Nice quiet stop before catching a ferry the next day, 50 mins to Dover, nice small contained field directly behind the pubs beer garden with a hedge seperatimg them and all around the field, arrived late on a Friday they stop serving food at 2030 but i have seen it mentioned you can pre order, had a few rounds of drinks else it is £16 or so per night, nice pub, setting, beer garden and staff.

Great place to stay before or after channel tunnel. Lovely country pub in a quiet area. We had a delicious Sunday lunch and stayed the night for free in the field at the back. Only one other van there and looking out onto countryside. Very quiet.

Der Platz ist recht eben, mit einer dichten Hecken vom Biergarten geschützt und auch von der Straße nicht einsehbar. Konsumiert man Getränke oder Speisen kann man auch gratis hier stehen.

Great find, stayed one night. We had a meal and a drink in the pub and they were happy for us to stay overnight. Excellent food. We were the only campervan in a large, flat field. Very quiet night. Highly recommended.

Love this place we always stop here on route to the tunnel and Europe . Lovely field , quiet and free. Just go in pub for a drink or a meal .

Great place to stop over just off M20. Friendly staff, great beer and food. Quiet location.

we booked and stayed one night, we had a 7mtr motorhome with a car trailer behind so called to see if they could accommodate us and there was no problem. We booked a table in the restaurant and they didn't charge for the the stay. The food was very good and sensibly priced. The owner and staff are very friendly. Very little noise through the night. We would definitely stay again. .

We hat a really nice evening here. Liveband on Saturdays over the summer, great food and beer and a quite night on the meadow behind.

Tout parfait et sympa…et on mange bien

Un super endroit au calme un très grand parking mais les intégraux ne pourront pas rentrés avec la largueur je mettrai une photo de la porte si je peux. Le personnel est super sympa et on mange bien mais soyez respectueux du lieu et aller leur demander si vous pouvez vous garer ils sont déjà sympa d offrir une place.

We parked at the side of the car park - level and quiet. Food and beers were tremendous!

a great stop for the Channel Tunnel. staff super friendly and the food was amazing, we all had the pie! huge portions with extra gravy, yum. couldn't resist the apple pie and custard for pudding! we will definitely be back.

Great food in the pub. we came on pie and a pint Thursday £16.95. Warm and welcoming pub on a really soggy evening in Feb half term. Nice flat quiet car park. Any grassy areas are a no go zone at the moment due to weather. Highly recommended.

Can’t add any more info than the link there reviews but I will reiterate what a lovely stop this is! Huge quiet camping field at the back. Super food (and reasonable!) lovely staff. Will definitely be back and highly recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Es un lugar estupendo para pasar la noche cerca del Eurotúnel. El personal es muy amable, la comida está rica y es el pub más económico que hemos encontrado en nuestro viaje. Tienen una gran explanada para aparcar autocaravanas de todo tipo de medidas. Súper recomendando

Stayed here for 1 night before getting the Eurotunnel in the morning. Good access and very flat and peaceful. Takes around 20 minutes to drive to the Eurotunnel. Perfect!

Stayed here a few times…hoping to stay tomorrow night too. Nice and quiet, lovely food and great staff.

Super leuke pub ,heerlijk gegeten en we mochten ook overnachten met onze mooie Camper vergeet het dessert niet verrukkelijk .

Staff is super friendly and food is also great. We were all alone in the parking in the back and had a great night and a very relaxed morning

Location great for travelling to and from Folkestone/Dover. Staff were super helpful and friendly. We got stuck in traffic so we rang ahead to order food, arrived to a fantastic hot meal, the pie comes highly recommended!! Will definitely stop over again :)

Stopped here last night on our way to the tunnel. Lovely food, really pleasant staff and a quiet nights sleep! £40, two meals two drinks. We will be back.

A very warm friendly welcome and great pub food. 2 other vans here on the night we stopped. Definitely recommend.

Eau gratuite sur le côté du Bar. (même les tuyaux y sont). Étant donné le service gratuit nous avons quand même bu une thermos de café pour un prix dérisoire (2,83€)

Heerlijk pubfood, aardige mensen. Water tanken mogelijk. Wij waren de enigen, heerlijk rustig, 's ochtends de fazanten op het veld.

Great place to stay before going to the euro tunnel tomorrow. Arrived just after 5pm sadly the kitchen closed at 5pm but enjoying a nice drink in the beer garden. The over spill car park is great for the camper van and free of charge.

Lovely pub. Staff let us stay in the back field with views overlooking the Kent Downs. Very peaceful. We’re self contained so was perfect, but no amenities if you need water/electric. It was free but we bought some drinks in the evening and then had breakfast in the morning. Would definitely recommend - very quick to Dover port as well.

Excellent find! Had a great meal and a quiet night. Pub staff very friendly. Arrived during a cricket match happening right across the road.

Looks amazing but was closed on monday! We‘ll def come back another day.

Stayed here on 7th Sept on the way to Euro Tunnel.It's a lovely place to stay and is very quiet. The only issue that we had is that booked a meal, and after waiting over the hour, they had lost our order, so we gave up and got a refund. The credit card statement said the Black Pig, so they have a sister pub.

Lovely place, very quiet and convenient for the Eurotunnel.

Étape vraiment très sympa. Le stationnement se fait un peu à l’écart du pub, au calme, dans un pré avec vu sur la campagne anglaise. Le petit-déjeuner, typiquement anglais, est servi à partir de 10h.

A great find. Beautiful paddock to park in for the night, nice pub. Just a shame we only got there for last orders as it would have been nice for dinner. Good spot on the way to the ferry but the view across the Downs makes me wish we were staying a bit longer.

Great little pub, very friendly. Very nice meal and at reasonable prices. Quiet and plenty of room on the field for motorhomes, entrance to the field is a little tight but at 2.35m/7.7ft we got through no problem.

Warm welcome, lovely food and great paddock at rear for vans, one of the best pub meals I have had for ages
