Ottimo parcheggio fronte mare a volte c'è anche il paninaro molti posti in piano su asfalto, illuminato e con i bidoni spazzatura.
accanto parte una pista ciclabile ed in circa 10 minuti si è in centro.
a 5 minuti c'è un'ottima pescheria e poco distante un parco pubblico con laghetto con i cigni.

Stayed several times, handy for town , harbour , Tesco-Lidl -Co op and across road from garage. Great view with lots of ferry activity, burger van operation this time of year 10.00 am to 3.00 pm so noise level not extrusive neither is traffic. Water available in harbour external tap on harbour master office, pease ask . Nice dog walking area. It’s not perfect but it is free . Bin regularly emptied so no excuse to leave litter
Nice stop after getting off the ferry. Breakfast van here at 6.30 as others have said. Food NOT great. Most of it went into the bin.
Quiet and peaceful it is not. Boy Racers running along the shore road to the adjacent roundabout, round it then back to the town by night, the bustle of workmen's vans from 0730 in the morning all getting their breakfast from the food van. Said food van have their generator running from 0630 and though they do a great breakfast, say very few overnight parkers use them. :-(
I've mixed feelings about this place. The view is superb. There's a food van there from early morning til about 5pm, excellent grub. Its a five minute walk from town. I felt very safe there. But, there's continuous low-level noise. Whether from the nearby industrial area, or from the ferries, I don't know. I don't think I'd use it again.

Great spot to stop but be warned that Mr Chips starts up his generator early to sell his Bacon Sandwiches...
Handy overnight spot after visiting Orkney distillery where they have an outdoor bar meeting COVID Regulations. Book in advance to avoid disappointment. Time you finished in here you don’t notice the over flowing litter bins and the odd youngsters Revving their engines and meeting their friends. All silent by 10.30pm and a peaceful night had.
Easy to walk into Kirkwall and to pick up Kirkwall island ferries. No facilities unless you count the very popular Snak bar caravan. Very close to Tesco and Lidl
Picquaroy centre close by, can use there facilities..ie water top up and toilet emptying when warden on site. Charges apply £3 and £2 respectively at time of writing.
Great location overlooking the sea & harbour wall. Close to Kirkwall town centre but quiet.
