Camping de la maison communautaire de Deerness. Simple mais propre. Ouvert toute l'année, il y a un numéro de téléphone à appeler en cas d'absence. Nouveaux blocs sanitaires et bientôt lave-linge. Très tranquille. Proche de Mull Head où il y a de belles balades à faire.
Camping home community deerness. Simple but clean. Open all year, there is a phone number to call in case of absence. New sanitary blocks and soon washing machine. Very calm. Close to Mull Head where there are some nice walks to do.
Deerness Community House, Stellplätze auf dem Parkplatz der Gemeindeverwaltung. Linda B. ist telefonischer Ansprechpartner und innerhalb weniger Minuten vor Ort. Sie ist sehr freundlich, übergibt den Schlüssel für Dusche, Toilette und Abwaschraum.
Alles erscheint neu und sehr sauber. Wir waren begeistert von den Möglichkeiten. In nur 4 km Entfernung befindet sich einer der schönsten Wanderstrecken der Orkneys.
Vielen Dank an Linda und die Gemeindeverwaltung für die tollen Möglichkeiten.

fncbongo01/04/2025As previous reviews. Linda was responsive and arrived within 15 minutes of calling to give us access to toilets showers and washing up area. Facilities working and clean. Price the same £20 for campervan 2 adults, plus £5 for electric hookup. Note this is surrounded by farms so smells accordingly and we were treated to some late night cow moos during calving season.

good overnight staying next to community hall, nice and clean toilet and shower, the cheapest price on Orkney, we were there alone for two nights, contact on Linda is on the door to this hall, she come to give you key to wc and shower.

AndyENicholls14/05/2024Excellent park up, ring Linda, her num is on the door, she will bring you a key for the toilet and shower block. the facilities are spotlessly clean and are newly built. there is a washing machine and washing up sink in the utility room. £15 per night for one person, £20 per for two. washer is £5 clothes line in garden, pegs in utility room.fee includes electricity and use of facilities
BarneyOnTheRoad21/08/2023Würde es nicht als Campingplatz bezeichnen, wie es hier in der App registriert ist, eher ein Wohnmobilstellplatz ohne viel Charme. Dafür ein schöner Spielplatz dabei. War uns für 20£ die Nacht zu teuer.

Nous avons appeler le matin pour réserver, nous étions seuls, normal à cette époque ;-) Les sanitaires sont très propres et fonctionnels, la cuisine est accessible également. La personne est venue spécialement pour nous et nous a laissé la clef pour la nuit.
