Everything is Here on Spot. But not very nice places Where to Camp and not a Special view. But the staff is very friendly. Good for a place from Where you can discover the sourroundings.

Guter Ausgangspunkt um die Inseln Harris und Lewis zu entdecken. Es ist alles vorhanden was man benötigt, die Sanitären Einrichtungen sind in gutem Zustand. Der Stellplätze auf dem Kiesplatz wirken etwas lieblos und kühl.

Lovely spot close to Stornoway for the night. Good facilities and nice quiet spot, and able to walk into town for the evening (about 30 mins walk).

No space for us overnight last night however only £5 for a refresh (empty toilet & refill water)

Great wee site this one. Have stayed here before and they always do their best to fit you in. Facilities are first class. We paid £27 for a Friday night excluding electricity. Such a nice welcome from the staff. Would use again no problem.

Very handy when you arrive on the late ferry. It’s only 10 min away. Friendly staff. Great amenities. Stayed a couple night.

Wij hadden niet geboekt, maar toch geprobeerd. De camping was volledig volgeboekt. De dame hielp ons door ons op de overflow te plaatsen, zo'n 100 meter verder. Douchen kon op de camping, wc, chemisch toilet en water was aanwezig op de overflow. 27£ incl. stroom.

Ein guter Platz mit allen Annehmlichkeiten. Super freundlicher Empfang! Reservierung empfohlen. Wir haben £33 für 1 Übernachtung im 6 m Wohnmobil mit Stromanschluss bezahlt.

arrivés à 18h30 :plus de place au camping, une charmante dame a la réception nous a loué un emplacement sur un terrain un peu plus bas en dehors du camping. herbe avec sanitaires très propres,eau chaude,évier pour la vaisselle, eau le camping car et vider wc, pour eaux grises et douches aller au camping. Régler en cash 27£, un peu cher à un vieux monsieur qui habite à côté. Nuit tranquille

Absolutely fine in every way- it’s not a magical wild place like many stops in the Hebrides, but it’s very handy for Stornaway and North Lewis, fully equipped and beautifully looked after by very nice people. Quiet overnight, level pitches . All good

Excellent stop over after coming off the ferry. Very friendly and helpful. Great showers but only improvement is to put a shelf or somewhere to put things that can’t be hung up in shower block. Was a bit tricky!

Nice site, very quiet and very good amenities including washing up room, washing and drying machines, showers and clean toilets. Also good access to waste water dumpage and clean water. Very welcoming reception, thank you

Very friendly and comfortable campsite. Stopped in our campervan for 1 night, didnt book but rocked up an they were very accomodating. Looks just like the pictures, sheltered an had everything we needed. Proper showers hot an good pressure. Would stop here again definitely.

Booking was complicated, ended up phoning and got quite abrupt, unfriendly, & disinterested service which was a little off-putting from the get go. Arrived and was the most unsightly campsite I've seen in the Hebrides, concrete jungle and literally looks like a scrapyard/disorganised shopping car park, all crammed in like sardines. Looks nothing like the pictures! I chose to leave and not stay.

Came to empty our grey and black waste and fill with water. Very friendly and more than happy to offer this facility to motorhomes for £5. They are not able to offer use of their showers which is fair enough as these facilities are for the campers here. However when traveling through it’s wonderful to know you can empty and refill. Thank you for offering this service to us.

Small campsite. 2 showers (ladies) are old bit there are 2 new ones (men and ladies in the same room but closed showers, so OK). It was a huge storm with rain and wind but the camping has trees around so it was really sheltered.

Je n’ai pas testé le camping et je ne doute pas de sa qualité. De ce que j’ai aperçu, tout semblait très bien. J’ai voulu m’y arrêter pour prendre une douche et vider les eaux grises. Le réceptionniste a refusé que nous prenions une douche et m’a demandé 5£ pour mes quelques litres d’eaux grises. Dommage

Campeggio ordinato e pulito. Personale disponibile a dare tutte le informazioni. Completo di tutti i servizi. Le nuove docce non hanno la regolazione della temperatura e l’acqua è eccessivamente calda.

Ottimo campeggio, proprietari molto gentili che ci hanno aiutato a trovare un posto anche se il campeggio era pieno. Attrezzature molto buone e ottimo segnale Wi-Fi, molto comodo per la città

Ein wirklich schöner kleiner Platz! Der Besitzer ist super freundlich. Wir hatten viel Glück um 17 Uhr noch einen Platz zu bekommen. Man sollte unbedingt vorher reservieren. Alles vor Ort, was man braucht, sogar eine kleine Küche mit Wasserkocher, Herdplatten und Kühlschränken. Handys oder Akkus können immer gratis geladen werden. Die Stadt, Fähre und große Supermärkte (Coop, Tesco) mit dem Auto in 5 min erreichbar, zu Fuß ca. 25 min

Einfacher Campingplatz, mit allem, was man braucht. Sehr nette Betreiberin, die uns wegen der späten Fähre auch noch um 22:00 Uhr auf den Platz gelassen hat. Lage ist zentral, für eine Übernachtung gut geeignet.

