Lovely spot for an overnight. Very busy car park during the day but empties out a bit in the evening. Maybe 10 or 12 other campers overnighting here on the Saturday night. Lots of bins but they were all full. The hotel is a 10 minute walk and does good food. Gaynor's pub for drinks and Hamiltons have a small shop with most of the basics.

Bon emplacement pour une nuit en étape. Très agréable de se réveiller face au fjord... Un peu bruyant à cause de la route mais on a passé une bonne nuit quand même. Poubelle le long du parking et pubs en face.

Nous y avons dormi une nuit en van. Parking gratuit. Pas de limitation de hauteur. Nous avons passé une soirée sympa au pub à côté. Je me suis sentie en sécurité. Un peu de bruit avec la route.

Nous n’y sommes pas restés la nuit, seulement pour le temps du goûter. T’es agréable avec une vue superbe ! En face, le musée propose un café et des toilettes très propres

Parcheggio lato strada con una bella vista sul fiordo. Notte tranquilla senza alcun disturbo. unico neo: le auto iniziano intorno alle 6 a passare, ma il traffico non è intenso. Si può stare tranquillamente di notte a dormire.

Lekker geslapen tot 7.00 uur helaas heel veel zwaar vracht verkeer, je zit direct aan een doorgande weg. Wel een heel mooie uitzicht en een winkel in de buurt en ook (2) Pub's.

Prachtig uitzicht! Wij stonden met veel campers bij elkaar. Het was slecht weer. Het waaide flink en regende telkens. Wij hebben nauwelijks geslapen door o.a. het geluid zo dicht bij het water. Alle luiken moesten dicht om ze heel te houden. Deze plaats kun je met sterke wind beter mijden.

Pongo 4* porque esta muy expuesto a viento/lluvia. Encontramos el sitio de casualidad, ya que tuvimos que cambiar de planes en ruta. Lugar perfecto y a pocos km de Kylemore Abey. Los pubs geniales, cierran cocinas a las 21h. Llegamos tarde, así que, nos alimentamos a Guinness…

Fantástico lugar para pasar una noche. Preciosas vistas y tranquilo. Pubs y tiendas muy cerca.

Lovely peaceful spot on the harbour with loads of room. A few more motorhomes there. Lovely meal at nearby hotel. Good value and great service. Choice of two fine pubs near parking spot. Couple of nice pints with friendly service. Incredibly beautiful location at Killary Harbour, Leenaun ticks all the boxes.

Noche tranquila. Hay un pub para cenar comida fresca y casera, y otro para beber cerveza. Gente muy agradable.

Good spot with a couple of parking options. Good café and gift shop ( Connemara Sheep and Wool Centre) with friendly staff and clean toilets.

We stayed up the road from here but moved down the next morning, great space to park, good toilets in the cafe opposite and beautiful location! Big tourist spot though with a good few coaches.

Lovely spot with pub and shop opposite. If it were up to french standards with a service point I’d give it 4 stars and if there were a dedicated point for campers to park 5 star. At night the traffic is almost nonexistent so very quiet.

Beautiful location right next to the fjord. Pub opposite with small shop for essentials. Peaceful night, popular with other vans & lots of day trippers.

Espectacular vistas al fiordo. Mucho paso de coches y autobuses, pero un buen estacionamiento para pasar un rato observando la belleza de la naturaleza y tomar una rica sopa en los bares de la carretera pasado el puente. (15/5)

Belle vue sur le Fjord ; tri sélectif à proximité ; une poubelle. Nous avons bu une bière au Gaynor’s bar, très bon accueil. Cependant la route est passante et bruyante de bonne heure le matin. Après on ne peut pas tout avoir les commerces à proximité et le calme

Spaces a bit small but otherwise fabulous. We ate in Hamiltons and the food was fantastic (seafood chowder is my recommendation). Lovely outlook from the car park. Small bins plus recycling.

Gratuit et sans barre de hauteur ! Une borne d’eau potable face au Gaynor’s pub. Ne manquez pas le pub où a été tourné the field , ni la petite boutique en face the Forge. Les gens sont très aimables.

Amazing park up over looking the fjord. Good food in the local pub and tasty pints. No noise at night

Lovely view and very easy to park up. It was a windy night and the location is a bit exposed if it's very windy. Got takeaway from the pub. They allow dogs in too if you are having a beer or food.

No bother at all. No traffic in mid November. Friendly locals, water tap opposite pub. Looking forward to seeing the view in the morning.

Great view but right on the road side which is busy until late at night. Surrounded by pubs and coaches. Waste disposal facilities are useful though.

