Free parking next to the Blue Flag bathing lake. The main parking lot has barriers, but a smaller parking lot for 3 or 4 motorhomes next to the main entrance. nice clear water for an early morning dip. on the side of the road, but perfect for a short stay

Der Hauptparkplatz verfügt über Schranken, neben dem Haupteingang gibt es jedoch einen kleineren Parkplatz für 3 oder 4 Wohnmobile. Schönes klares Wasser für ein frühmorgendliches Bad. am Straßenrand gelegen, aber perfekt für einen kurzen Aufenthalt

Spot avec une magnifique vue sur le lac au réveil. Un monsieur très sympathique qui semble aimer discuter avec les voyageurs s'est arrêté pour échanger un peu. Le petit bémol c'est la route assez passante juste à côté, mais la vitesse est limitée à 50.
Grundsätzlich ein sehr schöner Stellplatz. Man steht jedoch direkt an einer Strasse welche viel befahren ist und der Strassenlärm ist aufgrund des Belags enorm. Zusätzlich hatte es einige Raser unterwegs am Abend welche mit absurder Geschwindigkeit an uns vorbei schossen und auf dem benachbarten Parkplatz gedrifftet sind. Wir sind dann weitergezogen.
Sehr schöner Platz am See. Platz für maximal 5 Campers. Der richtige Parkplatz hat eine Höhenbeschränkung. Man kann gut Baden gehen das Wasser ist sehr klar auch nach Regen.(Keine Hunde im Wasser erlaubt). Man hört einfach den Strassenlärm sehr lange spät in den Abend und wir wurden von einem Typen der eine mobile Sauna am Auto hatte weggeschickt weil der unbedingt da quer parkieren wollte.
el lugar es muy bonito, pero se oyen los coches pasar (y pasan super rápidos). además, a la mañana, sobre las 10 llegaron unos tipos que tienen negocios de kajak y sauna, forzando casi a que nos fuéramos.
Great park up ,right on the edge of the lake ,room for 5/6 .Lifeguards on in summer small sandy beach toilets and showers changing area basic .long walk around the edge of the lake .Only downside the road noise an odd car at night gets busier in the morning !
Wie beschrieben kostenlos und es passen problemlos 6-7m Länge auf den Parkplatz. Da der Wind meistens vom See kommt ist vorwärts parken zu empfehlen. Der Verkehr hat nicht gestört, lag aber vermutlich am starken Wind. Duschen lauwarm mit wenig Druck, solala sauber, aber ok für gratis! WCs waren eklig, da sollte man autark sein. Am See ist viel los mit Schwimmen & Picknicks. Ganze Nacht beleuchtet
Kostenloser Parkplatz ohne Höhenbeschränkung. Direkt am See. Da Ortsnah und in der Nähe des örtlichen Badestrandes relativ viel Verkehr und Einheimische.
très belle place en bord de lac avec des aménagements agréables (toilettes et douche chaude gratuite à proximité). Il y a également possibilité de se baigner dans le lac (baignade surveillée). Par contre, la route est très passante, bruyante, sans parler des véhicules qui font du rallye la nuit et ceux qui claxonnent volontairement le matin à 6h (nous y étions un samedi soir).
petit parking en bord de route assez passante.... mais la nuit une fois endormies ça nous a pas empêchés de passer une bonne nuit,si vous souhaitez le calme parfait ne pas vous arreter la car il ya aussi des jeunes qui se baignent plus loin et on les entend bien. vue super sympa sur le lac, visite de canards et cygnes,les WC et douches gratuits sont ouverts de 8h30 à 21h45,ils étaient propres .
parking spot right next to the lake. we stayed for one night. the facilities where open but not the cleanest so we used our own bathroom in the van. the road is right next to the parking lot and with frequency traffic. we would suggest that you park with the rear to the water. the view onto the water is amazing.
Had to remove a star for the road noise and for the youth that parked and threw all their litter from their car. - yes I expected noise it but it truly is a noisy road surface and speeding vehicles. The location is otherwise superb- there are even showers and toilets open from May 1sr for the summer. Great to see families enjoying swimming in the lake
Pernocté aquí durante una noche, junto con otra camper que había, espacio para 4 autocaravanas o así, se escuchan bastantes coches pasar e incluso algún coche haciendo drift hacia las 22h, pero la verdad que más tarde no se escucharon más coches, noche tranquila.
