There is a new car park with height restriction so not suitable for motorhomes. I don't think the height is on the barrier. There used to be an accessible car park close to the marina but it's now closed as they are building a water sports centre. The only suitable parking is in the layby which is close by (near the swimming pool) which gets full in the summer.
there is a new(ish) carpark the next turn over. not visible on Google maps yet but it's for cars only though as there are height restrictions to get in. no signs anywhere apart from one to tell you that the street lights are not in action and to take care. 2nd night, the guards did come in that car park, stopped briefly then drove away.(possibly running my number plate but wasn't approached)

just arrived , nice quiet spot , only camper here. very little noise from road traffic. Great river walk.
Nice spot overlooking marina. Lovely walk down the canal. Downside:- beside main road. Also play park is very busy with kids till 7:30. Limited parking spaces. Be courteous to cars when you park.
