(CB23 1HU) Great Eversden - 7 Church Street

Very cute place to park. Unfortunately I didn't stay because a car was already parked there at 8.30pm. Guy on his phone watching some "extra curricular" and thoroughly enjoying himself so I left. from the main road if you pass church on your left, the car park is just after the bend. Circumstances of park up timing. I imagine it would be a peaceful stop if solo.

Wunderschöner, friedlicher Ort in einem Gebiet in dem man nicht gerade viele gute Plätze findet. Wir hatten eine sehr ruhige Nacht auch wenn wir uns sehr schlecht gefühlt haben weil hier offensichtlich vor kurzem Camper standen die es immer noch nicht verstanden haben: Bitte nicht den alten Reis einfach auf dem Gras entsorgen. Haltet diesen tollen Platz sauber!

Perfect spot. Very friendly locals. Loads of paths around the village. The church has a toilet inside and a tap outside. Swifts nesting nearby. Another van tucked away at the back, we parked further nearer the road, across from the oldest house in the village. Be sure to donate a few quids via the QR code to support the church and keep the facilities going

Nice free spot, max 2 cars. Water tap is approx 20m. No toilets

Great spot for 1 night, beautiful church. Very convenient for a walk with our dog. There was some trash, which is surprising because of the bin. Please keep it clean!

Schöner, ruhiger Platz. Wir haben hier sehr gut geschlafen.

Great place to park up. Very friendly village. Indian restaurant just down the road. We left a donation at the church (there's a QR code).

A loverly spot, nice and quiet, next to church.

This is a gem of a place to spend one night. no sevices so not really suitable for campers that arent totally self sufficient. there are numerous walks, some even have solar lights on the posts! this is on the edge of a village and next to a church so leaving NO trace is essential if this is to remain a stopover. please respect, its a beautiful place.

Parfait petit parking pour dormir au calme. Vue sur les champs, au pied d'une petite église. Un robinet d'eau est sur le mur de l'église au pied du clocher.

Super Lage, sehr ruhig und direkt am Feld bzw. Wiese. Perfekt mit Hunden. Wenige Gehminuten entfernt zum Pub.

beautiful rural countryside location with space for 4 vans. Occasional dog walker, all friendly and welcoming and mostly stop for a friendly chat. there is the bonus of a bin but please don't use it to dump rubbish as its such a lovely location. Also there is a water tap next to the church. please be respectful of noise as there's a house opposite

Lovely little village and super quiet. Snowed while I was there which made it even more stunning than not already was.

Beautiful little spot, calm and clean. We stayed one night only and were alone. Would definitely come again.

Lovely little space quiet with trees rustlings birds singing overhead plane every now and again. Be respectful be quiet as your right next to a house and one in front of you as well as the church Don’t dump any waste or rubbish even though there is a bin for rubbish. Very quiet area hardly any traffic. Good for overnight stop

Was a beautiful park up just off the road with a little public footpath running from the church beside a lovely open cropped field. Very nice and peaceful, but I would definitely recommend parking the side of the church as otherwise depending on your campers height, you will get a lot of noise from the low hanging branches hitting your camper. Lovely. Stayed 1 night

Opposite the road looking directly on the carpark there is a house, however the only thing you will hear in the evening and morning is birdsong. Occasional Walkers/Dog Walkers and Cyclists use the trackway. Slightly uneven gravel easily suitable for up to 8m unit. Good 3G signal. Responsible grey water disposal possible. There is a Tap on the outside of the beautiful church built 1466.

Wonderful! Absolutely quiet at night. Lovely walks. Stayed Saturday night and left before car park needed for Sunday service.

Little gravel car park next to a church, Stayed for 1 night with no issues, 1 other camper turned up a bit later on. Peaceful nights sleep with the very occasional car driving past up till about 10pm

Great little spot. No need to worry here, the villagers welcome peaceful, thoughtful overnight stop overs. Lovely area with plenty of gorgeous walks. Didn’t feel the need to move off early either. Few dog walkers but very peaceful.

Legal to stay, the cleric or churchwarden is very nice and welcoming. The church is open all night, toilets and water in access. I have arrived in the night, it will be a fantastic sleep tonight :-) Very quiet, a few local cars passing on the street. Nice view to the nature.

Endroit calme, le curé nous a gentiment proposé d’utiliser les sanitaires et l’électricité de l’église, les personnes qui promènent leurs chiens sont très gentils. A conseiller !!!

We stayed here for one night. It is a nice spot and there is a public footpath nearby which we used to walk our dog. We had a quiet night and it didn't seem to bother anyone that we stayed there.

Prachtig!

Nice and quiet place next to the church. The priest came by to tell us we could use the bathroom inside the church (toilet and running water) and there is electricity that we can use if we need to charge something. Bathroom turned out very clean.

It was a wonderful place on the back of a church. Locals with their dogs asked whether we slept well :) You should probably not stand here with a huge motor home. Our small camper was okay.

Direkt an der Kirche hat man direkten Sichtkontakt zu einem Haus, wir sind den Weg ein Stückchen weiter herein gefahren. Es sind recht viele Fußgänger mit ihren Hunden vorbeigegangen, ansonsten ein ruhiges Plätzchen.

We stay here 20/10/17, however it should be noted motorhomes are not welcome here and the locals were not pleased to see us. We were very tired and had a long way to go so they turned a blind eye, but it isn't a suitable stopover sadly.

Très bien pour une nuit au calme. Attention toutefois car il s'agirait d'une voix privée. Ce petit coin de nature risque de ne plus faire partie de la liste des endroits sympa où dormir.

Possibilité de se poser sur le bord du chemin ou derrière l'église, aucun service mais tres au calme. Pas de service. Attention, un cimetière est autour de l'église. Passages de personnes promenant leurs chiens et des cavaliers.

Sympa pour passer une nuit, pour les superstitieux, il faut savoir que c'est juste à côté d'un vieux cimetière.
