(ML12 6SD) Abington - 93 Carlisle Road

Quiet carpark, just parked in normal bay in 5.4m van, undisturbed night and off at 5am to carry on north.

Good little last minute over night stay, signs up saying max 2 hours parking but other cars parked over night also. not very big for motorhomes but the non-parking bays at the back worked well with still enough room for car drivers. Car charging points and bins available. Nice handy local shop also. Children loved the real red phone box. shall use again.

Stayed here 9pm to 8am on a Tuesday night in November. No other vans but 6 cars were here all night. Very quiet and undisturbed

arrived around 10pm, left at 730am, no noise, fair amount of space, shop nearby. 3 or 4 other vans there overnight

Good for one night. Handy stop just off the motorway. Not very good for a long van as bays short. Not much around only a shop that closed quite early. Good phone signal on EE

Prima plek op doorreis, maar voor de wat grotere campers, wij zijn 7,5 mtr is het erg krap. De pub in het dorp lijkt definitief gesloten. Mooie wandeling met de hond langs de rivier. Op de achtergrond steeds het geluid van de snelweg.

Used this as a late night stopover while travelling as was getting too tired to continue the drive. Was peaceful. Very useful!

A good overnight stopover on our way further north. Quiet car park with a pleasant walk to the river a short distance away. Several cars come here to recharge and then move on. Very quiet. There is a bin but no other facilities. The village shop is a few hundred yards away if you need basic supplies.

Very nice spot. The parking bays aren't meant for camper vans, but there are some non-parking bays which were good for overnight use. We arrived at 10pm,left at 7am after a nice, quiet night

Stayed for one night, had a sign up saying 2 hours max stay but plenty of other cars were parked here all night. Free parking and street lights so feels safe.

Cracking little stop over. Arrived at 23:30, left by 08:30. Quiet and felt safe.

Perfect place to stay if you're looking to break up a long journey. Really close to the motorway and there's a services at the motorway junction to get yourself sorted to continue your journey. Bit of noise late evening, with people going home from the pub, but that's to be expected when you're parked up in the middle of a village. Sat Nav brought me off on 14, but best to use 13

There was a dog barking continesle from 6am so I personally stay there again,

Great place, I highly recommend it, peace and quiet sometimes someone passes by, a nice little river nearby

A nice little carpark, quiet and 5min from the Motorway N/S. Can not be flat in some places. A lovely place perfect for the night !

A quiet spot within a few mins of the M’way. Shop nearby and an short walk down to the Clyde for a scenic leg stretch. Fine for a stop over on the way N or S
