You can park here overnight, there are no signs other than 12 hour max ones. Plenty of spaces and we were joined by a few other vans. Great spot for watching the fishing boats and wasn’t too noisy in the morning. Note: the tap some people mention has a clear sign on it now says water not fit for human consumption and had a padlock on it when we were there

Leider ist der Zugang zum Wasser abgesperrt. Hier gibt es kein Wasser mehr

Endroit très sympa, nous avons pu remplir le réservoir d’eau du campervan. Merci pour ce point d’eau.

Nous sommes passés pour faire uniquement l’appoint d’eau. Ça fonctionne! Merci à la commune de permettre l’accès à ce genre de point gratuit !

Très joli spot face aux ruines du château et le long du petit port de pêche.

Day 41 of Vanlife. Slept there one Night no problem. In the Morning you can see the Fisherman leaving from the Port. Really Nice Spot.

8 campers can fit, very quite (you only hear fishermen going in and out of the port, very nice view and close to the town, drinking water available near by , sign says that parking is limited for 12 hours only

Endroit parfait pour passer la nuit, c'est très calme a part le bruit du vent et les mouettes tôt le matin, ce qui ne nous a pas derangé. Il y a de la place pour plusieurs camping car, et il est possible de rester 12h maximum. La vue est très jolie le matin.

Very busy spot, the pier parking was full and vans were parked up on the side of the road. Vans are parked very close together so please be considerate. Don't turn your engine on at 6am and leave it idling for an hour...

Lovely quiet place to park up, it does state parking for up to 12 hours with no return within 2 hours. Free water tap/hose available too. Saw several restaurants nearby.

Super spot dans un petit port, vue sur la mer des deux côtés avec super couché de soleil. Stationnement 12h, une voiture de police est passée le soir (peut être pour vérifier la durée de stationnement).

Ce n'est pas très verdoyant puisque c est un ancien embarcadère mais la vue est imprenable sur le pont et la mer. top

Schöner Blick und eine super ruhige Nacht! Ich hab noch mit einem Fischer gesprochen, der meinte, dass man Platz lassen muss, aber sonst alles cool ist. Bei der King Haakon Bar kann man ab 10 Uhr kostenlos aufs Klo.

Facile d’accès même tardivement . Très calme et jolies vues sur les ruines , sur le pont. Parfait pour une halte d’une nuit!

omg! super quiet, not noisy at all. The sound of the water is nice too. There is a free tap water outside you can use as well near the dock and hotel. Used it to wash my face and brush teeth. Highly recommended if you are that van life or backpacking. Stayed there for a night and went hiking at Storr.

Quiet spot. Park at end of pier to allow parking for fisherman in the morning. Pub up the end of road had good dinner served 5:30-8:30. Recommend parking on the same side as all other vans. A late comer came in and blocked the roadway and didn’t make friends with the locals in the morning.

2nd time here and we here on our own ?? haha absolutely beautiful pubs chippy and castle ruins close. Last time i was here a spoke to a local fisherman and he said park on left hand side and your fine.. Be polite don’t block anyone in and leave no rubbish !!!!! 10/10 scotland the best place for camper vans in the uk. 100% do not leave littler in the highlands? or anywhere for that matter…

Prima plek, wel in alle vroegte havenwerkers maar heb je geen last van. Parkeer wel vooral aan de zijkant zodat er voldoende ruimt over blijft voor anderen om langs te rijden

Parked Close as possible to railings so not to inconvenience anybody. Noticed few campers parked nearer the wall way to the fishing boats, next morning fishermen parked behind etc so the comment saying they get annoyed it’s probably if you park there. Looks better there but likely more of an inconvenience to the locals.

Top Platz, Empfehlung. Mittlerweile darf man dort nur noch 12 Stunden stehen, das reicht aber für eine Nacht.

Tipptopp der Platz. Im Ort hat es gute Gelegenheiten, um etwas zu essen. Der Fischereiverkehr stört nicht, im Gegensatz zu Reisemobilisten, welche mitten in der Nacht das Bedürfnis bekommen, ihre Rangierfähigkeiten verbessern zu wollen...

Toen we om 17:15 aankwamen stonden er al 3 campers. Kan me niet voorstellen dat ze er maar 12 uur blijven. Een visser pakte aan het einde van de dag zijn auto en zei ons mopperend een plek te zoeken die voor campers bedoeld is. Ik kan het me voorstellen dat het vervelend is als zij 's ochtends niet kunnen parkeren omdat er campers staan die niet eens binnen de vakken passen. Wij zijn doorgereden.

