Parking très bien, sécurisé et pas cher pour visiter Edinburg en toute tranquillité ! Nous avons passé 2 nuits sans problèmes. Le seul bémol mais en connaissance de cause : le bruit du train qui est assez présent dès le matin tôt ! Mais 10/12 min de train pour aller dans le centre ville d’Edinburg ! (Environ 9 Livres pour 2 aller retour ! )

Great place to sleep and very convenient to get to Edinburgh city centre using the train, the journey is less than 15min. We paid the overnight parking through the app and it was only £0.75!!please don’t leave rubbish behind

Excellent choix pour Edimbourg. Facile d'accès, 50 pence par jour (payez à la machine plutôt que l'application), parking plat, un bon restaurant en face. Nuit tranquille, mais il y a un train qui passe tous les quarts d'heure à partir de 6h du matin... et ce sont des trains diesel qui font beaucoup de bruit quand ils quittent la gare. A/R vers Edimbourg en 13 minutes pour 4,20 £.

Parked and went into the city for the day stayed the night although traffic noise is present it’s decently quiet and 90p per day is amazing

Ideale plek om te staan/overnachten. Geen service erbij maar je betaald maar 0,50p voor een hele dag(+ nacht) De parkeerplaats zit aan de treinverbinding naar het centrum. Wij hebben er een zeer rustige nacht verbleven. Ook ideaal voor grotere campers (die van ons is 7,5m lang) Samen met ons stonden er nog ongeveer 6 andere campers :)

Aparcamiento muy cómodo y tranquilo apto para autocaravanas donde se puede pernoctar sin problemas. Junto a la estación de tren que lleva a Edinburgo en 15 min (no circula los domingos) y a 300 metros de la parada de autobús. Suelo plano y pavimentado. Justo cruzando la carretera hay un pub estupendo donde comer o tomar unas cervezas.

We stayed 2 nights here (overnight allowed if under 3.5t) and took the train into Edinburgh. Excellent value parking 50p for 24 hours 85p on app, although 24 hours ends midnight. Also Sunday morning boots fair almost set up around us. Reasonably quiet at night. Pub across the main road.

Das einzige was an diesem Platz nicht so toll ist, ist der Preis. Wir haben aber super ruhig gestanden und die Duschen waren OK! In diesem Bereich sind die Preise überall hoch

Höhenbeschränkung vorhanden, an die sich keiner hält. Man kann einfach bei der Ausfahrt reinfahren. Es waren etwa 20 Wohnmobile da, die nicht durchgepasst hätten. Manche holen Tische und Stühle raus. So wird der Platz sicher bald für Camper ganz gesperrt.

Stayed here so I could join in with the Fringe. Last train reasonably late, even on a Sunday. Really convenient spot, nice and quiet, very cheap. There are no bins or facilities. But there’s a shopping park a two minute walk that has bins and a McDonald’s ;) there were quite a few vans about and sadly a small amount of rubbish.

Another great few nights here along with 25+ other vans and a few car campers. it's a car park but don't let that put you off - at 50p per 24 hours it must be the cheapest stay over anywhere ! .. as mentioned there is now a barrier on the entrance so vans go in via the exit. Sadly this visit we did witness vanners using the bushes as a toilet & one van emptied their grey tank on the car park :-(

Très pratique pour visiter Edimbourg ! Grand parking sans charme mais plus calme que prévu de nuit, très peu cher et surtout quasi sur le quai de la gare qui mène au Centre ville en 10 minutes. Attention, très peu de trains le dimanche voire pas du tout. Mais il ya un bus un peu plus lent la sortie du parking.

There is height limitation at the entrance, therefore, as many other vans and motorhomes, we had to drive through one way marked exit from parking lot.

Super Platz vor/ nach Besichtigung Edinburghs. Zug fährt 11 min. Waren vor 2 Wochen hier, alles super. Jetzt wieder - inzwischen Höhenschranke!!!! Noch kann man über Ausfahrt rein und das machen einige (ca 10 pro Nacht) und keiner kontrolliert. Kann sich aber noch ändern. Schade!! Ist mehr als genug Platz für die paar Camper und die vielen Pendler. Nachts sehr laut, liegt direkt an der Autobahn.

