IndraGoold26/05/2023Arrived this morning, height barrier up, very disappointed. Cant get in even during the day, no parking outside the barrier.
Wanderlust6419/09/2022Now has a 'No Camping' sign at the entrance. Great place to spend time walking at the lake or having a picnic. A peaceful spot with lots of swans on the lough Bins provided and good mobile signal.
Zach4514/08/2022Excellent free spot. Portaloos and bins on site. The height barrier is not enforced. At least 200 cars MHs here on a lovely summer weekend. Music around campfires went on late with families/friends enjoying themselves and restarted after 0900 next day. Great place to fish. A must on our list.

andrew72718/10/2020Stunning lakeside view. 7’6” Height barrier locked OPEN, so no height restriction. On reaching the Lough shore car park at the end of the road, turn right and pick a lake-side spot! Idyllic! One Gardai patrol seen at dusk. Enough cars drifting past for security, without undermining the tranquility. Well worth a detour!
