Wunderschöne Aussicht und fast schon unheimlich ruhiger Platz. Über Nacht sind am Wochenende maximal 5 Autos vorbei gefahren. Müll sah ich wenig bis gar keinen wie in anderen Bewertungen gesehen. Keine Mülltonne, keine Toilette, guter Handyempfang. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Great view and also somewhat sheltered from the wind, which is hard to find. Great place. Bring your rubbish with you!

five star the views one the place there are bottles and used tissues in the bushes not used for blowing your nose on. it's such a shame move! I move on.

Quiet spot with excellent views, fairly quiet with occasional passing cars. Level parking, wet in places, and a fair amount of rubbish left by others. occasional locals arrived to take photos of the sunset, otherwise very quiet. we stayed here to visit RSPB Geltsdale about 10 mins drive away. Will definitely stay again

So nice. Peaceful day and night (some car) but mainly so quiet. Normal (not best) phone signal. I love it. Yes definitely need to come back. Please keep your rubbish with you at all time. Thank you.

stayed on way down to Wales beautiful views fairly level ground, get the odd car pulling up for a pic of the view but other than that ur pretty quiet

This spot has gorgeous views and lovely and quiet. Like lots of place, the roads to the parking spot are narrow. Just take care as locals know the roads well so tend to drive a little faster round the corners. Would definitely recommend!

Small flat gravel car park with beautiful views down to Talkin Tarn lake. Very peaceful and quiet. No road noise overnight . A few locals came to admire the view otherwise alone. A few waterlogged potholes when we stayed that affected where to park . Nice circular walks down to lake and Brampton. And no bins otherwise perfect spot .

Charmant petit spot avec vue très dégagée. Abrité du vent grâce aux arbres. Quelques locaux qui s'arrêtent en soirée pour regarder le magnifique coucher de soleil. Dommage pour les déchets abandonnés.. Sinon très calme.

Beuatiful spot, sunset was fantastic, few people coming and going in cars to see the sun set. However was ruined by 1 group of small minded people in a old style silver fiesta, made us a bit on edge after they threw a potatoe at our van!! Always the very few that ruin it!!

great little corner to stop over for the night, probably accommodate 3 to 4 campers. Ground was a little waterlogged with all the rain, but not a problem, nice and flat, with great views. Not a sound overnight, cannot fault it. 4G coverage on O2 and EE

A brief stopover in between campsites. Windy roads to get here but worth it for the view. Great quiet spot although there’s evidence it’s used at night by others as quite a lot of rubbish lying around.

stopped there last night it's a gem of a stopover us and a vw there, a few people turned up to watch the sunset but went around 9.30ish had a great nights sleep views are amazing plus peace and quite would recommend

Arrived at midnight, 2 other vans but plenty of space, woke up around 9, no disturbance. Cracking view of the tarn, did a litter pick as a bit of rubbish about, fast food wrappers so doubtful it was left by other campers.

Super endroit calme avec vues magnifiques, pas de voisins excepté les moutons, les oiseaux et un lièvre. Nous y avons passé la nuit, seuls, aucun bruit de circulation la nuit. Route d'accès étroite, aisée pour van et fourgon, plus compliquée pour grands véhicules. Pas de service, pas de poubelle, et nous avons emporté les déchets trouvés sur place à notre arrivée.

wunderschöner und ruhiger Platz. Tagsüber etwas Verkehr, Nachts komplett ruhig. Eben, ausblick übers Land und auf eine Schafswiese.Abends kamen ein paar Jugendliche, die aber nach einer halben Stunde wieder gefahren sind und sich recht gesittet benommen haben. Außer das sie ihren Müll da gelassen haben. Den haben wir dann mitgenommen.

Stayed 16 08 2021. Superb location, stunning views, drive carefully if you have a twin axle as narrow entrance through Talkin hamlet.

There's a place to make a fire, your neighbours are sheep and the views are stunning. A proper little gem of a stop over!

Very quite during the night, I arrived late with one van already parked up. Great view to wake up to.

Great find! Stunning views. Only van last night but a car joined for about half an hour sat with his engine running, was gone by 11 thankfully. There was a ton of rubbish when I got here so please let's keep this spot clean so we can keep using it! Currently doing the Northumberland 250 route and its only about 8 miles off plan but worth it for a quiet night. Would definitely use again if nearby.

Started off great. 3 cars of boy racers arrived, blasting music very loud. Must be a popular boy racer spot, shame and a waste of a great spot.

We stopped here for lunch but it would be a wonderful night stop. Space for several vans. Fairly flat. Amazing views. The roads to get here are steep, narrow and twisty but we were fine in 6m van. Very little traffic.