Important to respect places like these in times where it's getting harder to find motorhome park ups. If your motorhome doesn't have toilet facilities this place is not for you. Do not go to the bushes to go to the toilet. A bit worried about the height barrier that is now closed. I fear it's just a matter of time before van entry is prohibited.

Wir haben an diesem Platz zwei Nächte ohne Probleme verbracht. Der Parkplatz ist riesig und man stört niemanden. Wir konnten bei Ankunft über Ringo für die gesamte Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes bezahlen. Am Sonntag fährt der Zug nur jede Stunde.

No facilities but great place to access Edinburgh by train. Just 12 minutes train ride. Lots of flat space to choose from. Standard Greene King Cuddle Brae pub and restaurant just across the road.

best spot for exploring Edinburgh. spent a few nights here and then came back again for one last stop after a trip round Skye and the Highlands. 50p per 24h parking. Train is two stops, 11 minutes into Edinburgh Waverly that runs late and starts early. (£4.30 off peak, £5.40 peak) Only downside is traffic/rail noise but it didn't bother us at all. Asda Superstore just up the road too.

Nutzten den Platz über Nacht bevor wir früh morgens dann nach Edinburgh hinein gefahren sind. War abends schnell zu erreichen von der Autobahn. Sehr preiswert und gut gelegen. Jedoch waren beim Einschlafen noch einige laute Güterzüge zu hören und es war sehr hell beleuchtet.

50p for 24hrs! We stayed here for one night on route to the NC500 and to visit Edinburgh. Trains do run hourly/ (bi-hourly later in the day), on a Sunday. There were 3 fellow camper vans staying with no issues at all! Very quiet nights sleep. Freight trains do commence at 05:50, but for 50p who can complain! We have a ‘Two Together’ railcard, train cost £6 return for 2a into Edinburgh. Bargain!

Ottima sistemazione per visitare Edimburgo. È un parcheggio senza nessun servizio ma molto illuminato e sorvegliato da telecamere, di notte molte auto e camper parcheggiati. È del gruppo Park and ride alla fermata del treno (bisogna scaricarsi orario) che in 2 fermate porta in centro. Eccezionale per evitare problemi di parcheggio. Costa 50 cent per 24ore!

Handige en goedkope plek als je Edinburgh wilt bezoeken. Wij betaalden de 50 pence met een kaart, contant is ook mogelijk. We gingen met de bus, half uur rijden voor 2 £ pp de stad in, instappen bij het winkelcentrum omdat de bushalte bij de pp tijdelijk opgeheven is. Het is niet de gezelligste plek om te staan maar je slaapt rustig.

Great place to stop, we were here last night for 1 night along with 20 other vans, height restriction not operational at the moment, nice and quiet, (Sunday morning so only freight trains running) no facilities or waste bins - paid the 50p for yesterday and another for today via ring go, note parking sesssions are from midnight to midnight each day. Off to Edinburgh for the day now on the bus.

Just stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting Edinburgh - you really can't go wrong with this one ! There were at least 10 other vans here each night as well. We simply parked up, paid via the RingGo app (apparently you can't pay for several days in one go via the onsite machines) then left the van in situ and used the train to commute the 15 mins daily to Waverley station.

50 pounds pro Tag, günstiger geht es nicht. wir standen sehr ruhig, die Straßen hörte man nicht. man kann in die Stadt mit dem Zug, bzw. mit dem Bus fahren. Alles per App möglich, auch das Bezahlen auf dem Parkplatz ist per App möglich. wir würden uns wieder hier her stellen.

Eigentlich ein super Parkplatz für eine Stadtbesichtigung von Edinburgh. 50p für 24 Stunden. Etwas Zuglärm aber nicht zu laut. Wir standen 2 Tage. Leider sind wir am zweiten Tag am Wohnmobil angekommen und unsere Befestigung der Plane von den Fahrrädern wurde durchgeschnitten. Wahrscheinlich wollte sie jemand klauen (trotz Kamera), aber hatte kein Erfolg durch die Schlösser! Also aufpassen!

Flat car park at the train station. Loads of CCTV cameras and very well lit. The trains seem to run until around midnight, but I could hardly hear them. There were about 8 campers when we stayed. We awoke on the Sunday morning to see a car boot sale in the part of the car park closest to the main road.

