Camping&Yachts is een fantastische stadscamping naast de rivier de Daugava, met een eigen aanlegsteiger voor boten en jachten. De camping biedt een onvergetelijk uitzicht op de skyline van Riga, en de service die hier wordt geboden is van hoge kwaliteit voor zowel u als uw camper. We zijn een camping die onze gasten waardeert. Vriendelijk personeel zal zorgen voor iedereen die op de camping verblijft. We bieden onze gasten volop genot op het dek en een romantische boottocht vanaf onze ligplaats naar het hart van Riga. Adembenemende uitzichten die emoties losmaken, zullen u Riga laten zien door een compleet andere prisma. Gasten van de camping hebben toegang tot een bus die hen meeneemt op een rondleiding door Riga. Als gasten hun eigen fietsen hebben, is het nog makkelijker om naar de oude stad te gaan. Elke gast is bijzonder welkom om samen met ongehaast van de romantiek van de stad Riga te genieten en de zonsondergang te bewonderen aan de oevers van de rivier de Daugava.

Very nice campsite divided into 3 areas. Directly behind the dune, about 20m from the beach, there are tent and motorhome pitches, some of which are under trees, there are a few hammocks lovingly placed there, and the reception can be found in a caravan. There are incredibly beautiful and undisturbed pitches under trees, some with a sea view, an insider tip for smaller campers! About 20 m further away is a pavilion with sockets to charge the campers' smartphones and also for rainy weather. There are also spacious, beautiful showers, sinks and sinks. On the meadow a little further away from the beach, towards the entrance, there is a large motorhome and caravan site, which will also find an undisturbed place here. All have a power connection. At the end of the meadows there are a few fantastic huts that the site operator built himself and can be rented. As befits the outdoors, the toilets are pit toilets that are very clean and ventilated. The sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day and the entire site is in a very well-maintained condition. As I have seen so far throughout the Baltics, the beaches are very clean because everyone takes their dirt back with them. About 5 kilometers before the entrance to the campsite there is a small shop on the left where you should stock up on provisions. At the campsite itself, the water from the tap is filtered well water, but it contains minerals, which is why the site owner sells drinking water in 5L canisters. We enjoy the walk to the beach and snack through the Mirabelle pears and apple trees. Every day we are on the huge, almost deserted beach (yesterday, Sunday, August 21st, with 28 degrees and sun, we met over 50 people on our 2-3 km walk on the beach?). Today, Monday, at 23 degrees, we met exactly 6 people and 2 dogs over 4 km. We actually only wanted to stay for 1-2 days, now it's been a week and we're getting lost in time and space.
