Nous mettons à votre disposition un parking gratuit, propre et accessible 24h/24 et 7j/7, en échange de quelques verres ou d'un repas au pub. Si vous souhaitez faire une pause ou si des amis vous accompagnent, nous proposons également des chambres confortables sur place. We are Brigette and John Martin, and we would love to welcome you to our cozy, family-run country pub, located right along the beautiful River Nore. It’s the perfect spot to relax after a day of driving and experience some authentic Tipperary hospitality in a warm, friendly, and laid-back atmosphere.
We offer free parking on a clean, hard surface with 24/7 access, simply in return for joining us for a few drinks or a bite to eat at the pub. If you ever fancy a break from the road or have friends joining you, we also offer comfortable rooms on-site, so feel free to reach out to us directly to book a stay!

Ofrecemos aparcamiento gratuito en una superficie limpia y pavimentada, con acceso las 24 horas, a cambio de que nos acompañen a tomar algo o a comer en el pub. È il luogo perfetto per rilassarsi dopo una giornata di guida e sperimentare l'autentica ospitalità del Tipperary in un'atmosfera calda, amichevole e rilassata.
Offriamo parcheggio gratuito su una superficie pulita e pavimentata, con accesso 24 ore su 24, 7 giorni su 7, semplicemente in cambio di un drink o di uno spuntino al pub. Se desiderate fare una pausa dalla strada o se avete amici che vi vengono a trovare, offriamo anche camere confortevoli in loco, quindi non esitate a contattarci direttamente per prenotare un soggiorno!

Wij zijn Brigette en John Martin en we heten u van harte welkom in onze gezellige, door een familie gerunde pub, gelegen aan de prachtige rivier de Nore. Het is de perfecte plek om te ontspannen na een dag autorijden en te genieten van authentieke Tipperary-gastvrijheid in een warme, vriendelijke en ontspannen sfeer.
We bieden gratis parkeergelegenheid op een schone, verharde ondergrond met 24/7 toegang, in ruil voor een drankje of een hapje in de pub. what a absolute fantastic time here with Bridget and John Martin. no messing, it's a field. excellent hosts, so friendly that after 2 nights it's hard to say goodbye. nothing was to much trouble we'll definitely be back. we really enjoyed the night market. so many people were here for that, Bridget was such an attentive host. beautiful people ❤️ Josie & Jerome
Eine sehr freundliche Begrüßung. Stehen hinter dem Pub auf einem geraden Platz. Wir werden dort essen gehen und ein kühles Bier geniessen. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung.
Stayed overnight with my son. The owners and locals were lovely people. We parked up our van and enjoyed a few drinks and a nice pizza (and ice cream on the house). I would highly recommend if in the area.
Fantastic overnight stay. Very friendly accommodated our 7.5m motorhome no issue. Would definitely recommend.
We saw the reviews and came for one night. Bridgette is a great host and the dinner was delicious. We couldn't have been made more welcome, considering it's a free stop, but we did enjoy the pub hospitality and food. We sat with our feet in the river in the afternoon sun listening to the birds, then Bridgette brought us something to feed the goats and donkeys with. A very nice place all round.
j'ai vu un commentaire qui proposait de mettre 6 étoiles. pour moi c'est 1000 étoiles. nous n'avons jamais était aussi bien accueilli qu'ici. le lieu est chaleureux et authentique... nous avons était reçu par Bridget comme des amis le dinner était très bon et le lieu calme et propre. nous recommandons les yeux fermés
I would give a 6 star if possible . Very good food , quality and quantity. Same for the hostess Brigette, she is a very good hostess, social and caring without over doing it. When, not if, we come back to Ireland this will be our first stop and last stop of our vacation. The camper place is clean and quiet and if there are no clouds you can count the stars iso sheep. We had a lovely stay here. Arrived on a Sunday evening and had a delicious dinner of Bacon & Cabbage with rice pudding for dessert. Staff were amazing and the locals were very welcoming and friendly! Bridget the propieter was extremely welcoming and accommodating! Very safe and welcoming over all! Will definitely come back.
I have no words to express my gratitude to Briggite. A charming, helpful, and loving woman. She made my time in the pub's parking lot an unforgettable experience. She helped me manage some unexpected problems with optimism and hospitality. Feeling at home when you're so far away is something to always value and appreciate. Thank you so much for making it so easy without expecting anything in return. I 100% recommend stopping by this place and enjoying the delicious food. Thanks again for everything.

Erster Tag mit Camper in Irland unterwegs und telefonisch angefragt ob eine Übernachtung spontan möglich wäre. Wir wurden herzlichst!!! am offenen Kamin mit Roastbeef und smashed Potatoes begrüßt. Hilfsbereit wurde uns sofort geholfen(bei Fragen von weniger erfahrenen Campern) . 5 Sterne mehr als verdient.

Parfait !!! nous avons été présent pour l'ouverture du pub un moment agréable et surprise de Brigette au fourgon, un excellent crumble.☺
A warm and genuine welcome, to match the warmth of the turf fire ! A generous and very tasty Beef casserole went down well with the good beer and wine . Met a lot of locals ! And just an observation there wasn’t a phone to be seen , people were chatting to each other and were interested in each other. We will be back !!
Great craic and lovely welcome , loads of locals in for the match, good bit of banter, felt right at home. we had dinner, lovely beef casserole with mash, very tasty. good Guinness too.
Lovely pub in a very pretty village, and Brigette is such a welcoming host! We enjoyed great hospitality, a roaring fire and homemade pizza from the pub kitchen. There's a recently installed (I think?) EHU point, which meant I could keep my campervan warm overnight with my low-watt radiator. A real bonus for winter camping for those of us without heating.
A hidden gem! Such a cozy and welcoming spot. We received a warm welcome, enjoyed tasty food, fresh drinks, and even got a seat by the fire. The pub is spotless and homely, and Bridgette and her family couldn’t have done more for us and our young kids. Free overnight parking. Our children loved chatting with the locals, petting Penny the dog, and playing pool - such a lovely experience all round!

