Perfect spot for a quiet night in the national park, many hiking trails start nearby. Paid from 07:00 until 17:00, 5 euros per day, night is free. Concrete, flat spots, few steep ones. The pin is a bit off, the parking with big spots is just down by the toilet (open 7-14:30 in May and September, 7-18 from June till end of August). Sink and toilet only, no external water faucet. We would return !

Als Ausgangslage für Wanderungen und zum Ausleihen von Rädern oder Ausrüstung für den Klettersteig super. Um das WC Häuschen wird gerade gebaut, Zugang zwar möglich, Türen können aber nicht verschlossen werden. Wasser nur über den Wasserhahn innen, keine Anschlussmöglichkeit außen. Parkgebühr laut Website saisonabhängig.
Wir fanden den Platz in Podlesok wesentlich schöner und ruhiger, auch wenn es hier gerade und asphaltiert ist, so ist doch auch mehr Verkehr und weniger Ruhe. Als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen in Ordnung.
Nice spot to park during the day (€5 day or €2 after 14:00) and access hikes as it seems secure, but overnight, Friday night, there was cars passing until about midnight and we didn’t get good sleep (the gate never closed).
Looks like the toilet is accessible only during the working hours, it at least they were locked when I was here around 19:00 (in July). Not too calm, there is traffic and noise from nearby hotels and restaurants. Without the toilet, there's not much point to stay there. Better to go to the other place around 2km west (you'll find it on the map).
Je recommande vivement d'aller au parking 2km plus loin également indiqué sur le site. il est gratuit et beaucoup plus calme avec une bien meilleure vue. de plus, les toilettes étaient fermés au moment où nous sommes passés
Metto cinque stelle perché c’è tutto per una sosta di una notte. Se arrivi dopo le 17.00 è gratuito, altrimenti si paga 5 euro. Il parcheggio è illuminato vicino ad un pensione che fa anche da ristorante . Nel parcheggio ci sono bagni pubblici puliti sempre aperti con acqua calda. Punto di partenza ideale per diverse escursioni nel paradiso slovacco. Noi ci siamo fermati una notte, ma è possibile fermarsi anche più notti. Vicino c’è anche un bar buffet per fare aperitivo e diversi rifugi con anche parco gioco. Ci siamo sentiti sicuri.
Wenn man nach fünf kommt, ist niemand mehr da zum bezahlen. Ab neun/zehn Uhr sitzt jemand in der Einfahrt und möchte 5€. Toilette hatte auf. Viel Durchgangsverkehr zum Hotel gegenüber. Von dort kann man super zum Wandern starten.
Un peu plus bas en suivant le chemin, nous avons trouvé un petit parking gratuit près d'un bar (qui loue également du matériel de Via Ferata). Nous y avons passés 2 nuits sans souci, en nous mettant un peu dans l'herbe. Il peut y avoir du monde la journée et un peu d'animation le soir venant d'un autre bar de l'autre côté de la rivière. Très belles randonnées à faire !
