Etwas schräger Platz, tausend schwarze Fliegen. Zufahrt ca. 1 km schmale Single Track Road. Mit großem WoMo Zufahrt zu der Single Track von Westen (Giant's Causeway) kaum machbar, von Osten gut machbar. Schöne Landschaft.

ruhig, da abgelegen mit Blick aufs Meer. Anfahrt auf schmaler, kurvenreicher Straße. Platz ist groß, jedoch nicht überall eben. vorne an den Klippen gut. öffentliche Toilette wurde früh am Morgen gesäubert, Papierkorb vorhanden. Zur Burg geht es über 123 Stufen runter, aber wunderschön

2 août 2025. Accès facile, vaste parking vue sur l’océan et l’Ecosse située à 19 km. Wc propre. Cette nuit nous y étions 5 campeurs tout en gardant notre intimité. Très calme aucun va et viens des locaux. A l’abris du vent. Parfait pour une nuit.

Stayed 2 nights, first night was absolutely fine and had no issues. Second night, wannabe Calvin Harris turned up around 11pm playing all sorts of nonsense. Had to move as could barely sleep

WCs waren offen, nicht so anmächloch, aber vorhanden, das zählt, Abfalleimer vorhanden, Platz war sehr ruhig, schöne Lage, ganz wenig uneben, nicht störend, Zufahrt mit Campervan problemlos

Fantastique spot et super balade à faire sur la pointe au bout de la falaise. Nous avons passé une nuit calme (mais ventée) avec 2 autres vans et des membres du club local de radio amateur qui perpétue le souvenir de Marcini qui établie la première liaison commerciale radio en 1897 entre Ballycastle et l’ île de Rathlin.

Lieu exceptionnel pour la vue ! Avec toilettes à proximité et ouvertures le 10 avril. Nous avons été tranquilles toute la nuit avec 2 autres van et camping-car. Seul petit inconvénient : parking pas plat.

Toilets were locked up when I stayed 3 nights in mid-March 2025. Otherwise a fantastic spot: stunning views & walk down to castle ruins on the beach, a very unique and special place to stay for free! Most day-visitors in cars stayed 30-60 minutes, so even on busy days there should be a spot available, but in high season it might be best to park up early morning or after dark when tourists gone.

Fantastic spot! The headland and castle are lovely and, while there is steady visitor traffic throughout the day, the evenings nights and mornings are very quiet. FYI, the bathrooms are still not open as of march 17th.

Beautiful car park on the cliff edge. Perfect location to wake up and visit the castle. One other car in the morning and some kids at night but otherwise quiet. Toilets closed January.

Stunning location with superb walk to the castle. Bins, toilets and good 4G.

le spot magnifique mais pour la nuit des jeunes sont venus faire des drifs on laissé le moteur de la voiture tourner de 11h à 1h du matin. ils ont laissé part terre plein de déchets alors que des poubelles étaient à disposition. je ne comprends pas comment des jeunes ne respecte pas l'environnement

Lovely wee spot for a night. Road down is a bit narrow but short enough not to worry too much. Toilets open all night long. There were 4 campers for the night, including us. A few cars with kids smoking came and went in the evening but were all gone by 11pm. Amazing walk down to Kinbane Castle in the evening all alone.

Had a nice night here in our motorhome. Toilets are neat with toilet paper, soap, etc. Walk to the castle with nice views. Could see Scotland from afar!

Great spot, perfect for overnight. Plenty of vans. Being Saturday night was a bit concerned about hoons but no one turned up. Great walk down to the old castle

Noche tranquila con un par de furgos mas. Servicios abiertos que han pasado a limpiar esta mañana. Escaleritas que te bajan a la costa con unas ruinas de castillo, bonitas vistas llevate los prismáticos si tienes!!

Toilets and a nice flat car park. What more could you want. Lovely cliff walk accessible from here. Beautiful view to wake up to in the morning. No fees or barriers.

