ Ticket, ist 18:00-08:00 gültig, nicht vergessen zusätzlich ausserhalb dieser Zeiten das normale Parkticket an der gleichen Säule holen. Öffentliche Toiletten 20 Pence, super Pubs in der Nähe.

This is a real good place for overnight sleeping. Marlborough is one of my favourite places, went with the van for the first time. I stayed close to the playground. Very near to town and pubs. Had a quiet night, free from 6pm to 8am. Bigger vehicles might have to pay 5,70. Definately a place to come back to!

As a solo senior, I felt very comfortable. The lower part by the meadow and playground is perfect. After one blissful night, paid a full 24hrs... and then again! Yes, stayed three nights/two days and explored. The welcome and smiles encouraged spending. The added bonus for me was the EV charger! This is an example of how van life CAN be!!! Thank you, Marlborough, I was sad to leave.

Easy to find, lots of parking. Parked by the play area as others have said and it was quiet and good easy access to shops etc. toilets if you need them. very level. Good little stop over, reasonable cost for daytime and free overnight

We waren rond 17u aangekomen. Veel jongeren in auto's met luide muziek. We hadden geen goed gevoel bij deze plaats. Toch gebleven en na 21u werd het rustig. Goede nacht gehad. Toiletten in de buurt tegen betaling.

Great location. We arrived on a busy Saturday afternoon and found a space easily. We paid £1.70 for 2 hours parking and then free from 6pm to 10am. Toilets were 20p, very clean. The town is literally a couple of minutes walk, Waitrose supermarket backs onto the car park with decent opening times. Kebab van turned up, was quite busy but not noisy. Will visit again!

Great to be able to stay overnight. Near the playground there is a large corner space and several where you can overhang grass. Paid as a car. £1.70 for 2 hours on day arrived upto 6pm, free overnight then 2 hrs in morning from 8am. MiPermit app to pay. Quiet night 1 other motorhome. Friday night.

Very quiet night in this car park close to centre of Marlborough

Toiletten kosten 0,2£ was grundsätzlich kein Problem wäre. Sehr schade aber, dass man weder mit Karte zahlen kann noch Wechselgeld rausgegeben wird. Wir haben somit 0,5£ für die erste Person versenkt, die zweite, die durch die offene Tür geschlüpft ist, konnte die Tür dann aber nicht mehr abschließen.

Wonderful place even if you have a large camper. Have a good look around and you’ll find a nice and quiet place close to the childrens’ playground. Marlborough is a wonderful place; never expected that.

Took the advice of a previous reviewer and parked near the childrens playground. Out of the way and a delightful place to park. Very handy for exploring the town. Highly recommended

Lovely quiet night here last night. Toilets shut overnight but open 8 am .

This was great, right in the centre. £4.70 for the night (until 8am). There are public loos but these were closed in the morning unfortunately. The tiny police station is in the car park which makes you feel you won't get problems from any vanbashers. A large space to park near the bottom next to children's playground. Can grab shopping if you can afford to go into waitrose :-)

Stayed one night this weekend in a 6m MH. Perfectly placed for the town centre, we backed in so we were overhanging the grass, stayed free as arrived at 6pm Saturday night. There’s a kebab van there 7-11pm but a party from the generator, it’s very quiet, the guys who run it are lovely. Some teens around skateboarding etc but incredibly polite and friendly.

Great stop off quiet, lovely Kebabs paid £4.70 had no problems. Nice walk along the river. Quite level and can overhang the grass..

Stayed 1 night and would recommend. £4.70 overnight to 8am (free on Sunday). Kebab van was open until 1am, very quiet and didn't wake until 7am when the bin lorry came through. Felt secure and toilets available 24/7.

Excellent stop over

Great parking spot for the night. Free on Sundays, charges apply Monday-Saturday 8am-6pm, cheap too. Toilets on car park, 20p. Close to town centre pubs, shops and cafes, just a 5 minute walk. Also a park/stream is adjacent which is handy for dogs and the Police station is nearby so felt secure.

We parked here overnight. Since we had some struggle with our propane gas I had to leave our camper at around 1am and there was a crowd of teenagers/young adults on the playground. It was quiet scary how they looked at me...the next morning we saw we basically parked next to 3 police cars and on the other side of the park is the police station so we felt a bit better.
