Found the entrance with no trouble following the directions. having put £2 into the entry machine I found a space and then went looking for the lady. Having asked if I could stay the night I gave her another £7 to stay overnight and the next morning. I was a little apprehensive after reading earlier comments I found her extremely welcoming and helpful.

Entrance again tight but 6m van no problem.

  • 5/5

The entrance to the carpark is on Brookend Street next to Cats First Rescue near Aldi you exit from the carpark onto Kyrle Street

Do not come here expecting to stay overnight, the previously mentioned, rather aggressive woman will come running out of her house and tell you to go elsewhere. A shame really, she could make a fortune for herself and the location is great! In all fairness she gave us our money back and we left, but her attitude was stinking!!

It's a good spot right in the middle of the town. 5 mins to the river. nice restaurants and fish and chips 1 minute away. we're 7.2M and parked easily, the entrance is tight, just before the short stay car park. The woman mentioned below came up to me while I was by the barrier, I paid her the cash, and she opened the barrier with a key. her phone number is on the sign if there are any problems

Car park itself is fine. Was approached by an aggressive woman in a blue mini when we arrived, she demanding payment in cash, declined to pay her as had already paid at the barrier (you put money in barrier to get into the car park). The next morning had 2 aggressive women banging on the van door demanding payment, arguing, calling us tramps. They refused to show ID or anything else.

We parked up for a few hours and enjoyed a walk in the town. Easy walking to some supermarkets and cafe. It was a relief to find this big car park for our 7.5m tag axle. Easy to get into, big parking space.

Great park up, paid £2 to get in carpark 4pm, very quite toilets across road nice little village with pubs shops etc

  • 5/5

Two entrances, one from Kyrle St and other from Brookend St beside Aldi. Even taking up 2 spaces you pay for only one. £2.50 for 4 hours or £5 for 24, although camping overnight is not permitted.

Note that you need your £2 cash before you get in. Once you turn its hard to back out if you're in a camper. Also the toilets (we used to empty cassette) are in the car park next door so you have to carry it out and around into the next carpark. The toilets were clean though. Car park is flat and spacious

Entrance is not kirkyle street. That is the exit. The entrance is on the Main Street opposite a cycle shop just before Aldi.

  • 5/5

Entrance is right past Aldi and swimming pool parking entrance between two buildings. There is also public toilet (£0.2) in the swimming pool parking, and big garbage bin right by the entrance barrier.
