Très belle aire, propre, ombragée et entourée d’espaces verts. À quelques pas de jolies promenades à faire au bord de l’eau. Parfait avec des chiens (et les petits sacs qui vont bien). Merci à la commune pour son accueil.

Good place to stay for the night. As others have said there is no grey water disposal but there is WiFi. The museum is closed over winter for refurbishment. Lovely walks along the river and amazing views. Short distance up to the castle of Vamba and its legends. Periodic smells from the paper factory don't spoil it too much.

Lugar simples e encantador, vale pelo passeio ao longo do passadiço. Pena não ter despejo de águas cinzas. Mesmo assim recomendamos!

We spent a couple of nights there. Free WiFi which sometimes goes on and off but should not complain really. Very helpful tourist office good walk to chapel on hillside with great views. Slight smell when we arrived from plant somewhere which is a shame for such a nice part of town. Quiet night.Thank you to the local village/people and GNR for leaving us alone in peace.

Great park up spot for the night. Slept well despite the gentle droning noise from the reservoir outtake pump near by. Free services. Still no grey water dump. Very close to the lake and the Neolithic site. Restaurant at the lake is now closed for the winter.

Exelente ASA, situada num Jardim perto do Rio e numa zona pedonal bem bonita. Alguns locais estacionam no sitio destinado para as Autocaravanas e a ASA não tem grelha para despejos águas cinzas.

Belo e agradável local. A melhorar a área de serviço. Algum descuido na manutenção e organização. A não clara identificação de locais levou a que um veículo, nao autocaravana,tivesse ocupado a área de serviços durante muito tempo.

Der Park ist super sauber, aber da ist dahinter eine Kläranlage oder ähnliches. Es riecht nicht es stinkt ekelhaft alle 20 Minuten. Das Wasser hat sehr viele Algen. Wir waren nicht schwimmen. Die Musik ist sehr laut und lange zu hören. Sind am späten Nachmittag angekommen und fahren gleich am nächsten morgen weiter, mit wenig Schlaf. Sorry das muss auch mal gesagt werden. Der Geruch ist zu extrem

Excellent spot with motorhome water services available, and very close to the Tagus river with grass beach! the natural wonder "Portas de Ródão" is a "must see"!

Très agréable et bien ombragé : on apprécie quand il fait 35° !!!! Le petit port et le vues sur le Taje sont superbes. Manque juste la vidange eaux usées. Et un bruit de fond périodique provenant du bâtiment à 100m est un peu gênant mais n'empêche pas de dormir Selon votre emplacement, vous bénéficierez d'un lavage gratuit de votre camping car au petit matin grâce au système d'arrosage ;)

es gibt halbschatten und Vollschatten Plätze. das Wasser ist kostenlos. der Fluss hat soviel an Wasser abgenommen das der Weg ins wasser sehr matschig ist. am Wochende zumindest sehr laut am Tag und bis in die Nacht rein.

Buen lugar para estar tranquilo, agradable, limpio y con alguna sombra. Con agua gratis y vacunados. mucha arboleda bien ajardinada, iluminada, un pequeño paraíso junto al río Tajo. Al ser un pueblo industrial a veces se huele a fábrica de papel, una pena, Gracias al ayuntamiento por mantener la zona en buenas condiciones de uso.

Schöner Stellplatz nicht weit vom Fluss in einem kleinen Park. Die Plätze sind teilweise im Schatten durch die Bäume. Allerdings muss man wegen den Ästen aufpassen. Ver- und Entsorgung ging ohne Probleme, allerdings Grauwasser nur mit Schlauch oder Eimer. Wir hatten eine ruhige Nacht, kaum Verkehr und Hunde zu hören. Ab und zu kam allerdings eine eigenartiger Geruch vorbei, aber nicht schlimm.

Der Platz wurde gut beschrieben und wir haben alles genau so vorgefunden. Leider sind die Äste sehr tief und wir sind wegen unserer Höhe von 3.2m von der falschen Seite her eingefahren. WC sauber. Wunderbar für eine Übernachtung.

Beautiful surroundings, amazing town. Has free water and waste service. It's not very big and in town, right next to the boats for a tour on the river. Beautiful views from the river, some nice information about the first humans in the area and it's fauna. It's an open and free caravan park, with some shades, nice lawns. You will be right in town, and have neighbours close by.

