Landed around mid afternoon and had the carpark all to myself. From here there are plenty of outdoor pursuits set in beautiful countryside. walks, bike trails, playing fields, dog cafe and toilets all within 5 minutes.
Parking dans le parc paysager, autrefois utilisé pour promener les chiens. Plus calme que le parking à l'arrière, où les jeunes passaient la soirée. Table de pique-nique et forêt.
Promenades fantastiques et un viaduc du XIXe siècle forment un décor pittoresque.
Parking in the country park used to walk dogs. Quieter than the parking lot at the back where young people spent the evening. Table of picnic and forest.
Fantastic walks and a 19th century viaduct makes a picturesque backdrop.
Der Parkplatz im Landschaftspark wurde früher zum Gassigehen mit Hunden genutzt. Ruhiger als der Parkplatz dahinter, wo junge Leute abends ihren Abend verbrachten. Picknicktisch und Wald.
Fantastische Spazierwege und ein Viadukt aus dem 19. Jahrhundert bilden eine malerische Kulisse.

MichaelPeacock14/05/2023as with other comments, the end near the park is noisey until about 9/10pm, but good to chill out near the water/field/child's park. we then moved halfway down as pictured already, but the tariffs are slightly different... mainly 10pm-9am free of charge. was super quiet after 9ish and fell asleep and woke up to the birds

Tagsüber recht busy, nachts und morgens herrlich ruhig. Nur wenig wirklich ebener Platz deswegen nur vier Sterne. Mit Abfalleimer.

Stayed here last night, arrived at 8pm and left before 10am. Very quiet and we weren’t bothered by anyone. Large campervan also stayed the night.

Good quiet spot. we arrived after 8pm and was gone by 10 am in a large motor home with no problems at all

Super peaceful night, surrounded by beautiful trees. Picnic table and benches nearby. Free parking between 8pm and 10am. Dog-walkers arriving in the carpark from about 7am. No trouble or bother from anyone.

Fantastic place to overnight park! Quiet, no need to pay, beautiful walks close by. Spot on! Highly recommend.

Great place to park and camp overnight. Three other camper vans stayed in the area. We stayed here for two nights no problems at all. Never paid for parking. Police came by once and no issue what so ever.

Great place for overnight stay, I done a stealth camp in my Ford kuga with my 21 week old pup and we loved every minute of it, right next to the beach, great woodland walks, and cafe in the main car park, and not to far to walk into Barry (which was a lovely place to visit) all in all great first stealth camp! the toilets are closed from around 6pm ish

Parked here in our large motorhome for the night no problem. Drove up to the main car park and decided to come back to this one as seems more discreet and closer for walking in to Barry. Had a couple of cars park up but just appeared to be harmless youths canoodling. Make sure to remember to pay to start parking at 10 AM when car park officially opens. Highly recommend for a wild spot!

The main car park is very tight for a LWB and the overflow section has narrow entry poles and a tricky angle, not good for a wide (aka Ducato) frame. This smaller parking area before the main one is more discreet, away from boy racer/stoner types and quiet. Limited 4g signal, fine with booster aerial. -Leave NO trace -Choose plant-based

Lovely spot. The ticket machine is currently covered up, which is a bonus. Possibly a Covid thing?
