Easy access to main roads but quiet at night. No services but none expected, good 4g signal

Road side parking with no apparent limits or restrictions. A little noisy from main road 1/2 mile away but tolerable.
Parken am Straßenrand ohne offensichtliche Einschränkungen oder Einschränkungen. Ein wenig laut von der Hauptstraße 1/2 Meile entfernt, aber erträglich.
Estacionamiento en la carretera sin límites ni restricciones aparentes. Un poco ruidoso desde la carretera principal a 800 metros pero tolerable.
Parcheggio lungo la strada senza limiti o restrizioni apparenti. Un po' rumoroso dalla strada principale mezzo miglio ma tollerabile.
Parkeren langs de weg zonder duidelijke limieten of beperkingen. Een beetje lawaaierig vanaf de hoofdweg een halve mijl maar draaglijk.

weelel01/06/2024Lovely peaceful area, beautiful scenery, plenty of overnight parking on the flat, very quiet overnight, some passing traffic in the morning to be expected but not enough to be bothered with. Very close to sizergh castle, leven hall and deer farm. Highly recommend

Lovely quiet night, spent day at Sizergh Castle NT and walked to bird hide and saw a Marsh Harrier. The Helsington Church is worth walking to and has amazing views.
GregWalter25/10/2023Very handy spot, nice and level, heaps of space. Some traffic noise from adjacent 'A' road, not much traffic on this one. A walking track starts at the southern end of the layover.

Very large layby next to fields. There's not much traffic on the road itself but the major roads nearby are very noisy until late and then start again early. Did the job but I wouldn't rush back!

excellent overnight stop pub close food till 20.30 easy access
Lilaccookie07/08/2022Loads of space. Good spot to stay. Parking in Sizergh Castle tight so park here and walk up drive. Close to pub and farm shop.
