Very quiet spot with lovely view of the sea. Thought there would be traffic passing but hardly any. Had a very peaceful night's sleep, some dog walkers and joggers in the morning.
Nous nous sommes garés ici, sur le front de mer, à 20 h 41, un dimanche férié. Il n'y a pas de panneaux ni de restrictions pour les nuitées. Il y a un hôtel en face pour la nourriture et les boissons. Il y avait également 2 autres camping-cars et camping-cars garés ici.
Parked up here on the seafront at 8.41pm on a bank holiday Sunday. There are no signs or restrictions for overnight stays. There’s a hotel opposite for food and drinks. There was 2 other campervan & motorhomes parked here as well.
An einem Feiertagssonntag um 20:41 Uhr hier an der Strandpromenade geparkt. Es gibt keine Schilder oder Einschränkungen für Übernachtungen. Gegenüber gibt es ein Hotel mit Essen und Getränken. Hier waren auch noch zwei weitere Camper und Wohnmobile geparkt.
Aparcamos aquí, en el paseo marítimo, a las 20:41 h de un domingo festivo. No hay señales ni restricciones para pernoctar. Hay un hotel enfrente que ofrece comida y bebida. También había otras dos autocaravanas y autocaravanas aparcadas aquí.

JimmyCricket4725/09/2025Really nice spot, spaces are really shallow so doubt that a motorhome could fit here. 10 minute walk into Whitstable. Beware that the parking spaces further towards the pool are not the councils and charge overnight!
griffonnoir22/08/2025Même en août on peut avoir une place ici , ce qui fut mon cas , celle plus au fond à gauche devant l’ hôtel .Une surface plane, une superbe vue, un accès à la plage immédiat , un port surprenant de créativité et de couleurs .Magnifique endroit
lauradclarke13/07/2025Great if you can get a spot. Had to reverse a 7m motorhome out on first try (dead end). Came back later and got one of the end spots which was perfect and relatively flat. Free after 9pm. Pay from 8.30am £2.60 an hour. Right on the beach and promenade.

This is a great spot. Free after 21:00 and then parking charges apply from the app from 08:30. Some of the spaces are not very deep but we are a small van so had no issue. It’s opposite a hotel where the food and drinks are really good. They closed at 23:00 for non hotel guests. We also got take away coffees in the morning and used their toilets. Really close to town centre. Could hear runners / dog walkers in the morning but wasn’t a big issue for us.
TiredRob01/02/2025Nice park up although not all bays are big enough for motorhomes. Paid £1.80 as you have to pay during the hours of 8.30 - 9pm (2.40 per hour). Convenient for a walk into town. Also right on the beach. It was quiet until around 7.30am, then you hear the occasional jogger/dog walkers but on the whole a nice park up. As mentioned, there is also a small hotel opposite for food drink if you want it.