Absolutely no problems with this spot whatsoever. We had a lovely night and we were the only ones! Toilets are open all night long, drinking water too.

WARNING: This spot is clearly a meet-up point for local boy racers. We arrived with high hopes as the view was stunning; but by 11pm the car park was full of young men skidding around in their cars (around 8 vehicles) drinking and smoking. We were the only van, stuck in the back corner and intimidated, so decided to leave. This was disappointing as the other reviews were overwhelmingly positive.

Great park up with awesome views … and a nice walk down to the castle. Lots of visitors during the day and evening, but goes quiet at dusk. The front few spots are nearly flat and the remainder of the car park is at quite an angle .. plenty of room though! When the wind picked up, it did feel quite exposed .. enough to rock the van. Clean toilets & bins are available. 4g Vodafone - OK browsing.

Sehr schöner Platz! Parkplatz für die Burg, weshalb er tagsüber voller wird aber abends steht man wieder allein. Ruhige Nacht. Wunderschöne Küste.

A great location! The road down is narrow and tricky if you meet another vehicle but it’s worth it! When we arrived there was a full car park but as dusk approached the cars left and we were able to position ourselves looking right out to sea! The views were lovely, we were joined by two other motorhomes but a quiet night! The ground is stoney so a bit dirty & toilets were closed for maintenance!

Belle vue et superbe petite rando. En pente. Je suis resté une après midi et pas la nuit. Beaucoup de promeneurs et effectivement des jeunes en voiture. C'est pas le spot le plus calme...

Super spot avec une vue magnifique !!! Seul bémol, des jeunes viennent fumer plusieurs fois par jour et tard le soir, laissant allumer leur moteur pendant plusieurs dizaines de minutes… Pas méchants, mais pénible ! Surtout qu’ils font clairement cela pour embêter les Campers…

Hey lads, we're sorry for the noise at 1am, we really are. We needed to find another place, some youths were playing airsoft guns around our van back in Ballycastle. Boys racer go wild around here I see. Anyway, the road was really easy here even at night on a 5m long camper. The place is supposedly quiet, at least it can't be louder than back in town. So yeah, I would recommend staying.

Toiletten sind leider eher ungepflegt, aber dafür eine großartige Aussicht. Vorsicht: es könnte sehr windig sein und das Wetter kann schnell umschlagen!

Hermosa vista desde este parking al borde del acantilado. Cuenta con baño, mucho espacio, y señal de celular. Excelente para overnight en van o inclusive carpa.

Superbe emplacement avec une vue magnifique. Possibilité de visiter les ruines d’un château en contrebas. Toilettes propres. Poubelle sur place. Nous avons juste était dérangé par une voiture qui est restée garée avec le moteur allumé pendant quelques heures (pas terrible pour l’environnement).

Lovely quiet spot to stay overnight. Toilets are serviced early morning with fresh supplies. It’s fair to say that entrance to the feeder road from the main road is challenging! As is the turn into the car park. Another van was here the same night as we were.

Beautiful place with a view over Rathlin Island, Fair Head and the Mull of Kintyre. I would recommend to walk to the castle ruins, it's a lovely view. The toilets nearby were clean and there were two other campervans with us.

Stunning location with toilets and a beautiful walk to a castle ruin. Had a pleasant stay here, but several cars came during the night which was a bit annoying.

El lavabo esta cerrado a mes de hoy noviembre, pero tiene buen desnivel y tranquilidad y con basuras cerca, y el castillo a pocos metros.

beautiful spot quiet and fully in nature , the castle is stunning and the surrounding scenery beautiful. access is not a problem I'm 9 metres long and the road is fine, plenty of passing places if required. toilets and waste bins on site. the walk down to the castle is easy , the walk back is a little more wearing but we'll worth doing.