We received a very warm welcome from Brigitte, John and their daughter, Hannah. We were copiously fed and watered, well, it was Guinness. We sat beside a turf fire and joined in with the general merriment in the bar. We spent a peaceful night in the car park and enjoyed a lovely countryside stroll in the morning. John introduced us to his beautiful foals and pygmy goats, which we loved!

Brigette and her daughter Grace were so friendly and welcoming. Nice walk along the stream but sadly no dogs allowed. However, BEWARE, ignore sat nav, Google etc and only use the L7057 to get there from the main road, the other roads in are toooo narrow.
Sense cap mena de dubte recomanem parar al pub de la Brigette. Ella i la seva familia son encantadores, ens han ofert de tot i hem pogut parlar amb molts locals i fer-nos amigues de la Penny! El lloc és molt tranquil i hem pogut utilitzar els lavabos al matí. Ens hem sentit com a casa!
We spent a nice evening in the pub and the food was delicious. Brigette was very friendly. We parked in the pub car park and the night was very quiet. We also walked alongside the North River. We strongly recommend this welcoming location!
Hem parat de camí a la costa est. Familia encantadora! Hem fet unes cerveses i ens ha tret unes patates i unes pizzes. Hem estat la mar de bé mentre els nens jugaven a billar. A les 7h matí t'obre la porta perquè puguis anar al wc. gràcies família!
Brigid was really helpful and friendly - the bar was quiet with a few locals - I enjoyed a couple of pints by the fire (cosy even though it was probably unnecessary as it was July!) plenty of parking available when I was there, and very quiet.
Nous avons passé un doux moment. Brigett nous a fait a mangé un repas familial, mon fils s’est régalé. Le pub est super mignon et l’accueil est juste parfait. Brigett adore les enfants et fais tout pour qu’on se sente heureux ❤️ je serais resté très longtemps si le temps ne nous manquait pas. Nous repartons le cœur rempli de joie ? et je clame à tout le monde de passer par là pour se sentir en joie.

après la visite de killkenny et avoir vu le parking impersonnel sur place, nous sommes allés dans le pub de Brigeth et avons dormi sur place. au top! Elle est super sympa et la nuit a été super calme!
Un lugar magnífico, muy bonito y con una atención perfecta. Son personas muy amables y atentas. El público que regenta el bar también son muy amigables y formidables. ¡RECOMENDABLE!
Had a lovely evening here, few quiet drinks and Bridget and the locals were all very welcoming and enjoyed the chats with them. Lovely lil Penny, sat on my lap most of the evening, beautiful dog. Did the Source of the Nore River walk the next day with was great to fill the lungs with fresh air. Great place to stop and break up the journey.
What a lovely place! We had some drinks, pizza and even got blankets for keeping us warm while sitting outside. And we truely enjoyed talking to the the locals. What a warm welcome on our first night in Ireland. This is what makes this country so special!
Brigette came out shortly after we arrived, welcomed us warmly and gave us the options of where to park. We later spent a pleasant couple of hours in the pub, chatting with Brigette, her daughter and some of the locals. We will happily return if in the area.
Super. Es wurde alles in den anderen Kommentaren schon gesagt. Wir übernachteten auf dem Hof des Pubs. Die auf den Fotos gezeigte Wiese war geschlossen Auf dem Hof hing ein Schild Motorhome Parking und darunter die Telefon Nummer
Wir wurden mit offenen Armen empfangen. Eine Gastfreundschaft wie sie hier herrscht wird man selten woanders finden. Brigitte ist einfach die Beste. Danke für alles
es ist eine Empfehlung für jeden der hier vorbei kommt die Besitzerin ist super herzlich die Gegend sicher und die Leute aus dem Dorf sehr nett wer hier gern noch etwas trinken und essen will ist hier gut aufgehoben die irischen Pub sandwitch sind sehr gut und mal etwas anderes es ist nur zu empfehlen hier

We arrived without booking and were given a lovely warm welcome. We parked in the pub car park (the field did not seem to be in use) which was fine and we were not disturbed. There is a warm atmosphere in the pub and we enjoyed a great evening with the locals. Recommended for an overnight stop.

Great little place. Free to park if you give them some custom. Couldn’t be friendlier, an absolute gem. They don’t do food, but sure they’ll make you a sandwich.
what an amazing g lady greeted us with such warmth. Even though she was not open she even took us in for a cuppa and a chat. Thankyou Bridget tour lovely.
Smashing little spot with a great pub, open fire, cold Guinness, and wonderful hosts. Park by the bubbling river, and walk upstream into lovely peaceful countryside. Thanks to Brigette, John, and the locals for making us so welcome.
Amazing host, pulled in quite late with out campervan and she immediately came to us saying we could stay there overnight and helped us park. Had a nice drink and all the locals were very nice. Would definitely recommend if you are on your way through.
L accueil de la patronne Brigitte est incroyable. Elle a à cœur de faire plaisir. Un super moment au coin du feu accompagné d une guiness en compagnie des locaux tout aussi accueillants. Stayed for one night in July - great little pub in a lovely quiet village. Will be back!

Absolutely ace. Family owned lovely pub. Owners let you set up and you can then enjoy few pints with locals by the open fire. It’s a safe haven if you travel alone or two women. Also, it is dog friendly.