Heute hier am SP. Der Platz ist schön angelegt, viele Bäume, funktionierende V E. Aber: Der Platz ist laut, kläffende Hunde in der Nachbarschaft, laute Güterzüge und ein permanentes Summen und Brummen im Hintergrund. Hinzu kommt ab und zu eine unangenehme "Duftwolke" vorbei, offensichtlich von den Industriebetrieben.

super platz. wir haben sehr gut geschlafen. alle Plätze waren gefüllt. Wasser kann gratis aufgefüllt werden. wir können eine Fahrt auf dem Fluß für 16€ empfehlen.

Olá. Chegamos ao final da tarde de hoje, e havia ainda alguns lugares à escolha. Muitas sombras e muita calmaria. Neste momento não há descarga de águas cinzentas ou melhor dos banhos e de lavar a louça. Perto podemos apanhar um barco para visitar as Portas do Rodão. Aconselho bués.

one of the best free stops we've had. all services you need , pretty riverside walks, supermarket , and Cafes.

A great location, and free. Not a lot to offer in the town it seems but there are boat trips. There was no smell when we were there, and I suspect that depends on the wind direction anyway. There was a little noise from a dog barking and the trains in the early evening but quiet at night. A humming noise from the factory next door was the worst. There is no provision for grey water.

Just to add, about 50 meters towards the harbour and restaurant there are the toilets and they are open daytime.

Ein schöner Platz mit schönen Wegen und direkt am Fluss. Allerdings war es abends ziemlich laut- Hunde, Züge. Das wurde nachts und morgens jedoch besser. Was wirklich abartig war, war der Geruch. Es stank extrem nach Gülle. Ich empfinde mich sonst als wenig geruchsensibel aber das empfand ich stark an der Grenze.

Pas de bruit de bateaux mais le soir on entend quelques trains. Aire gratuite. Vidange eaux noires près du robinet de remplissage. Les eaux grises en sortant. En face l’office de tourisme qui vend les spécialités locales: huile d’olive exceptionnelle et conserves de truite et alose du Tage. 5 étoiles même s’il n’y a pas l’électricité. Il faut aussi visiter le vieux moulin à huile d’olive dans le village. Partout un très bon accueil.

Super. The only con is it's closeness to the boat docks which are very loud.

Lovely motorhome park up with space for around 9 MH. It’s in a nice grassed, tree lined area by the river. Very pleasant surroundings and services for WC and water. The area by the river has a lovely walkway and park area. It was very quiet at the end of October 2022. As a side note we did smell the factory but it didn’t bother us. Thank you to the town for a lovely park up.

Un lugar fantástico para pasar una o dos noches. Área gratuita sin restricciones para acampar. Sombras, espacio amplio para unas diez autocaravanas, agua, vaciado de grises, basura, vaciado de aguas negras. El tren pasa varias veces al día. Olor de la fábrica de celulosa dependiendo de la dirección del viento. El río tajo a 100 metros, con la rivera arreglada y muy cuidada.

De passage ce 13/10/2022 que du positif sur cette aire - je voulais signaler la présence de l’office du tourisme tout proche avec de bons produits portugais, et aussi n’hésitez pas à faire le circuit qui part au bord de la plage fluviale par le ponte do Enxarrique et vers le Lagar de Varas- celui qui veut découvrir ne sera pas déçu .

Cette belle aire pourrait recevoir 5 étoiles si l'environnement n'était pas aussi bruyant : passage des trains, chiens qui aboient, et surtout située à proximité d'une entreprise dans laquelle se déclenche jour et nuit un appareil genre refroidisseur. S'y ajoute l'odeur infecte de l'entreprise à l'entrée de la ville. Dommage car l'environnement est très joli, et le restaurant en bas excellent

Precioso Area bien enclavada junto al Tajo.Àrboles algunos centenarios ...mucha luz, agradable para sacar sillas ( o eso nos pareció). Esta noche de Septiembre estamos 12 ACs y Furgos.Baños públicos alado.

Buen sito para dormir y pasar el dia.Baños publicos muy limpios, sombra y sitio para llenado y vaciado de agua. Cerca de la orilla del tajo y un bar pequeño. Muy recomendable.

Lugar muy tranquilo, en un entorno muy bonito y con servicios para llenar/vaciar agua y limpiar el wc. Mas no se puede pedir. Es pequeño pero en nuestro caso estaba bastante vacio.