Parked up on a Sunday morning and caught the train into Edinburgh (hourly service on Sunday). 75 pence for the remainder of the day but paid £1.25 to take us until the end of Monday. Train takes 10 minutes straight into the city centre. Stopped overnight Sunday, slight road noise from the main road and a few trains passing. Level ground and plenty of space, felt safe overnight. Good EE reception

Really cheap! 50p for a day, if you arrive at night and are staying to the next day you have to pay for 2 days as it refreshes at midnight. Great connections into Edinburgh city centre, trains run regularly and every hour on Sundays. Felt very safe!

Eigentlich finden wir diesen Parkplatz mega, waren mehrfach hier, weil Anbindung und Preis super ist! Aber, als wir heut Abend zurück kamen, gerad im Auto gesessen, haben wir bemerkt wie zwei maskierte auf einem e Moped mehrfach unser Auto umkreisten und immer wieder reingeleuchtet haben! Wir sind dann gefahren, sie haben noch was ans Auto geworfen! Haben die Polizei informiert!

Guter Parkplatz um Edinburgh zu erreichen. Wir sind eine Nacht geblieben und haben uns sehr sicher gefühlt. Auch Busse fahren den Parkplatz an. Allerdings keine Toiletten und auch keine Mülleimer. Also den eigenen Müll wieder mitnehmen. Der Parkplatz ist außerdem von einem Stacheldrahtzaun umgeben.

Für den Zweck, Park and ride, sehr gut. Zug fährt alle halbe Stunde. Nur 50 Pence pro Nacht. Kleiner Laden in kurze Distanz. Autos und Züge leicht hörbar, war für uns aber kein Problem. Blieben 2 Nächte zwecks Besuch in Edinburgh

Definitely recommend for visiting Edinburgh if you don’t need services! Train every 30 minutes takes just 10 minutes to Waverley, with ticket machine at the stop, about £3.80 return. Trains are only every hour in the evening though. Lots of vans, felt safe & very quiet. Perfect.

Huge car park and lots of other campers so felt safe. Pub across the road, large retail park 10 minutes away and trains are very convenient to Edinburgh. Walkable to Portobello too. Noise was minimal and did not disturb. A great spot to stay for several nights.

Im 10 Min Takt fährt der Zug direkt hin und zurück nach Edinburgh(Waverley) für 6,20£ pro Person. Am Wochenende im 30 Minuten Rhythmus. In 2,5 km existiert eine Entsorgungsstelle incl Wasser für 10£

Was will man mehr... 24 Stunden parken, übernachten erlaubt, auch für große Womos, unmittelbar an der Bahnstation nach Edinburgh (fährt jede halbe Stunde und braucht 15-20 Minuten) für unglaublich günstige 0,50 Pfund. Ja, Straße und Bahn auch nachts etwas laut. Für uns war das kein Problem. Tickets für Bahn per App oder am Automaten, 2 Personen hin und zurück 7,80 Pfund.

La mejor opción para visitar Edimburgo. Es el aparcamiento de la estación de tren, así que está muy bien comunicado con el centro de la ciudad, solo dos paradas. El billete i/v 3'80 £. No hay problema con pasar la noche. Se escuchan trenes pasar hasta tarde, por lo demás, muy tranquilo. Hemos repetido este aparcamiento dos veces. Una a la ida y otra a la vuelta de las Highlands.

One ticket machine didn’t work, the other did but for 50p it printed me a ticket with the the same expiry date as the time/date that I purchased it? so it had already expired? Road noise can be heard but it isn’t too loud over the back. Also next to train station. Level car park. Didn’t find anywhere nearby to walk the dog. Good 4G on EE.

Nothing fancy, just an carpark. Lots of rubbish around, quite some noise from the railway and highway. However it’s a good spot to go to downtown by train for just a few pounds within 15 minutes.

This spot was a life saver for me after catching a cold in Edinburgh. Cheap and unbothered by anyone, could hole up here until I got better. Easy train into the city. However, make sure to pay attention to the bay markings, as I came back once to see a large bus home blocking half of the driving lane. This is the type of thing that gets carparks closed for overnighters!

Great for an overnight stay if you're visiting Edinburgh, bus stop nearby and the number 30 bus takes you to the centre of town for £4 return. its right next to a large shopping complex and its only 50p a night to park, lots and lots of spaces, and i felt safe as its well lit, i would come back if I'm in the area.

