Stayed over on a Saturday in October. Roads were quiet, few other campervans around but plenty of space between us all. Nearby stream offers a little white noise but plenty of spaces away from stream if you'd prefer. Small mobile cafe 'langdon grill' arrived early hours so a nice sausage sandwich and brew to start the day. Good little walks nearby too

Stayed the night. Really peaceful, hardly any passing traffic during the night. We were the only ones here. Some nice walking paths right next to the park up. Dogs need to be kept on leads as there are ground nesting birds and lots of sheep around. There are a few bins here, no services. No signal on o2 and good signal on EE.

Nice and quiet and very nice views surrounding langdon brook, took bikes, lovely and peacefull. People coming and going all the time. Will return

As per previous comments, I had a very poor mobile signal. No camping allowed on the grassy areas so be discreet. Excellent dog walk along the United Utilities access road.

one of my favourite places, cars going past but don't bother me, no camping in the fenced off areas so carpark is fine, good EE 4g

Nice, peaceful area. Some traffic but doesn't bother you too much. Be careful of the 'No camping' signs dotted about. No internet. Will return.

Had a good nights sleep here. You do get cars going past with it being so close to the road but the walk in the morning aoong the river more than made up for it.

Lovely park up b the small river. Great for dog walking. We took the dog here at bonfire weekend to get away from fireworks. It was very wet and windy but peaceful nonetheless. The food van is great. Local produce, very tasty and reasonably priced.

Beautiful spot, nice, easy walk down the adjacent drive and up the river valley. Not quite as quiet as other campers found it : midweek in mid September 2021, cars passing every 15 minutes or so until 2am, a couple of them were going fast enough to shake the van.

Very quiet & peaceful stop. Sad we didn't stay long.

Nice and quiet, secluded, and a very nice view surrounding

Very peaceful, stream running alongside. No traffic after 9pm. Bins provided but no phone signal. Perfect!

Favourite park up in the UK so far. Very peaceful during the week - a few hikers come late morning and in the afternoon. Lovely little stream and big stones to sit on and eat a picnic. Dog loved it too, lots to explore. Lovely hike up the hills as well.

beautiful location, plenty of birds, and glorious countryside.

Our favourite wild camping spot in the UK so far. Beautiful babbling brook and wonderful walks. We stayed 2 nights with no issues and we're alone until early walkers came the next morning (it was a weekday). More cars use this road than you would expect and do drive quite fast but after dark you are basically alone.

There were three other vans and a car overnighted here when I stayed so clearly becoming a popular spot. More traffic on the road than you would expect but quiet after 11pm. No tv signal, but good signal on EE. If staying here it's well worth a walk up Langden Valley.

Brilliant spot - woke up to the sound of the stream and the sheep. Mobile phone signal on 3 network. Free to park and plenty of space, with a mix of cars and campervans. Didn’t see any signs saying no camping/no overnight stays, so maybe the previous commenter was a little further along? Bins for rubbish. Just off the road, but road relatively quiet and almost unused overnight, meaning a lovely night’s sleep. Butty van was there when we stayed.

Good for Quik stop Side of the road you might see some coffee place as well

Stunning location, there are plenty of places to stop along this road . we stayed 1 night here, lovely and quiet but I could imagine it gets busy in summer. there was also a butty van parked there .

Nice & quiet spot, not much passing traffic. Some Mobile signal

Good spot, great walking. a bit to close to the road, but no trouble and two other vans parked up for the night too. we parked under trees, (rooky mistake), but we are new to this, it was wet and windy, so noisy.

Lovely place hardly any traffic. extremely quiet and peaceful. loads of parking spots around this area strongly recommend it. parked by sign that said no camping but when warden came at around 11pm to lock gate over bridge nothing was said. signs saying no fires as well so probably have more of a problem with that. very tidy and we left no trace, like we had never been.

Great spot for kids. Flat with a little stream. Nice takeaway van here in the morning for hot drinks etc. A popular stop for cyclists.
