Caravan area is temporarily closed due to the construction works, but it is open on Saturdays and Sundays. Still you need to register and make reservation. We were there on 8.2-9.2.2025. When the construction works is ready, then there will be showers. At the moment only toilets are in use. Nice area, recommendations.

Necesitas solicitar permiso al cabildo por si página web(Acampada en el menú).Maravilloso lugar para pernoctar(o quedarse a pasar el día) a menos de medía hora del Teide (teleférico).Hay un bar que no vimos abierto porque solo pernoctamos.Tranquilo y si tienes suerte y el mar de nubes se queda por debajo podrás ver una puesta de sol espectacular y un cielo de estrellas con vía láctea y todo.

Waw! Juste parfait. Calme, vue sur el Teide et presque la mer de l’autre côté. Énorme pinède avec des belles installations. Toilettes propres, barbecues etc. Attention, en février il fait très très froid la haut la nuit!! Bien demander un accès sur le site officiel.
Sehr ruhig und großräumig. Wir haben ein paar Stunden vorher auf der Website Chio reserviert und es hat reibungslos funktioniert. Es gibt Toiletten und Wasser. Haben und sehr wohl gefühlt

Amazing place! surrounded by pine trees and there is absolutely nothing there. Good place to start hikes. Do check the starry nights! There are toilets and a sink. Showers are under construction. Super quiet at night and amazing sunsets. It will get very cold once the sun is down, so prepare for cold!
Amazing location. Clean toilets, bbq area, playground, incredible night sky, we saw an entire Milky Way. It’s better to get an authorisation for spending a night. We had one, but nobody checked. P.S. book authorisation for campamentos Chio, autocaravanas are also allowed there. The area for autocaravanas closer to the road is closed.
prenotazione facile online sul sito del parco il giorno stesso. luogo incantevole, altitudine con temperature notturne fredde, spiazzo in piano e ampio. puliti i servizi della vicina area attrezzata, aperti secondo orario.
Ampio parcheggio per camper e caravan situato in una pineta tranquilla e ospitale. Durante la notte la temperatura è scesa notevolmente, quindi è importante essere attrezzati. I servizi erano chiusi, ci sono dei lavori in corso in questo momento. Ci tornerei sicuramente. Bisogna prenotare (gratuitamente) online.
Belle zone pour les campings cars, en plein dans les montagnes avec vue sur le Teide, donc très calme (et aucune pollution lumineuse). Peu de services (toilettes sans papier ni savon, eau non potable). S'enregistrer en ligne est nécessaire mais pas toujours simple, on peut aussi le faire sur place en allant voir les gardes forestier
Belle zone pour les campings-cars et autres vans, dans un vaste camping boisé Un point d'eau (non potable a priori) au niveau des tables de camping, et des toilettes dans un cabanon malheureusement un peu éloigné Coucher de soleil magnifique puis aucune pollution lumineuse A noter qu'il fait un peu froid avec l'altitude, mais pas de vent Demander l'autorisation en ligne au préalable !

Para desconectar es genial. Parking muy amplio en el medio de la naturaleza . Hay barbacoas y baños algo alejado de la zona autocaravanas pero por estaba todo limpio. Hay que pedir permiso online es gratis . Fácil acceso .
we stayed two nights here, it was very quiet and with it being October, perfect sleeping temperature. lovely views around and an extremely clear sky, perfect for stargazing. there are toilets on site which seem to be maintained daily, and a water tap too.

Posto segnalato come area ricreativa chio. Posto molto ampio, quasi dispersivo, tranquillo, zona di bbq con acqua (hai bisogno di una persona ke tenga il pulsante spinto altrimenti si blocca il flusso di acqua), bagni funzionanti e puliti ma lontani dalla zona di parcheggio camper che è semplicemente un parcheggio pianeggiante.
Very quiet place and great surroundings. Just to be clear, there’s no drinking water, but taps with water around the area, but it’s not for drinking.
Der Platz ist wieder offen. Toilette und Wasser im Picknickbereich vorhanden. Der Platz für Womos ist mit Holzpfosten begrenzt und weitgehend eben. Zufahrt durch Schranke gesichert. Leider etwas zuviel saniert, wirkt steril. Aber die Ruhe ist toll. Nachts kalt, liegt ja auch auf 1600m. Kein Handyempfang. Ranger kommt täglich zur Kontrolle. Am Wochenende viele Tagesausflüge, daher abends lauter.

Como zona de acampada está muy bien, pero el problema está en la autocaravana que si es mayor de siete metros te la estás jugando en la entrada hacia el lugar asignado donde han designado que van a pasar la noche. El camino está muy mal. En la zona de merendero puedes pasar pero no pernoctar. Si tienes una van o una autocaravana pequeña... tú decides en pasar por la valla...
Beautiful area, the way down there is a bit scary if your mobile home is bigger but it‘s doable. You have to register first online but it‘s only a few clicks. We spent a really quiet night and could see the milkyway. Best place!
This is a free camping area called ‘Zona de acampada de Chío’. The motorhome area is pretty far downhill, access road is a bit scary (steep, small dirt road) and we hesitated to even drive it. But was doable, even with our heavy motorhome. And so worth it! Gorgeous, in the woods but still open enough to see stars and let sun through. Super quiet. Water tap only up by the picnic area, so fill the tank before you drive down to the campsite. We made the reservation via their website and showed the confirmation mail on the phone when the ranger asked for it in the morning.
