Très bien, bord de route mais calme la nuit ! En journée il y a pas mal de monde (aire de picnic) par contre en légère pente… mais bon personne ne passe la nuit :)

Small parking for 2 campers, but we saw other campers parking by the road near by. There is picnic tables near by and amazing views of Etna. This is the start location of a 1.5 h trail that is very nice. The police passed by at night when we were having dinner and didn’t bother us at all. Flat enough area for a comfortable night sleep.

Parking calme, propre, table de pique nique a côté. Un peu de passage la journée. Pratique pour commencer les random pour l’Etna.

Amazing view! Very quiet and dark, but challenging to find a flat spot in the dark. Saw the fox on arrival, as well as a baby (!) so no shoes were left outside XD

Posto meraviglioso! Leggermente trafficato, ma per il posto in cui sei, è normale. Un angolo del mondo che difficilmente scorderai! Vista pazzesca, facilmente raggiungibile con un camper di 7 metri. Nessun divieto di campeggio! No fuochi. Molto fresco (18° il 20 di Agosto) perfetto per chi arriva dal torrido caldo del mare. Nessuna fontana, sosta in libera! Sentiero per campi di lava di 3km.. TOP

Splendida vista sull'Etna e stellate spettacolari. Anche se il parcheggio risulta un po' a bordo strada, è comunque fattibile per un VAN e tranquillo per la notte. L'area è attrezzata con tavoli da pic nic ed è una buona base per la partenza del Sentiero natura del Piano Vettore (ad anello). Notti tranquille (2).

Prachtige plaats met zicht op de rokende Etna. Vlakbij is een hotel waardoor er 's avonds soms wat lawaai was maar wel een heel rustige nacht gehad.

Prima plek voor een nacht recht onder de Etna. Startpunt wandeltochten en dus wel wat autoverkeer. s Nachts heerlijk rustig, en zeker na 19.00 uur prachtig zicht op een rokende krater.

Posto tranquillo, qualche macchina di passaggio, area pic nici, vista stupenda

Parkplatz entlang der Straße mit super Blick auf den Ätna. Daneben ist ein gut besuchter, schöner Picknick-Platz. Perfekt, um früh zum Ätna aufzubrechen.

Notte in van tranquilla e con vista spaziale! in particolare noi abbiamo parcheggiato in un piazzale non troppo lontano da alcune baite ma i proprietari non hanno battuto ciglio, anzi sono stati gentilissimi invitandoci a chiedere qualora servisse qualcosa.

Magnifique endroit ! Calme et bien situé. Superbe vue sur l'Etna ! Tables à disposition pour le pic nic. Je recommande vivement

Une superbe vue sur l’Etna qui nous a fait le show donc pas très calme car beaucoup de public mais pas grave ça valait le coup vraiment un chouette endroit pour visiter l’Etna

Toller Platz mit Aussicht auf den Ätna! Bei Eruptionen sind viele Leute da aber sonst ist man meist alleine. Die Einheimischen haben uns den Platz zum Übernachten empfohlen also somit auch kein Problem. Etwas weiter unten findet man in einer Querstraße weitere Parkplätze.

Abit of a angle but can be fixed with wheel blocks. Some traffic from other volcano enthusiasts but mostly peaceful sleep. INCREDIBLE view of the south east crater at night. Highly recommended

If you are as lucky as we were, you will see an amazing performance of Mount Etna, 6 km away, right out of the eye of the caravan. CZ: Úžasné místo, podél silnice, nebo na nedalekém štěrkovém místě u silnice. Pokud budete mít štěstí, jako jsme měli my,uvidíte úžasné představení 6km vzdálené Etny.

On a passe une nuit calme et avec vue sur l'Etna. il y a des tables de Picnic dans les bois à côté du "parking" qui est en fait juste à côté de la route mais il y a peu de passage. on a été réveillé le le demain par un cortège de camions de pompiers qui nous ont demandé de partir. ils instalaient un QG

Lovely place. We picnicked and spent a very quiet night there. Wonderful view of the Etna, especially at night: you can see the red light of the lava scattered in the smoke right above the crater. However, if you seek quietness, beware: a lot of people may come in the morning, and then you no longer feel as secluded as you do during the night!

Schöner Spot. Quiet at night. But be aware of the fox living here. Apparently he likes shoes, do not leave shoes outside your van. He took two pairs of our shoes in the night and they never returned. Otherwise beautiful Etna-View in the night.

Sehr schöner Ort sehr ruhig kaum Verkehr an dieser Strasse. Wir waren eine Nacht dort ohne Probleme.

Magnifique vue sur l'ETNA, nous avons même eu le droit à des éruptions cette nuit (août 2020) génial!!! Nous y avons passé 2 nuits, avec effectivement du passage à cette saison, mais nous étions beaucoup mieux que sur le grand parking de la station !!!
