Sehr laut um 23.00 Uhr permanentes Motor dröhnen. Viele LKWs ansonsten vlt ok aber schlafen kann man bei dem dröhnen nicht!
Séjour exceptionnel avec vue sur le port de Lochinver, en face du restaurant Peet's. On y trouve vraiment tout ! Toilettes publiques à une minute en voiture du centre du village, où se trouvent également un supermarché Spar, une boucherie et le célèbre restaurant-pâtisserie Lochinver Larder. Une station-service est également disponible dans le village, ainsi que des douches au centre Asynt. Empruntez la route de Canisp pour admirer l'emblématique montagne Suilven. De belles promenades en forêt vous attendent également à proximité, dans les bois de Culag. Une aire de services pour camping-cars se trouve juste derrière l'hôtel Culag ; vous pourrez y vider vos eaux usées et faire le plein d'eau.

Brilliant stay overlooking the harbour at Lochinver opposite Peet's Restaurant. Everything here really ! Public toilets 1 minute drive to village centre where there is also a Spar Supermarket and a Butchers plus the world renowned pie shop/restaurant Lochinver Larder. There is also a petrol station in the village and showers at the Asynt center. Take a drive up Canisp Road to the iconic mountain Suilven. Also lovely forest walks close by at Culag Woods There is a Moterhome services park just behind The Culag Hotel for emptying waste and water refill
All in all a must stay here
Ein fantastischer Aufenthalt mit Blick auf den Hafen von Lochinver, gegenüber von Peet's Restaurant. Hier fehlt es wirklich an nichts! Öffentliche Toiletten sind nur eine Minute Fahrt vom Ortszentrum entfernt, wo sich auch ein Spar-Supermarkt, eine Metzgerei und das weltbekannte Restaurant Lochinver Larder befinden. Im Ort gibt es außerdem eine Tankstelle und Duschen im Asynt Center. Unternehmen Sie eine Fahrt die Canisp Road hinauf zum markanten Berg Suilven. In der Nähe, im Culag Woods, laden schöne Waldspaziergänge zum Verweilen ein. Direkt hinter dem Culag Hotel befindet sich ein Wohnmobilstellplatz zum Entleeren des Abwassertanks und Auffüllen der Wasserflasche. Kurzum: Ein absolutes Muss!

mickwalker11/10/2025It is not the location's fault that an inconsiderate van owner parks lengthwise. I've stayed here many times and never had a problem with parking. Fri/Sat in summer there can be some activity until 11pm with the pub across the road. But quiet after that
dawei8811/10/2025Arrived around 16:00 car park empty, full a few hours later with pub customers, wee bit of noise but everyone went home by 23:00. Quiet nights sleep. Site fairly exposed, so if have a strong westerly will rock your vehicle around quite a bit
terriblejoe07/08/2025Very noisey. Lots of cars pulling in, turning around, waiting with engines on. One van took up all the length of the harbour by parking sideways. Lots of music and horn blowing. We moved on unfortunaly.

Very quiet on a Wednesday evening. Ideal parking for the Loch Druim to River Inver loop walk as well.

Practical, flat place to stay for one night. Quiet after the pub has closed. We walked to Lochinver Larder for a meal, conveniently, a Spar supermarket across the road and petrol next door before leaving. Ideal to walk around town, my children enjoyed playing on the beach and we all slept well.

A functional place to stay as not pretty but very useful for walking into Lochinver which is a great little town. There was plenty of room & no noise at all so a great sleep. We ate at Peet’s restaurant which was pretty good but also got take away pies from Lochinver larder so looking forward to those tonight

Parked up here 19/9/24. Not the prettiest location, but we had a good night's sleep. No noise after the pub bar customers left at 11pm. We felt safe here. Had a lovely walk into Culag Woods round the corner. Saw deer grazing in the park where they hold the annual Assynt Highland games. Much quieter than the leisure centre over the road as there is machinery running all night opposite the car park

We slept here overnight in our 7.4 metre motorhome,had absolutely no problems,not noisy at all,we expected it after reading other reviews but we both had a great night sleep,recommended stopover

Prima plaats voor een nacht. In de haven, dus wel wat geluid maar niet hinderlijk. Heerlijk gegeten bij Delila's een aanrader!!!

next to the harbour. ... machines working till late hours. bip bip from lorries and heavy lifts . cars passing... I am not sure who got the fantastic recommendation as sleeping place.. could have chosen the parking of a night club with better results... probably other users came wit super good noise isolated vans or during days off... but do not be fooled. check Google. port is 24/7 ...

Wir haben hier wunderbar geschlafen und zuvor in Peet's Restaurant sehr gut gegessen. Dabei hat das Restaurant nichts mit dem Parkplatz zu tun. Der Platz liegt im Hafenbereich, da kann es schon mal Geräusche geben. Am nahe gelegenen Freizeitcenter war uns der Dauerpegel einer Industrieanlage zu laut.
Si1366708/04/2023Best nights sleep sofar!! Lochinver is a very small town/large village. A little bit of noise around closing time but nothing unexpected for a Friday night. Would rather stay here than a rammed full campsite!! Very little movement on a Saturday morning either. Even for an Easter weekend. plus lovely woods for a dog walk and explore. And excellent cafe attached to the Bunkhouse!

I recommended this park up. There can be engine noise 200 yards away so it is minimal. As for the area, it's not a car park ! But there is ample space for 10 vehicles and you can park up further down right at the turning point where you will hear nothing ! 2 spaces there The amenities of a pub and great Restaurants nearby means there is life ! So some activity is likely !

Parking en centre ville proche d’une route mais aucun bruit la nuit ; avons dormi jusqu’à 10h ! La vue n’est pas exceptionnelle mais proche des restaurants, sanitaires etc

Tres joli petit port pour une ballade au soleil couchant au bout de la jetée. Nous avons dormi sur ce parking face au 'peets' une nuit sans être dérangés. Possibilité de vidange eaux grises et remplissage gratuitement en prenant la première à gauche, au fond avec vidange eaux noires contre 9€ par carte.

Lijkt fijne plek totdat om 23.00 uur een vrachtauto met vis de koeling aanzet en blijft staan. Wij zijn vertrokken.

Très bien pour une nuit, zone calme. Proche du centre pour commerce (petite épicerie), et à proximité immédiate d'un bar restaurant "thé peet's" (excellent par ailleurs) Aucune circulation la nuit, nous y avons très bien dormi.

Not as good as site as picture shows. Very small area and right on main harbour area so very very busy. Wouldn't recommend it at all. Much easier to drive another minute to the Assynt Leisure Centre.