Prima plaats aan de haven met uitzicht op de Skye brug. Je kan hier 12 uur staan en mag overnachten. Op de andere parkeerplaatsen staat duidelijk aangegeven dat het niet mag. Politie kwam voorbij: geen problemen. Drinkwater (rode slang)en vuilcontainer aanwezig. Pubs en restaurants in de buurt.

Fantastic stop, secluded but close to a few pubs an the best fish an chips I’ve ever had. I asked if he did curry sauce an he laughed at me and I didn’t realise why but honestly it would’ve ruined it, fantastic stop, fantastic food

Nous nous y sommes arrêtés pour manger avec une vue sur les ponts et les ruines d'un château. Nous en avons profité pour faire le plein d'eau avant de repartir vers le continent. top!

Parfait ! Pas de restriction sauf 12 heures max sans contrôle apparemment. Nuit calme en fin de semaine. Les petits bateaux de pêcheurs pour réveil-matin. Vue imprenable sur les 2 ponts de Skye. Merci PFN !

An unusual place on a canceled ferry, at sea level, by the port, opposite the castle ruins. My husband was absolutely thrilled with his choice of venue. Thanks, Park for night!

Impossible d'y passer la nuit, dommage car l'endroit est superbe.

new signs, max. stay 12 hours...so overnight is possible if you arrive late or leave early ;-) nice spot, great view on loch, Skye bridge and ruins...

would be great but new looking signs to prevent staying over night have been erected have been tampered with...... not worth chancing it...... I'd be forever waiting to get moved on.

Mooie plaats met prachtige uitzicht naar de ruïne en haventje. Zeer rustig ook maar druk . Stonden als eerste rond 1600 maar daarna werd het vol stonden met 7 campers en vans en kon geen meer bij. Op tijd komen maar het was wel in het weekend.

Dei Aussicht ist nach allen Seiten echt hübsch. Keine Campingleistungen, aber fussläufig kann man sich ggf. versorgen und ist auch kostenlos. Wir stehen problemlos mit 7,40 m hier, es sind noch 3 Campervans hier.

Wunderschöner Platz mit Blick auf eine Ruine und der Brücke. Herzlichen am Abend da Seehund ab und an vorbei kommen.

The tap water is in a little metal box across the road from the 1st house which is around the corner. About 50 meters far from the located spot.

Klassisch Park4Night! Abends ankommen, Ausblick genießen, schlafen, beim Frühstück einen Otter beim plantschen beobachten und wieder fahren. Das alles ist in 12 Stunden gut zu erledigen. Länger darf man hier laut Beschilderung nicht stehen.

Hier darf man max. 12Std. parken, je nach Ankunft ist hier eine Übernachtung nicht ideal.

Wir standen hier mit Sicht auf Kyle of Lochalsh. Der Platz ist einfach genial, sehr ruhig, ganz tolle Aussicht, mal ein Boot der ortsansässigen Fischer. Sehr zu empfehlen. In Laufweite die King Haakon Bar, die fangfrische Langusten angeboten hat.

We stayed here on New Year’s Eve, very quiet and no problems although there a sign that says max stay 12 hrs a good spot for a overnight stay

Great spot,very quiet,short drive to Kyle for shops,chippy,toilets and washing machines.

Best nights sleep. One other van and the street lights made it feel very safe. Very quiet other than the lapping of the sea beside us. Pub down the road I’m towards town.

Great place with an amazing view on castle ruins in the nearby, and perfect spot for sunset. Quiet, with a few bins for litter.

Spot convenable, mais pas à la hauteur des autres nuits passées plus au nord. Beaucoup de monde, du passage jusqu'à tard (23h), et surtout une mise à l'eau d'un bateau de plaisance à 6h30 du matin au pied du van, et un passage régulier dès 7h30... Enfin, si vous êtes en van minimaliste comme nous, sachez que les toilettes du café n'ouvrent qu'à 10h15, et qu'il y a bcp d'éclairage public (rideaux)

Il posto non è bello ma è tranquillo, pari e sicuro. Non mi fermerei per più di una notte.

good spot for 1 night. quiet safe and flat. only noises were the strong wind and the seagulls. be prepared there isn't much in the village so come here with everything to spend the night. closest shops are at the other side of the village. great views all around

Geweldige plaats om te overnachten. In totaal stonden er 8 campers. Er lagen zeeleeuwen in de buurt en 's avonds zagen wij dolfijnen voorbij komen. :)

abbiamo dormito qui disturbati la mattina dai gabbiani. buona sosta gratuita. l'unico divieto è non sostare più di 12 ore.