Very quiet Saturday night sleep, we felt really safe and there is lots of space in the car park. We paid 1.25£ for one night (app charges a daily rate until midnight and then another day for after midnight). A good pub next door and big shopping centre down the road for toilets and food. Would recommend and definitely coming back.

Not much privacy, but otherwise a nice, safe spot. We left the car there one night while we were in Edinburgh, then slept one night in the car park before moving on. Train tickets to Edinburgh cost £3, or £3.60 for a day ticket. There's a pub across the road which kindly let us use their toilets.

sehr günstiger Parkplatz. man kann auch mit Karte bezahlen. auf dem Parkplatz liegt viel Müll herum. 3,60 Pfund für hin- und rückfahrtticket mit dem Zug bezahlt. der Zug fährt nur 1x die stunde (ca. 15 min Fahrtzeit). das hatte ich bei der Hinfahrt nicht bemerkt und ist mir erst bei der Rückfahrt aufgefallen. checkt daher die Abfahrtszeiten rechtzeitig.

Decent place for a stopover, especially if you’re visiting the city. Lots of space, well lit and CCTV. 50p to park up. Woke up to a freight train around 6:30/7 but apart from that it wasn’t too loud, more of background noise with the station and the A1.

Does exactly what it says on the tin! No frills, expansive parking just off the A1 with regular train services to Waverley. Great value at 50p/24 hrs. Well lit with surveillance cameras. Good nights sleep despite close proximity of road/rail. Will definitely return.

Amplio estacionamiento sin restricciones de altura, se agradece que exista un park and ride como este. Pasamos la noche sin ningún problema. ten en cuenta que se encuentra aun lado de la autopista por lo que es un lugar muy ruidoso, hay muchísima basura al rededor del estacionamiento, pero cumplió con el objetivo que era visitar Edimburgo y el precio es sumamente accesible

Hallo, mir wäre daran gelegen wenn es in jeder größeren Stadt solch einen P+R geben würde - hat etwas wenig Infrastruktur doch dafür ist die Anbindung an die große Stadt mit gerade mal 2 Haltestellen mit dem Zug ideal - fährt auch Sonntags - e‘burgh schön interessant doch in Zeiten Festival ganz schön vermüllt - dich gerne mal wieder

24 h für 50p ist ein sehr günstiger Preis allerdings ist es sehr hell hier und man hört die auto bahn einwenig aber ansonsten ist es kein problem

We think this place is brilliant value. At 50p for 24 hours what more do you need? The train link into Edinburgh & bus stop just outside are very convenient. I was just very disappointed to see that at least 2 vans emptied in the car park. This is what gives us motorhomers a bad name. There are lots of big drains available that could be used if absolutely necessary. Rant over.

Super Parkplatz, für EDB Stadt Besichtigung! Ist zwar nachts etwa lauter von der Autobahn her, aber direkt an der Bahn gelegen unschlagbar! Vllt nicht direkt unter einem Strahler parken und ohrenstöpsel mitnehmen :) haben zwei Nächte hier verbracht! Ohne Probleme

Great price - 50p. Was quiet in the large parking lot. We had children and found the short walk to the pub quite nice for drinks and snacks. The trains ran till 1130 and started again around 630. There were about 3 freight trains in the night. Felt safe and was next to a firestation. Stayed for 1 night. Cost £3.50 return to Edinburgh and a weekend rate of £1.

Top place to park up to head into Edinburgh. 50p for 24 hours ( although we saw people not even bothering to do that) and very quiet at night. I was able to work all day in the van in this location in peace, whilst my family easily got the train into central Edinburgh. Not scenic but completely practical and quiet.

Nous y sommes restés 2 nuits. Grand parking avec caméras, très bien, il permet de rejoindre la capitale en 10 mn, (nous avons payé 3,40 £ par adultes et 1,7 £ par enfant (jusqu'à 16 ans). Pour le train qui passe toutes les 30 mn environ), par contre? notre carte n'a fonctionné qu'avec le sans contact !

Für eine Nacht war der Parkplatz ok. 24 Stunden kosten nur 50 Pence. Sehr gute Zugverbindung nach Edinburgh, Fahrzeit 11 Minuten, 3,40 Pfund für Hin- und Rückfahrt. Gestört hat lediglich der Lärm der Autobahn und die 6 dort aufgestellten Wohnwagen, welche die ganze Zeit Stromagregatte laufen hatten.

