Didn't stay here. Spent the night and day after at the Cahir castle car park. 6£
Parking gratuit en zone résidentielle. Plein de places libres quand on arrive tard. Alternative au parking du château qui est interdit aux vans et camping-cars. Juste en face le parking de l’église était ouvert la nuit.
Free parking in residential area. Lots of free places when we arrive late. Alternative to the parking of the castle which is forbidden to vans and motorhomes. Just opposite the car park of the church was open at night.
Kostenlose Parkplätze im Wohngebiet. Viele freie Plätze, wenn wir spät ankommen. Alternative zum Parkplatz des Schlosses, der für Lieferwagen und Wohnmobile verboten ist. Gleich gegenüber war der Parkplatz der Kirche nachts geöffnet.

PDogg12/09/2025Full when we arrived on a quiet Wednesday night in September and small with tight spaces. The castle carpark nearby is a much better option with no overnight restriction as suggested below.

we're in a 7m motorhome and parked in the castle parking lot with no problem. the sign directs cars and buses to separate areas but it doesn't prohibit motorhomes. there are some parking places where you can overhang the walkway near the recycling center or you can pull through and pay for 2 spaces. we didn't spend the night but there are no signs prohibiting overnight parking.
guntherletransporter19/08/2024parking gratuit près du centre ville. le panneau "no parking, résident only" concerne uniquement la ruelle qui borde les maisons autour du parking. nous y sommes restés une partie de l'après-midi pour visiter le château et nous promener.

Lovely quiet car parking spot at the back of a hotel. It’s in a residential area but very quiet. Short walk to the castle and Main Street. Would recommend!

Arrived at 5pm on the Friday of the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, and other than a couple of postal vans we were the only camper. Beautiful peaceful location beside the river overlooked by the church and with views of Cahir Castle, magical to wake up too. A visit to the castle and walk around the grounds is a must. Only suitable for small campers as mentioned before but felt perfectly safe here.

The residents only sign is for the road only, the car park is free but busy. We stayed and parked perfectly.
journeyfromthemiddle12/05/2023Residents only sign at entry. We parked approx 100m down the road in large fee parks near entry gate to the park. 5 spaces some larger than others.
