stayed last night, arrived early watched motorbikes coming going, nice kiosk, and toilets, both shut at 5pm, shut all night reopen 730am. parked near kiosk, nice and shaded, quiet, good night's sleep, no trouble.

Arrived 7am and toilets were already open, so suspect open all night? seems a great place to stop and explore. decent cycle route back into town as well

We stayed here last night. It was dark when we got there and the main car park was full of boy racers so we parked up in front of the toilets and cafe in the lay by. Cars were back and forth up until 10pm but it was Saturday night so we wasn’t bothered. There was no trouble and we had a peaceful sleep. Next time we will park in the main car park as there are loads of walks leading from it.

A nice area near some lovely walks with plenty of space to park (so good for privacy in the night). a few kids on mopeds turned up around 9ish but didn’t cause any trouble. was very busy in the morning and the toilets could be better maintained but overall, a quiet stay in a beautiful spot.

Very nice place with lovely woodland walks and toilets open when the cafe is. Few boy racers turned up and left midnight ish but were no bother and a man in a white van doing God only knows what. We weren't disturbed apart from the headlights from white van man . very busy during the day early on with dog walkers. People on picnics and lots of motorcycles coming and going all day .

Nice place to overnight... Loads of people during the day but all left about 9pm...quiet nights sleep.. One other van stayed the night.. Would stay again

Lovely little spot. Toilets open during the day. loads of space for vans. Nice woodland walks. Bins Two other vans there when I was, friendly people.

Stayed midweek Sept 2020 for 1 night and one other campervan. Both parked away from the road as still overnight roadworks going on. Felt very safe and some nice woodland walks. No overnight facilities which is fine and popular in early morning and evening with dog walkers. Would imagine its a lot busier in summer.

Major overnight roadworks were being carried out so got noisy in the evening. But once they settled down a quiet night, nice walks. Toilet available when the cafe is open .

No restrictions for overnight parking there are toilets but closed over night. There is a cafe but its expensive other than that lovely surroundings

Lovely, secluded place to park up for the night with no restrictions, overnight toilets and cafe that opens early...... unfortunately, it's also frequented by doggers!
