Perfect camper-van stop with very secluded quiet grass parking for under 2.1m or nearer the road if over that height. Very nice riverside path to the village with riverside pub and beautiful village centre, with an absolutely stunning fish restaurant and excellent Italian food shop. £10.20 for 24hrs on ringgo.
Motorhomers do not park here the bays are not defined and some parts are not marked at all you think you are parking out of the way to not cause a problem but you are there is number plate camera in place
Be AWARE, DO NOT PARK HERE. We received a £60 fine for parking here because we were not in a marked bay even though not all bays are marked. This car park has number plate recognition.
We are 2.7 meters and although we wouldn’t fit under the height restriction barrier, there were plenty of other spaces (flat) before the barrier. There’s a big field at the back where we walked our dogs and as others have said its to a short walk to a pub.
Fantastic stop, with lots of spaces to stay in grass. Perfect stop for us the night before RIAT. Short walk into town with small shops and nice pubs. £5.20 for 24 hours on app
Plenty of flat parking spaces, £5.40 for 24 hours. Easy walk across the field to the town. We had food at the Riverside inn, very nice pub. A little road noise but nothing major. You can pay via RingGo app or cash at the machine. Good phone signal on Vodafone but we couldn’t get tv signal.
Nice quiet (when we were there anyway) little spot. Short walk over the Thames to the village. Had an evening meal in the Riverside pub. Then a lovely breakfast at Vera’s Kitchen in the morning. Highly recommended!!
Nice walks and a riverside pub nearby. Felt safe, decent price for parking. Stayed one night after also visiting Fairford.
Stayed here for 5.40£ for 24 hours, quiet night and we were the only ones there, you can only hear the cars from the nearby road but generally perfect night