Un sitio bien cuidado, tranquilo, con grifo y aguas grises, a orillas del río tajo con un bonito atardecer y un bar. Hay baños públicos muy limpios. Si tienes la suerte que el aire durante la tarde-noche no sopla en esa dirección todo perfecto en el caso de que comience a soplar, hay un fuerte olor insoportable de una fábrica. (A nosotros solo nos pasó al levantarnos por la mañana, tuvimos suerte)

L’area està molt bé, amb algunes places que li toca ombra. Llastima de la olor insoportable d’una indústria que hi ha a l’entrada del poble i que t’acomoanya sense parar tota la teva estància al poble.

tem todos os serviços básicos mas não tem electricidade; tem sombra e está muito é perto do cais, rio, restaurante e posto de turismo, mas longe do centro da vila se for a pé (supermercado) cheiro das fábricas de papel quase sempre desagradável, e barulho a noite inteira de outra "fábrica" que está no terreno mesmo ao lado. pet friendly.

Local com condições para disponibilizar água e limpeza. Tem sombras e zonas ajardinadas. Em épocas mais concorridas deve ser melhor chegar cedo para garantir lugar. Tem wc público super limpo pertissimo. O rio está a meia dúzia de passos, possível fazer Passeios de barco no Tejo, tudo tratado no bar/restaurante. Tem posto de turismo em frente zona de parqueamento.

Estacionamento largo e de fácil acesso. Água e despejos a funcionar. Pena o cheiro e barulho, mas o local está bem situado.

We stayed one night (4pm Tuesday 22 March) Great site. Free access to water, grey waste and black waste. Very clean public toilets nearby. Great views nearby. Good phone signal. Easy access for any size vehicle. We were not affected by the smell from the pulp factory on our stay. There were 3 other motorhomes here.

Mooie plaats, maar helaas kunnen wij echt niet tegen die geur van de pulp fabriek. We kwamen gister aan en de wind stond goed, dan is het een prima plek. In het dorpje een klein (gratis) museum over hoe ze olijfolie persen. En beneden een geweldig zicht op de Taag. Maar de volgende morgen wakker worden om 6 uur met een lucht die niet gezond kan zijn, echt sneu voor de inwoners van dit dorpje!

El lugar es maravilloso. El comportamiento de los autocaravanistas veteranos, no tanto. Por favor aparquen bien sus "autobuses" para que podamos entrar los demás. Un paraíso que tenemos que cuidar entre todos. Gracias Portugal.

What a fabulous Aire with free services. We are grateful to the community for it. The archeological site is really interesting just a 2 minute walk along the river.

Couldn’t park there due to a race boat event . parked further down the river near the football ground . quiet night . nice place . but the town sure does smell with factory fumes !!!

Prima plek, alleen chemisch toilet lozen en vers water halen (met jerrycan oid). Prullenbakken aanwezig, geen toilet beschikbaar (oktober). Als de wind verkeerd staat kan ik me voorstellen dat je iets ruikt van de papierfabriek een stuk verderop bij de snelweg. Nu totaal geen last van. Fijne plek als tussenstop richting Spanje.

We can't reach the dumping place with our camper.. and you need an attachment for the water otherwise u will be soaked :)

Todo muy bien hasta que a media noche cesó el viento y llegó el olor de la fábrica de celulosa, justo cuando un pequeño perro histérico de una casa próxima parecía dispuesto a callarse después de ladrar ininterrumpidamente durante horas y horas. Vaya dueños, sordos o insensatos. Una pena, porque tanto el área como el entorno están muy bien

Menudo olor!!! Hay una papelera y una central térmica... terrible. justo detrás del área hay otra nave industrial que activa extractores día y noche. Una pena porque el sitio está muy bien.

Sitio espetacular, perto do rio Tejo, com sombras, cafés e passeios pedestres. Todos os serviços a funcionar.

Tidy little spot Agree with all previous positive comments. Kayaking hire is close by. Neandathall museum... closed. Couldn’t find any decent tracks by the river to walk with a dog. Nearest tracks the other side of the railway station and near vertical. Not good when it’s +30*. Services still free. No barriers. Low trees.

Beautiful place with facilities, a few paces of the impressive Tejo. Walking distance of Foz do Enxarrique, place where the Neanderthalers lived. The spots for the Vans are with shadow. Like it

Quiet place with capacity for 16 motorhomes. close to the river and the beautiful natural landscapes of the Portas de Ródão Natural Park. all basic services are available on site for free except electricity. I recommend

Mise à la part l'odeur nauséabonde dès que nous sommes entrés dans cette ville, due a priori à une usine, excellente étape bien au calme avec possibilité de balades. Pas du tout gênés par l'odeur le lendemain.

Thanks to the local camera for providing a wonderful spot near the river with amenities enjoyed a quiet night stopover.

Very beautiful area with free services (except electricity). The surrounding is a beautiful garden that leads to a water port where you can take the boat to make a trip in the river. It's also an escavating site where remains of Neendertal's where found and also the last remainings of Elephants in Europe.

