nice spot to sleep. good view, water fountain, toilets during the day, I'm not sure if they get locked at night or not. we stayed on a Saturday and there was an event so people were around until 2am but we slept fine. bright lights too, so make sure you have good window covers!
Lovely quiet spot. Wonderful sunset to the west, snow-capped mountains in the distance to the east. Plenty of room for our 7m Moho.
El parking está bien y tiene buenas vistas, pero hay mucho movimiento de coches por la noche. Es bastante estrecho, no lo recomendaría para ac.
Trop petite ruelle, impossible d’y accéder avec un camping car, le demi tour était impossible, obligé de redescendre en marche arrière!!!
Muy bien sitio para dormir. Sin ruido y muy buenas vistas. Lo único es bajar y subir andando, que está en una cuesta muy elevada. Por lo demás, perfecto
aire avec table pique nique ombragé offrant une belle vue de castelo branco et château a proximité pour photos. quelques passants bruyants mais bien pour 1 nuit en fourgon aménagé . cadre sympa et proche centre ville .
Bel endroit avec ombre et toilettes mais nuit très agitée à cause de plusieurs groupes d’individus qui discutaient , criaient jusqu’à plus de 4 h du matin
Nice and calm and clean spot for a beautiful sunset. Benches for picnic. Note that the place is illuminated all night. We arrived late so toilet was locked - perhaps it is open during daytime.
Je me suis garée ici le temps d’aller me promener dans castelo Branco. Belle vue, toilettes juste à côté. Petite cantine pas chère dans la ville: « Bifanas da sé ».
nuit tranquille ! quelques jeunes qui profitent de leur soirée en contre bas et quelques venues de voiture mais sans plus. en hiver en tout cas c'est chouette de pouvoir se garer ici, je pense qu'en été c'est autre chose
on y a passé, une nuit, endroit nickel, un peu de monde en début de soirée mais vers 21h30, calme absolu.
Très joli coin pour manger - sous les arbres petit visite tout au tour du château.
Un lugar sombreado y tranquilo (la zona arbolada sólo para furgonetas de tamaño medio), que además ofrece bancos y mesas de picnic con una bonita vista de la ciudad.
Beautiful view and very quiet. It has basic public toilets - they open at about 8am and are closed through the night. Great for a quick stopover.
Prima, rustige plek om te overnachten of om een bezoek te brengen aan Castelo Branco. Wij rijden met een camper van 7,5m en hier naartoe rijden lukte perfect. Stad en tuinen zijn lager gelegen. De klim naar boven is te voet goed te doen (d.m.v. trappen) Geen service, behalve openbaar toilet. Mooi pleintje om te parkeren voorbij de parking van de auto’s.

This seemed a great spot at first as very quiet, great views and even clean public toilets. However from about midnight till 2 am several cars drove up. I guess this is a lovers lane, but of course each car wakes you up.
lieu très calme pour la nuit où les 2 places étaient occupées, nous nous sommes garé sur le parking de l'église sous les arbres, 2 véhicules peuvent y tenir sans être trop gros, nous avons un fourgon de 6,36 m, la largeur est assez restreinte pour le passage, gros camping-car s'abstenir
Sitio muy tranquilo con buena vista. Dormimos fenomenal. Hay unos baños gratuitos al lado que cierran sólo por la noche. No hay casi nada alrededor, ni bares ni restaurantes.
Tolle Aussicht, ruhige Nacht, mindestens ein schönes Restaurants in der Nähe (450m Restaurant Pinguim)
AVOID WEEKEND STOPOVERS!!! very beautiful historical place . easy to get to in 7.5tonne and length bus . shady spots to park with plenty of trees no signs forbidding overnight stops so we stayed 1 night in our campervan . public toilets we’re closed . there were some litter bins . lovely panoramic view of city, pleasant walks, quiet and fairly tranquil in the day til 7pm, lots of families / dog walkers walking and relaxing easy access to city centre through traditional streets ... however a warning! we stayed saturday night in late august and it was like a festival til 3am! from 9pm onwards hundreds of people and cars come and go til 11pm for a late visit that was ok..... but unfortunately after 12 midnight/1am onwards loads of young teen racers with loud music chatting partying revving engines meet here til the very early hours, hey it’s their fun but we didn’t get any sleep woke in the morning to the place being tranquil with no one there but feeling very very tired and disappointed of our very poor nights sleep ! .....stay at your own risk or if you’re young it’s a great place to stop over and party! ;)

Calm and beautiful place with a nice view over the city. Full of trees to keep the van fresh in the summer.
Very nice place to overnight, amazing views and "secret garden" nearby very pretty. There are toilets down some steps very close. Despite it being a Friday night it was quiet, only some people being a bit noisy around 10.30pm but they didn't bother us at all. Castle ruins very interesting.