Stayed here overnight with no problems, road was busy but we slept perfect,lake has a life guard and alot of swimmers as the water is stunning and so clear, we were kayaking and swimming also, locals are friendly, highly recommend
Très jolie vue, sympa pour s'arrêter manger, accessible, pas de problème pour dormir la nuit, mais si vous voulez passer une nuit, sachez que la route est très passante, c'est une grande ligne droite donc les gens passent très vite et cela fait beaucoup de bruit surtout un samedi soir !
Superbe spot au bord d’un lac. Jolie coucher de soleil … des gens nagent même au printemps. On croise des cygnes , des canards … les enfants ont apprécié l’endroit. Gros point négatif la route juste à côté très bruyante dès 5h du matin .
Super Aussicht, auch mit 8m kein Problem. Fantastischer See, absolut zu empfehlen für ein kaltes Bad. Etwas laut durch die Schnellstraße unmittelbar am Platz. Scheint sehr beliebt zu sein.
As other users say, it is right off a fairly main road which has a lot of traffic from 7:30am - 10:30pm. But it’s lovely you’re so close to the water you can hear it lapping and have lovely views. Up to you if you decide you are ok with the noise or not. There were a few cars pulling up and people chatting but the last left around 11pm.
Aparcamiento con vistas espectaculares al atardecer. Tranquilo aunque si te molestan el ruido de los coches puede no ser tu sitio ideal. Hay cisnes que se te acercan para que les des de comer.
Am 30.09.23 waren die Duschen, Toiletten etc. geschlossen. Wasser konnte man unter wenig Druck an einer Station in einen Kanister füllen.
Can stay overnight, no charge. Toilet block and showers available (we didn't need to use).Beautiful views across the loch and husband went for a dip the following morning. Highly recommend for view but yes there is a road which strangely enough has cars using it! It's lovely here. Only 3 motorhomes/campers used this last night, room for another one.
We spent a nice quiet night, lovely walk with the dog in the morning. It was just us.
Bel emplacement et très belle vue juste devant le lac, on peut se baigner. Toilettes publiques très propres et douches à disposition, la route en effet est bruyante ( ok entre 11:00 et 7:30)
There was a triathlon happening on the next morning so there were a few other campers with participants for the triathlon. I dont know how crowded it will get on a regular night. Although right next to the road we felt safe. free showers and toilets during daytime. A lot of people walking and swimming.
Apart from road noise it's a great stop for day or overnight. The water is clean for swimming, no fishing allowed. Public toilets as you walk around by the other car park. Walk to Loughrea town 2mins easy. Great stop for leisure.
cadre très agréable au bord du lac mais la route est très passante à partir de 7h30, les voitures roulent vite et c'est très bruyant. Préférez donc un départ matinal. Une voiture, musique à fond est venue stationner à côté de notre van en pleine nuit mais j'imagine que c'est exceptionnel...
Toilets were open 8:30 am to 9:45 pm, there are also showers within the toilet block albeit tepid. The road noise was awful and didn’t quieten down until midnight and started again at 5am. Great view, nice lake to swim in and only a 1.5 km from the town centre but the road noise is horrendous
Despite the sign says the toilets are open from Monday to Sunday from 8:30am to 9:45pm, I arrived Saturday 9pm they were closed and left 9:30am on Sunday and they still closed.
Easy to find good view. Three camper vans here and room for a couple more. It’s a useful place and not too far from town.

Impossible de se garer avec un van de 2,5m. Nous sommes allés ailleurs.
Although on a fairly busy road it did not disturb us. The parking was outside the car park with the height barrier so all ok.
Campervan parking on level ground facing the lake with the roadway right behind you. The carpark has a 6 ft barrier and is locked at night. Fantastic swimming area with lifeguard in Blue Flag lake. Toilets and changing rooms. A lovely local development by county council The campervan parking does not have any "no camping" signs and is not overlooked by any houses.
L’emplacement est à proximité d’une route qui est relativement passante et où les voitures y roulent vite. Nous avons été embêté par un groupe de jeune à 4h, nous avons préféré changer de spot en pleine nuit. Je déconseille.
