Very small back garden parking lots, our 6 meter motorhome struggled. We didn’t even go in the pub just left as we saw the size of parking. Probably good for a van
Parking au pub The Fountain Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et permettent à leurs invités de passer la nuit dans le parking. À l'arrière du parking se trouve un chantier de construction. Il y a deux places de stationnement pour les campeurs. La nourriture était délicieuse, l'atmosphère était chaleureuse et le parking de nuit très calme. Attention: seuls les campeurs jusqu'à 6m.
Parking at the pub The Fountain The owners are super friendly and allow their guests to spend the night in the car park. In the back of the parking lot is a construction site, there are two parking spaces for campers. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and the parking lot at night very quiet. Attention: only campers up to 6m.

Die Inhaber sind super freundlich und erlauben ihren Gästen auch auf dem Parkplatz zu übernachten.
Im hinteren Teil von dem Parkplatz ist eine Baustelle, da sollen 2 Stellplätze für Wohnmobile entstehen.
Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Atmosphäre herzlich und der Parkplatz nachts sehr ruhig.
Achtung: nur Camper bis 6m.
Estacionamiento en The Fountain Pub Los propietarios son muy amables y permiten que sus invitados pasen la noche en el estacionamiento. En la parte trasera del estacionamiento hay un sitio de construcción. Hay dos plazas de aparcamiento para campistas. La comida era deliciosa, el ambiente cálido y el aparcamiento nocturno muy tranquilo. Tenga en cuenta: solo campistas de hasta 6 m.
Parcheggio al The Fountain Pub I proprietari sono molto cordiali e permettono ai loro ospiti di pernottare nel parcheggio. Sul retro del parcheggio c'è un cantiere. Sono disponibili due parcheggi per camper. Il cibo era delizioso, l'atmosfera calda e il parcheggio notturno molto tranquillo. Nota: solo camper fino a 6 m.
Parkeren bij The Fountain Pub De eigenaren zijn erg vriendelijk en laten hun gasten overnachten op de parkeerplaats. Aan de achterzijde van de parkeerplaats bevindt zich een bouwplaats. Er zijn twee parkeerplaatsen voor campers. Het eten was heerlijk, de sfeer warm en de parkeerplaats 's nachts erg stil. Let op: alleen campers tot 6m.

Great stop over!!!! Great pub owner, super friendly, fab selection of beers. We got there too late for food but he did say he could have put some food aside for us which we’ll keep in mind for next time! The carpark can fit a few campers, there were four there including ours. No noise (stayed on a Thursday) and a good nights sleep! What more can you ask for!
wibble6907/08/2025Stayed last night, Less the 10mins for the tunnel. Landlord John is a lovely guy, very welcoming and the locals make you feel at home. Would highly recommend.

Frankelui28/06/2025Tolle Möglichkeit auf dem Parkplatz vor dem Pub zu übernachten! Super nette Wirtsleute, die uns trotzdem die Küche schon geschlossen hatte noch eine Brotzeit zubereitet haben! Auch mit 7 Meter Camper eng, aber möglich! Wir standen hier sogar mit 2 großen Camper! Zur Fähre dann ca 30 Minuten!

Very friendly people. Arrived just on time to eat Sunday roast (food stops 4.30pm on Sunday (in winter, not sure about summer). Pub closes at 8pm on Sunday so very quiet. Very close to beach. As others have said, the entrance to car park is narrow over a little bridge, and the car park is not that big so only small vans. Thank you John (the landlord) for letting me use your parking space.

Lovely new owner, happy for campervans to stop over. No food being served in the evening but Sunday roast (I couldn’t stay for), so I had a choice £20 or spend £20 in the bar. Not a huge car park so smaller campervans suited better, clean loos. 5 min walk to the seafront, shop 10 seconds away. Felt safe, and was quiet. Decent spot, thank you.

Very quiet very nice, not good for big motorhomes. We enjoyed staying at the pub with our kids. The owner is super friendly and tries to help in any way. Nice and and clean toilets. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to stop there again soon.

The Fountain has a new landlord, took over last week and welcomes overnight campervans. Very quiet in the little carpark and we left early to catch our channel tunnel train booking.

Friendly staff who welcomed us into their car park and pub - however, Friday night was very unpleasant, perhaps we were unlucky, but a car pulled up next to us and became the ‘go to’ for snorting cocaine in between pints in the pub. Our van got bashed into by doors opening several times, before we had had enough and left at 11:30pm to find somewhere safer. Would not return.

what a great place. phoned ahead late on a Sunday to see if we could eat and stay overnight. only question they asked is "How big is your motor home" as the car park isn't large. when we arrived, we had a fabulous Sunday roast waiting for us, 6pm on a Sunday, who knew....Great pub, great people. Will visit again.

Also! Das ist ein ganz kleiner Parkplatz. Bin zwar mit meinem 7.0 Meter Camper reingekommen, allerdings nur weil grad einige Autos weggefahren sind. Alles sehr eng. Es handelt sich auch nicht um ein klassisches Pub, sondern eher um einen Jugendtreff mit Livemusik und Barfood! Der Barkeeper war ausgesprochen nett und zuvorkommend! Eher was fürn VW Bus. Die Bands waren toll!

Wer auf einen unfreundlich pöbelnden Kneiper Lust hat, kann sich hier gern kurz ein paar abweisende Worte anhören, um dann direkt schlecht gelaunt nach einer neuen Übernachtungsmöglichkeit zu suchen. Wenn wir könnten, hätten wir Minuspunkte vergeben. Nicht weiter zu empfehlen.

The owner was very accommodating but he did mention calling ahead. It’s a nice spot and very quiet.
