Guter Übernachtungsplatz, Restaurant empfehlenswert, Fangfrischer Fisch, selbstgemachtes Brot und Kuchen. Preislich ok.

Super place for one night. Stayed after doing the hike on Dursey Island (about an hour from there) so pub grub welcome. Home made lasagne was excellent as was the Guinness. Pub really busy on a Monday given location but cars all left and we had a peaceful night. No facilities but fab views and friendly pub. Recommended

Mooi zicht, lekker eten in de pub, zeer vriendelijk personeel. Gratis plaats, geen voorziening. Wandeling met hond in de rustige straat naar boven.

Parkplatz an einem Pub: "Helen's Pub & Café". Plätze für mehrere Wohnmobile. Danke, dass wir dort die Nacht verbringen durften, gut besucht während der Öffnungszeiten, nachts sehr ruhig, Sitzgelegenheiten draußen am kleinen Hafenbecken, direkt vor dem Pub oder drinnen. Sehr freundliche Bewirtung. Lecker fish & chips gegessen, Wein bzw. Guinness genossen.

This is a treasure! Checked with the staff at Helen’s Bar first, as a courtesy but was told “no bother, stay as long as you like!” The stout claims to be the most inexpensive in Ireland currently at just €4.50. Food was delicious, plentiful, and inexpensive too. We’ll be back!

Great outlook from this large car park beside Helen’s Bar. No services but good pub open at time of writing 1500 to 2300, very reasonably priced. Local walks.

Grand Parking plat devant un pub et un petit port. Gratuit avec possibilité de manger, de boire et d’utiliser les WC du pub. Personnel très sympa, ambiance locale. À proximité, une magnifique propriété ouvre son parc arborisé avec des essences du monde entier. A ne pas manquer, un vrai régal pour ceux qui aiment les arbres et les fleurs. C’est Derreen Garden. Accueil et cafétéria sympathique.

We travelled here in a 9 mtr motorhome , so beautiful ,carpark perfect for over night parking.very safe ,Helens Bar is fantastic ,so friendly lovely simple food for a great price ! great guinness , stones throw away . Happy travels people !!

Quite night once bar turned out food at Helen’s bar was very good and very reasonably priced the parking is large but it share with the bar so this may be a problem in the summer months but would certainly recommend this spot.

What a spot! Lively local bar with mixture of locals and tourists passing through. Made to feel very welcome and Guinness was delightful plus a seafood platter for 20 euros. Staff so friendly and no bother staying in car park over night !

Approach from the Lauragh side for a slightly better/safer road on your way to this absolute gem. With lovely views out to sea, Helen's bar has a nice old world charm, community feel and great vibe, not to mention cheaper prices that lets you know this place isn't about squeezing everyone for a buck. Car park is spacious but gets very busy. Had a lovely time. Will be back!

Fantastic spot. Not only great views from the car park but delicious food and drink at Helen’s bar and restaurant. Car park is level and spacious. We checked in the bar if it was ok to stay over and they said yes. Our evening meal was excellent.

V quiet night. Helen’s Bar is great value and if enough people ask she does a full 3 course breakfast for €10. Probably my favourite spot so far on the WaW.

Parking de pub, personne en cette saison. Plat et grand, le pub est fermé : pas de dégustation de moules mais le cadre vaut de s'y arrêter.

Très bon emplacement, sommes restés la nuit pas mal de monde au Helen's bar, très bon fish and chips pas cher beaucoup de motards mais nuit tranquille

Nous y sommes passés le 23 avril, 2cc,malgré la proximité du pub, peu de bruit. Par courtoisie, une consommation vous permet de passer la nuit.

Stayed 9/3/23 with a 8 meter, no problem with access. Pub right across the road was fantastic, great people and the best price on a pint in all of Ireland, pot of local mussels was 6 euro very quite and nice view of the water

A wonderful spot by the sea and a harbour for swimming and a great pub next door. Checked if it was ok to stop overnight after a drink - no problem. Best seafood and great value pub, one of the nicest we’ve found. Level, no services.

Endroit calme pour passer la nuit. Les gérantes du Helen's bar sont très gentilles. On peut commander à manger le soir jusqu'à 20h et possibilité de prendre le Breakfast le matin.

Yet another great spot, very quiet, plenty of room and flat, lovely views and a nice pub (Helens Bar) right on your doorstep - what's not to like! The water looked so calm and inviting, but much too cold for us in April, although we did see a few brave locals having a dip this morning.

Stopped off here for food & drinks, very friendly bar staff, great location near good swimming spots. I didn't personally park up here but did see a few camper vans here.

Excellente nuit passée sur ce petit port. Calme. Pub traditionnel à 5 m très sympa. Terrain plat et dur : on ne risque pas de s'embourber même avec un gros camping-car. Pas de service, ni de poubelle
