What a spot! People stopping off for photos but otherwise we were completely alone. Dogs loved running up and down the stream (very shallow at the moment). If you follow the grass path along the waters edge you’ll find a couple of deeper spots for a cold dip. Only downside it’s in the shade for most of the day, compared to the other side of the pass which is sunbathed!
prachtige plek om van de bergen, riviertje en de natuur te genieten. geen ontvangst voor je gsm maar das hier helemaal niet nodig op een prachtige dag. gewoon puur genieten. net langs de straat maar weinig verkeer. wel erg steile pas (25%) en smalle wegen. 4 a 5 plaatsen
This is a cracker. Very quiet overnighter shared with 3 others. The road is narrow but with plenty places to pass. It is however very steep. PLEASE respect this area.
Really good location made even better with the stream running right along side. Room for up to 6 vans, perfect place for my TentBox set up
Really peaceful place. Room for 4 vehicles. Toilets not too far away at Buttermere (30p) and Seatoller.
You can’t park here overnight. The National Trust officers and the police will move you on or fine you. This applies to all National Trust land.

We stayed here for two night and absolutely loved it! Very quiet, the only thing you hear is the little stream. Surrounded by mountains and not far from Buttermere. Will definitely come here again.

Room for 3 if squeeze up. Or 1 if greedy ;) Absolutely gorgeous spot. Views of both ends of the valley. Sunrise and sunset at both ends. Very quiet.