Nice little gem of a spot. Parked here last month, great views, public toilets and a peaceful nights sleep. Woke up to the smell of coffee, and the sound of the coffee makers generator. Not bad prices, no hot food though, but the do accept contactless payments. Easy access, and I would highly recommend.

sitio espectacular con escaleras a un 'castillo" , baños superlimpios y tienda de cafe estuvimos solos y pudimos disfrutar del lugar sin molestias ya que los primeros en llegar por la mañana, los de la limpieza y la chica del cafe no hacen nada de ruido, muy respetuosos. el acceso es por una pequeña carretera pero se llega bien

Fantastic place with a 270° view over the sea. Toilets are on site and two waste bins. No other facilities. The road leading to the place is narrow but manageable.

Lovely wee park up for the night, toilets open 24 / 7, very quiet on the 2 nights we stayed, no height restriction but road down to the carpark is narrow and difficult to pass in some areas. Little coffee van open until 5pm most nights selling teas, coffees, cakes, crisps, chocolate and ice cream. Beautiful views along the North Coast and into Rathlin Island

Spent two nights here, toilets are open 24/7 and not too bad, there is a cafe bus there, that started to let its Generator run at 8am until about 7pm on the weekend and Bank Holidays

Excellent place nice and quiet toilets open all night bin on site stayed on 18/4/22 with 2 other vans few kids hung around till dark then left no problems hike down to the castle tough climb back up, if you are a certain age but worth it. VANHALLA

The castle and views from it are amazing and well worth the hike down and back up! I think it was closed due to covid and they haven’t opened it back up. Later we decided against staying the night as there were a few young kids in cars having a party but they weren’t that bad. Would have probably been fine. Mid week I reckon would be dead quiet!

El acceso al castillo está cerrado, pero es un parking apartado estupendo para pasar la noche. Lugar muy tranquilo con unas vistas increíbles y muy cerca de los lugares de interés de la zona.

Visited 14 November 2021 - site is now completely closed and seems to be a construction site. Wire fence prevents vehicular access.

Reasonably flat. No height restrictions or barriers but a single track lane for access would be tricky for bigger vehicles. Toilets and bins nearby and the toilets looked to be open all night. Very quiet. Spent the night here. Good location.

Brilliant spot! One of the quietest we have stayed at. Toilets appear to be open all night. Bins available. A little coffee dock to support with business in the morning!! Would highly recommend! Oh and the view…wow! Our favourite park up in NI to date.

Super quiet spot. Public toilets. Walk to the castle is fenced off but most people just climbed round the edge.

Stayed for one night (2 May '21) and loved it! Only a couple of other motorhomes there so plenty of space for everyone. Toilet open all night and exceptionally clean. Plenty of litter bins which were emptied the next morning. Whilst the castle is closed for preservation works it didn't spoil any enjoyable visit. Great views to Rathlin Island.

Perfect quiet stop for a night, after the local kids stop coming by. Good toilet facilities open all the time. Wonderful castle ruins a short walk down from the parking lot, and views across the water of Rathlin Island.

Kinbane Castle - perfect spot for a night!

Fantastic spot, quiet, right by the cliff edge with an amazing walk to the castle. Toilets are closed in March however.

Very quiet. nice walk down to the coast and the castle ruin. short and narrow drive from main road to car park. toilets here but a bit messy

Nice spot for one night with, toilets, great view and amazing lookout at the end of the hiking trail. Yes, we germans are able to write english comments. ;) Guter Spot mit Toiletten die nicht abgeschlossen werden. Schöne Sicht aufs Meer und cooler Spot am Ende der Wanderung

Un bel endroit pour passer la nuit : jolie vue, toilettes, petite promenade, plutôt calme.

Aucun problème d'accès. Allez jusqu'au château, vous ne le regretterez pas !

Jolie vue sur la mer, parking calme car assez loin de la route. Poubelles et toilettes publiques ouvertes même la nuit. Possibilité d'aller voir les ruines du château en contrebas. Peu de trafic à part quelques visiteurs du château !
