Really good place to park, peace and quiet, very little traffic, nice to see the planes at the airport, cleared up some litter left behind, look after it, it's a gem!!

stayed here for two days , a very relaxing day and a very peaceful night had the company of another camper the first night and all to ourselves for the second night , has space for two campers or theres room for a few cars . please leave no trace of rubbish let's keep sites like this accessable to our community .

Great spot! Very quiet at night and in the morning you can enjoy watching the small aircraft and no jets! The spot can fit 2 vans comfortably or 3 at a push.

Used this stop when heading towards York for the weekend. Great little stopover, nice and quiet with views of the airfield, very little traffic which starts about 7am onwards. About 25mins away from York. Easy to find using postcode.

Really nice spot with stunning sunset views. The airport wardens were giving us some funny looks but apart from that very safe and peaceful. No facilities near by.

Perfect little spot for my week staying up here for work. its quite and your left alone. there are no services so you need to be self sufficient. marios pizza and kebab house will deliver to your van tho so that a win.

Had a stopover here after travelling back from Ireland. It was pitch dark. Peaceful nights sleep,but cars tearing passed from 6am on their way to work I guess. Better than paying £27 at the motorway services (Robbing bar stewards).
