Lovely little spot! Very quiet at night with not a lot of traffic. Spent few night here without any issues. Very narrow tho.. wouldn’t recommend the spot to anything bigger than a mid size van.
Parking dans une rue très calme avec seulement le canal avec amarres d'un côté. Aucune restriction ou marquage routier. Il y a un petit pub de village 'Top Lock' au coin. Si vous avez une carte "Canal & River Trust"(eBay), vous pouvez accéder gratuitement aux toilettes, aux douches, à l’eau douce et aux eaux usées.
Parking on a very quiet street with only the canal with moorings on one side. No restrictions or road markings. There is a little village pub 'Top Lock' on the corner. If you have a canal and river trust master key (eBay) then you can access the toilets, showers, fresh water and waste water for free.
Parken in einer sehr ruhigen Straße mit nur dem Kanal mit Liegeplätzen auf einer Seite. Keine Einschränkungen oder Straßenmarkierungen. Es gibt eine kleine Dorfkneipe 'Top Lock' an der Ecke. Nice spot. Mid week not too busy. overlooks the canal and pub nearby. bit of noise and van shake from cars going past

There are other parking spots just a few hundred meters further on. I had a great night's sleep and it would only have been a ten-fifteen minute walk to the pub if I had bothered. Good for dog walking.

Lovely quiet spot over night, only 4* as road quite narrow, suitable for vans but wouldn't recommend for motorhomes due to limited width, lots of dog walkers and cyclists early morning with a few cars passing by. Little pub next to with another 0.5 miles away.

Quite canal side park up. Canal showers etc for members, bins and a water point for drinking water. Road a little busy til later eve and have to be careful exiting the van in the road hence 4 stars.

quiet through the night. busy in the morning with dog walkers. there are toilets and shower on other side of river that ca be used if you have a key. it's quite a small lane with not much room

Brilliant little spot was working nearby and had to travel up from Chesterfield so I bought a Canal and River trust key which allowed me free access to the shower, toilet and facilities. Quiet road lots of dog walkers who were surprised to see me cooking out the back of my car so make sure to get there late.

GertLush11/11/2019Great spot next to the canal. The Top Lock pub is very dog friendly even having a dog menu. Nice log burner and good food. The road is narrow but smaller campers are fine. There's a local well stocked shop in the village with limited opening hours.

Lovely spot and another motorhome was already there. The odd passing car, maybe 6 or 7 between 10pm and 6pm.