Gratuit, de la place même pour les campings cars, pas de limites de hauteur, présence de poubelles, boutique souvenir juste à côté et magnifique vue sur le paysage! Nous avons préféré nous isoler sur un autre spot car il y avait trop de monde.

Lovely small town with 2 pubs, shop. Food excellent in Hamiltons. Prob best to park in other car park( recycling lorry very noisy early morning. Stayed a thur night & counted 11 campers . No facilities other than recycling banks but well worth a stop over

Super parking avec jolie vue sur le fjord et les monts alentours. Parking proche de la route mais tres calme pour la nuit. Un restaurant de fruit de mer de qualité juste à 2 min et un pub à côté qui vaut le détour. Également, se trouve en face le musée de la laine avec café et WC qui ouvre à 9h30.

lovely free parking site. wellington pub serves delicious food and drinks. great views. recommend a one night stay here. no facilities just rubbish and recycling bins.

De la place pour pas mal de véhicule avec une belle vue sur le fjord, deux pub juste à côté et la nourriture et excellente au Hamilton !

Merci pour les commentaires précédents car en effet super spot la vue est magnifique. Poubelles, bulles à verre, et eau proche (en face du pub). De la place pour véhicules de 6 m et terrain plat. Le Pub Gaynor's Bar est vraiment sympa pour boire une bière autour du feu.

Superbe vue. Pub authentique. Traffic assez dense sur la route à partir de 8h00. Prenez le breakfast chez Purple door, c'est très bon. A proximité du départ du bateau pour visiter le fjord et de la ferme (killary sheep farm) pour la démonstration de chiens de troupeaux et de tonte de mouton. Aucun service.

Great views. Quiet enough night but does get busy in the morning. especially if you are parked down the recycling bins area with people disposing of their glass. Couple of pubs in the town and a fire hydrant to fill up with water. 4G on three

Very quiet in early November as museum closed. Some traffic till about 10pm and early morning. No facilities but cafe and pub are nearby and a local shop. Please support them, they are very good. Public water tap opposite the bar was still working at time of our visit but it is on a busy junction so perhaps only good for portable water containers.

Stayed here one night. The traffic stopped going past at about 9pm and it was a quiet night. The first truck came past at about 5am and then one about every half hour until 8am. Don't park in or by the bus lanes! School bus turns up at 7am and leaves engine running for half an hour. Gaynors is a proper pub, the Blackberry is not really worth bothering with. Great veiw up the lough though.

5 stars for a 3 star location. Amazing views. Nice town with pub and restaurants/cafes. But parking is immediately on the N59. Little cars after midnight. About 8 other vans stayed here Monday night in August.

The black berry restaurant has first class food and wine at reasonable prices and Hamilton's bar is spot on

Perfect for one night

Super endroit pour passer la nuit, avec 6 Camping car Vans lors de notre passage. Route assez passagère de jour dont des troupeaux de moutons. Pas de services mais 4 Pubs dont un restaurant super le Bkackberry. J'ai pu manger une super soupe locale aux saumons et langoustines suivie d'un Irish Stew du Connemera, pour le soir s'était très copieux et bon marché.

Très bon endroit pour passer une nuit sur la Connemara Loop. Il y a de nombreux bus touristiques en journée mais très calme la nuit. Il y a des poubelles et recyclage possible.

Bien mais avons été ennuyés par un couple de jeunes qui voulait 30 € pour mettre du carburant. Il nous disait qu’il nous rembourserai le matin mais nous avons lu d’autres commentaires ayant eu le même problème. Nous avons cependant passé la nuit sans souci après avoir refusé

Parking au bout du fjord. Belle vue et calme malgré la proximité de la route. Pas de service mais Pub sympa à côté.

Nous avons passé la nuit. Belle vue. Nous avons été dans un des 2 pubs juste à côté, très sympa avec un musicien local qui a mis une bonne ambiance. Nous sommes partis très vite le lendemain matin car les bus touristiques arrivent en masse sur le parking car il y a le musée du mouton. Mais pour la nuit c'est très tranquille.

Vue superbe sur le fjord. Il y a deux parkings à 30 mètres d'intervalle. Aucun service, mais il y a deux pubs dont un très sympa, un petit troquet pour le petit déjeuner, le musée/boutique de la laine. Du passage, beaucoup, en effet la journée, mais la nuit c'est bien suffisamment calme pour dormir, juste la lumière des lampadaires, mais la vue vaut bien ce prix.

Étape pour une nuit, circulation la journée mais la nuit pas gênant. Cafés à côté, restaurants et musée. Des moutons juste à côté du musée. Petite épicerie pour dépanner. Vue magnifique sur le Fjord en cas de beau temps