Perfekt zum besichtigen von Edinburgh. Der Zug fährt 11 Minuten und der Parkplatz ist riesig und überwacht. wir blieben nicht über Nacht, da es sehr unruhig aussah. Man muss nicht wir fahren, um ruhig zu stehen.

Stayed first night in Edinburgh in caravan park to recharge, refill water and wash, then stayed 1 night here. Just a car park, but there were 4 caravans that looked permanent and felt safe. Paid the 50c overnight parking fee, but doubt if ever checked. Train to Edinburgh 2 stops and 3.20 return, runs Sundays. Didn’t use it but there is pub and shop centre nearby. Stayed June 2019.

Easy spot to park for trip into Edinburgh, train is quick and reasonably cheap. No amenities so only suitable for self contained overnight, some light road noise from motorway but overall easy and convenient place to sleep.

Très bien pour visiter Edinburg, train à côté en 12 minutes centre ville. 0.50 png par jour. Nous y sommes restés 3 nuits. On entend le train mais on ne peut pas tout avoir. Pas de service, ni poubelle.

The premiere inn opposite has a beautiful pub garden at the front with a double plug on outside wall of pub. Great find for our charging. the parking is free and it's a really pretty pub. sitting here in the sun sipping a beer charging things :)

Ottimo parcheggio per visitare Edimburgo, video sorvegliata, in 12 minuti col treno si è in centro città.

Grand parking? parfait pour la visite d'Edimbourg. 1 £ pour deux nuits. Prévoir de la monnaie. Train toutes les demi-heures pour Edimbourg à 11 mn. Attention les distributeurs de tickets de train n'acceptent que la carte bleue. (si ça passe). Aucun service. Nuits calmes.

Merci pour ce bon plan, prix imbattable à 50 pence les 24 heures. Bus et train à proximité. Shopping Center. Bonus: vide grenier (car boot sale) le dernier dimanche matin du mois.

Nous y avons passé deux jours et deux nuit. Facture : 1 £ ! Un grand complexe commercial à 500 m du shopping en passant par les restaurants et grande distribution. Le parking est clôturé, éclairé jusqu’à minuit trente, et sous vidéo surveillance. Le train juste à côté vous prendra 15 mn pour rejoindre Edimburg (station Newcraighall) pour 3.30 £ aller/retour par personne. (Sur l’écran pour prendre le billet choisir « Edimburg » pour sélectionner la gare Waverlay en plein centre. Un contrôleur vérifiera le billet, il n’y a rien à composter). Cela reste un parking, c’est assez bruyant, mais vu les circonstances, situation imbattable !

Prix imbattable n: 0,50 £ par jour ! A deux pas de l'accès au train qui mène au centre d'Edimbourg en 15 mn. Calme, plat, goudronné, que du positif. Nous y sommes restés 2 nuits sans frais à part le prix du ticket de train.

Aux porte d'Edimbourg que ce soit par le train ou le bus (au pied du parking) ou à 25 mn en vélo du centre ville. C'est le lieu idéal pour faire une halte de 24h. 0.50 £/24h à payer à la borne (prévoir la monnaie) ou en CB. Parking calme en dehors des avions en journées et du bruit incessant de la Speedway à côté (avec les bouchons d'oreilles ça passe bien).

Excellent emplacement pour visiter Edimbourg. Train à quelques secondes, une seule station et une quinzaine de minutes pour se rendre à la gare centrale (4 £ aller et retour). Prix du parking : 0,5 pounds pour la journée. Super plan donc.

Le top pour visiter Edimbourg. 0,5 £/24h. L'accès au train se fait directement depuis le parking : 3,20 £/aller et retour pour être au centre ville en quelques minutes. Un train toutes les 30 minutes en semaine, toutes les heures le dimanche. 3 nuits sans problème.

Bon plan. Prix du trajet en bus est de £1.60 (ligne 30). Se munir de la somme exacte en pièces.

Bonjour, merci pour l'adresse. Idéal pour dormir et service ferroviaire à côté, très bien pour aller dans le centre-ville.

Parfait pour visiter Edinburgh nous sommes restés 2nuits aucun problème. Dommage que le dernier train pour y rentrer "23h55" soit aussi tôt surtout pendant le fringe.