Ein sehr netter Platz. Sehr freundliche Betreiber und das Entsorgen des Abwassertanks, ein Vergnügen. Man fährt einfach über ein Gitterrost, in dem ein Bodenablauf ist!

Top Platz und super Nasszellen, sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen wieder

Propriétaire vraiment sympathique, emplacement bien entretenu et calme. 25£ pour l'emplacement qui inclus le wifi et la douche chaude gratuite. 6£ pour l'ajout d'électricité, 6£ pour la machine à laver et 2£ la sécheuse. Pour les filles il y a une salle avec miroir petit banc et séchoir à cheveux.

Very nice campsite, quiet at night, super friendly and helpful owners. You can walk into town, I recommend walking through the golf club and castle gardens. Good for dogs, a small fouling area, and walks not far away. The facilities were spotless clean and the free showers excellent.

sehr schön und super freundlich. Die Duschen sind absolut grandios;) Man steht etwas nahe beieinander, da das Gelände eher klein ist- aber voll ok. War so zufrieden, dass ich noch einmal auf der Rückfahrt vorbeikam.

Washing machines are 6 pounds and drying 50p per 5 minutes but both are industrial machines. Again expensive but we did not use so don’t know how good. Quiet location with little road noise and the receptionist lives onsite and controls misbehaviour. I would use again.

I liked this site for being central to Lewis and near to Stornoway for resupplies. It is a well run and modern site with plenty of level concrete hardstanding. Also, a great camping area with well tended grass. We stayed for 3 nights for 25 pounds without hookup. It’s 31 pounds with hookup which is a bit expensive but it includes clean hot showers, a dishwashing room, black and grey water disposal

Not a very picturesque site but very practical. Excellent, spotlessly clean facilities. We paid £25 for 2 adults in a small camper.

Excellent site within walking distance of town (30 mins). Great, clean facilities with powerful showers and plenty of hot water. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Good value for money. I’ll be back soon I hope.

Stayed one night to be close to the port for the ferry. All facilities, washer £6, dryer 50p for 5minutes. Showers, toilets, waste water and CDP plus fresh water. Could not fault the facilities, but just a convenient stop over.

Stayed one night to be well placed for the ferry in the morning - just 6 minutes drive away. The site is convenient and has all the facilities, but has a rather urban feel to it compared to other sites on the isles.

Wir waren für eine Nacht hier. Da wir uns nicht sicher waren ob wir auf den Hebriden frei stehen können hatten wir vorgebucht. War auch notwendig da komplett ausgebucht. Besitzer sind freundlich. Der Platz hat etwas viel Asphalt so ein gewisses Parkplatzfeeling. Die Sanitärgebäude & Küche etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sauber und das Duschwasser ist heiss.

Visited in the morning to use the CDP and fill up fresh water and empty waste water for which there is a £5 charge if your not staying on site

Lovely little campsite with clean showers and services. Warden was really friendly, interested and helpful. There is a possibility to charge your phone in the reception for free. Awesome camping kitchen. Ideal for daytrips through the island. Would definitely come again!

Les dutxes regulars, però els propietaris encantadors. Demanaven la tarjeta de credit per fer el dipòsit per telèfon, ens van deixar fer-ho amb paypal finalment

Very friendly staff. We arrived late due to ferry schedule disruption and paid the next day. No worries. Clean facilities and well maintained campers kitchen, laundry and washing facilities.

Convenient campsite, but nothing special (not the most charming or with nice views etc). 35 minutes walking to the centre. Clean toilets & showers.

£5 for service. Only CDP in Stornoway area as free CDP on the causeway is locked and out of order. Easy to service grey/black waste and drinking water.

Street lights all night. A very busy road lorry’s cars like sleeping next to M6. Electric hook up if you have a xtra xtra long cable.

Lovely clean campsite and great staff! No showers or toilet available atm, book ahead if you have own facilities on board. Dishwashing and laundry and waste emptying available. Stayed an extra night as it was lovely and peaceful. So handy for the ferry just a short drive from Stornoway.

Gute Sanitäranlage sehr sauber, man hat alles was man braucht. Stornoway ist fußläufig erreichbar. Nette und bemühte Gastgeber. Insgesamt ist der Platz eng. Freies WiFi!

After spending time wild camping, we needed a hot shower and laundry and this site fit the bill. £24 as we are 6 metres long. Very busy site with people coming and going but the staff are very helpful and friendly. Worth the bit of luxury that’s was needed after a wet few days in the rain