Sehr gerade da eben ein Pier. 12 Plätze sind sicher möglich aber wir sind weiter weil schon 7 Wohnmobile und ein Boot hier standen. Irgendwann wird es ein Schild geben dass man hier nicht mehr stehen darf wenn alles immer voll ist. Bei der Ausfahrt gibt es 2 Plätze die für Wohnmobile ausgewiesen sind. Würden wieder kommen.

Erg leuk plekje met aan de ene kant de kleine vissershaven en aan de andere kant zicht op de Skye brug. De grote parkeerplaats een paar honderd meter terug is voor motorhomes niet meer toegankelijk van 22.00-08.00 uur.

Only used for water fill up. Strong smell for those who haven’t got a strong stomach. Spots are flat.

Great spot to stay if getting onto Skye fairly late/in the dark as we did. Very close to some pubs/restaurants on the front. No bother from anyone. Nice views to wake up to. Is very exposed to the wind, so my partner didn't have the best sleep, but I was fine. Would stay again.

Stayed here over night as closest open campsite was at the other side of Skye and it was getting late, quiet spot with good phone signal. Noise of the hustle and bustle of the fishermen in the morning but wasn’t a problem, was a nice wake up call?

Level concrete pier that is no longer used by the ferry. Space for 8-10 larger Motorhomes. Great views of the local fishing boats and of Moil Castle. Good phone signal on three. As mentioned parking sign says max 12 hours but we arrived late afternoon and left 0800 with no issues.

Great view of Moil Castle and the Skye Bridge. There are public toilets up the road off the main car park. Room for 4 or 5 vans

Very level, concrete parking. You are allowed 12 hrs here but we stayed 16 hrs with no problem due to the time we arrived (late afternoon) and the time we left (9am). There were 5 of us there and there was still room for one or two more. Excellent Vodafone signal as tower was within sight. Nice little walk around to Castle Moi

Lovely views to the Skye bridge. Fresh drinking water tap at the start of the pier. Nice friendly locals. Pub just down the road which is cheap & cheerful.

Good spot, saw sea otters from the van window. Utilised the showers (£3) in Kyle of Locklash. Toilets at the pub. Spent 1x night , 5 other campers

Excellent site flat and good 4g. Closest public toilets across Skye bridge at Kyle of Lochhalsh and open at 9am - also has showers and a laundrette.

Plenty of room to park, all on level tarmac. Good 4G and a water tap fed by a new plastic pipe. Exposed to wind and rain. 12 hours parking permitted. Great views.

Great spot. When you get to the car park keep going and it’s literally right at the end. Other campers stayed in the car park and were the only ones at the end. No signs to say you cannot park it just says no more than 12hrs but there was no one around. There is a bin so please use it, again people had left rubbish on the floor! Pub & restaurant within walking distance. We watched the fisherman getting ready and leave early in the morning. Super quiet, perfect.

Great spot, flat and plenty of space for everyone. We got gorgeous sunset views as it set behind the Skye bridge. Not the most scenic (it is in the town!) but nice walk around to Castle Moil and look out for otters!

Level and much more quiet at the end as others have said, vs the main car park, so we came down the end section and were alone all night. pretty boats and views. there's a massive bin as well. toilets by saucy marys. pub/cafe nearby if u want. a good place for a night if u arrive late to skye. full 4G etc

Nearly all the other motorhomes are stopping in the parking lot back 300 meters, so you can enjoy the silence and the view to the small harbour and the rest of the castle alone. If you are brave enough, you can fill up your freshwater tank from the harbour.

Au bout du port en face des bateaux et des ruines, se trouve un tuyau rouge très pratique pour remplir en eau. Les toilettes indiquées un peu plus loin étaient fermées. Et rien pour vidanger.

Peu de place mais possibilite d'eau.Robinet en face de la maison.

Pour van et pour ceux que ça ne dérange pas de dormir à côté des caisses à poissons. Nous sommes allés au parking précèdent.