Bona àrea, amb llambordes, com tot Portugal. El lloc per recollir l'aigua estava ple de cotxes petits, però finalment varen marxar. El riu Tajo, aquí embalsat, és tranquil i hi ha possibilitat de navegar, ja sigui amb la nostra barca o amb un vaixell de passeig. Lluny del poble però per això tranquil, encara que la fàbrica de paper a vegades fa olor.

No smell today as winds are from the south blowing off the river. Great location with easy access to the river bank with great views of the Ródão Gorge. Interesting archeological site with lots of English information on the boards. Free water and waste disposal. Lovely spot.

This spot gets 3 stars because it feels incredibly safe, it has the best free WiFi. water/dump point the river is pretty -2* due to pollution and noise. there is a papermill and other industrial stuff in the area, and the air is pretty heavily polluted and smells toxic, and both mornings we've been very loudly awakened by gardeners mowing right next to our van! bizzare twice in 48 hours

Juste arrêter pour de plein d'eaux. Les places sont toutes en pentes donc prévoir des cales. Mais l'odeur est dégueulasse, pas sérieux pour un endroit aussi beau près du lac.

Le Dieu Eole nous a envoyé son souffle dans le bon sens donc soirée non odorante.... le Tage tout près Bel endroit si ce n’est ce vendredi quelques braillards pour rompre notre tranquillité... bien pour une nuit de passage

Very nice amongst the trees and 50 meters from the river. Good access, blocks needed, well lit, we felt very safe and had 2 very peaceful quiet nights. Black grey and fresh all available and also free internet from the tourist office during opening hours which is opposite the aire. Nearest restaurant is by the river but expensive. The town is a 1.5km slog uphill and not much there. During October most restaurants appear shut. Short walk along the river, provably better in summer.

Aire très bien entretenue, éclairée et proche du Tage (Vue magnifique) seul bémol : un chien errant lors du repas couplé aux aboiements du chien du voisin. la nuit fut quand même très calme

Sitio con todos los servicios gratis, buenas plazas y mucha sombra. detrás del embarcadero al Tajo, hay un bar donde comer algo y tomarte unas cervecitas. Buenos paseos por la orilla del río cuando el sol lo permita. perfecto!

Viagens de barco proximo, ao longo do rio tejo, para apreciar o monumento natural "Portas de Rodão", um falha geodesica. "Bar do cais" a 50 metros, um excelente café/restaurante

Alles sehr gut gelöst, auch Schatten. aber kein Grauwasser-Abfluss vorhanden, nur Regenwasser-Abläufe. Grauwasser geht nur mit Schlauch in Schwarzwasser-Klappe

Un parking con desagüe (negras y grises) y carga de agua gratuito. En un parquecito de cesped muy bien cuidado. Tiene un barecillo con vistas al Tajo muy chulo. Como sitio de paso esta muy bien para dormir. Muy tranquilo.

Afrader!! opzicht prima locatie, maar naar 3 uur zijn we weg gegaan omdat we misselijk werden van de lucht die er hing, waarschijnlijk afkomstig van de grote fabriek die er staat, helaas niet op de foto's van deze locatie terug te vinden.

Merci à cette jolie petite ville. Très propre le lieu est agréable. Une jolie promenade au milieu des orangeais ,oliviers et des moutons avec de jeunes agneaux au bord du Tage.L' Aire est bien entretenue . Une nuit tranquille avec le chant du coq au matin .

A lovely little free Aire, clean, functioning and well maintained. Friendly locals passing by occasionally, we felt very safe and had a quiet night here. Easy access to river (we put our kayaks in there), a nice walk along the river to see otters and vultures amongst other things, and an area of archaeological interest too.

Étape repas, pour ce qui comme moi se sentent oppressé par les arbres trop bas m on repart. Grille dégradée sans entretien.

The smell was terrible. But in all other respects this is a lovely site with full facilities. It is in beautiful setting near the river and special interest area. A bread van came at about 9:45

Looks pretty but the smell from the paper factorys are so awful we felt sick and left as soon as we could

L'endroit aurait été parfait mais cette odeur vraiment nauséabonde durant toute la soirée et la nuit nous ont gâché notre court séjour. Dommage car la commune a installé une borne de service gratuite lors de notre passage

Nous y avons passé une bonne nuit calme. Agréable aire gratuite ce 04/09/17. Très bel endroit. Le petit port sur le Tage est à 100 m. Belle balades à faire.

Très propre et paisible. Il y a aussi un resto où l'on mange bien avec vue sur la rivière.
