This is a Britstop, it's a large carpark next to a restraint and shopping centre.

Park has been up graded to a fuel service station and large charging port for 4 vehicles. Fuel is competitively priced and overnight parking is still available.

Helpful staff, good cafe and shop, fed highland cows! My only negative is that both the roads either side were noisy - day and night. But I do think it was worth it for a broken nights sleep.

  • 5/5

  • 4/5

Good stopover on the way to Edinburgh. The store has everything and more and there are highland coos in the back. I was sceptic at first as we were alone in the early evening however several other vans and RVs came later in the night. The road is loud during the day but we had a surprisingly calm night and a good sleep.

  • 5/5

fab stopover loads of spaces great cafe and shop cute little sheds to eat or drink in if you have dogs and the coos so adorable. safe. well lit .a bit of noise from road but not a problem. should have places like this all over uk its like an aire abroad.. well done perthshire!

  • 5/5

Quite a few other vans here last night and felt very safe as a single female camper. Great breakfast and lovely shop. Would highly recommend

  • 3/5

Flat and clean but oh my, the noise from the A9 was not helping me sleep. in does get a little less during the night but I thought that made it worse... because the lorries do keep coming and are then no longer part of the usual number of cars and you think they are going to hit the van. Will not stop here again..

Stayed here 3 years ago and forget where it was when planning our current trip. Stunbled on it at 22.00 last night after 12 hours of driving. Absolutely fantastic, free stopover. Fresh water tap in the corner. A little noise from the A9 but didn’t affect our sleep. Waiting for it to open for breakfast and will also give a donation. Ive saved it to favourites so will use on future trips too.

  • 4/5

A bit noisy overnight from the adjacent road for us but the breakfast was tasty with very friendly staff

  • 4/5

Quiet overnight spot on the way up to the Highlands. Had to overhang the verge at the back of the motorhome. Busy in the day, with lots of coach trips. Pay at the pump 24hr petrol station next door.

  • 5/5

Had a great night here. Food in the resturant was good and the owner Connor very friendly. Had a roll and coffee for breakfast. Would use again

  • 4/5

Nice spot for a night stop over arrived around 10pm two other vans there. Peaceful as the main road traffic got less the later it went into the night. A clean free spot for an onward journey. Cafe opened 8am nice bacon roll to set me up for the rest of the journey ahead

  • 5/5

Arrived quite late (10-11pm) and left quite early (7am). Perfect car park! Surprised to see other people speak about the noise as I found it really quiet. Might depend on the time you arrive. I recommend this spot.

  • 4/5

Great with completely level parking which is important to us. Friendly and great shop and cafe. Little noisy being beside the road other than in early hours of the morning but nothing bad at all or that would disturb terribly so 4/5 stars. Would very happily stay again for sure!

  • 4/5

Slight traffic noise but otherwise quiet. Good amenities.

  • 4/5

Ideal stopover for travelling to and from highlands . Some road noise but generally quiet. Restaurant, shop and take away open 8am-6pm but it gets busy after 9am with tour buses. Good breakfast rolls. Water pipe in corner of car park but was turned off when we were there.

Having read a review left earlier this week, praising the staff and location, we decided to head here after setting off from York at 10pm to use this as our break point on our way to Durness. It's clean, fairly quiet (as quiet as being next to a motorway can be) and free. We had breakfast and coffee before setting off, staff and food were great and confirmed parking overnight was free.

  • 5/5

Takeaway food was beautiful. All staff were friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Asked the staff about parking the night and said can park anywhere in the car park as long as not blocking any access. Will defo be getting a breakfast role in the morning. As well as food. They also have toilets when they are open and clothing and basic shop items if needed. Would recommend!

  • 5/5

stayed here for 1 night on way to Aviemore. Had some coffee and cake in the shop. very quiet at night though some noise from the A9 road. Breakfast next morning in Restaurant. would recommend.

  • 5/5

A great stopover, very close to the road but slept bo problem. Restaurant, takeaway and fuel station ideal

  • 5/5

Lovely treasure of a find, motorhome parking places on flat tarmac. Visitor centre very popular with locals and visitors, staff very helpful and friendly. Food available by sit in or takeaway and delicious food it was too. Busy A9 nearby but very quiet during the night. Highly recommend and will be back

  • 4/5

Good overnight stop. Arrived late but lots of room. Bit noisy through the night from passing traffic, but not enough to keep me awake.

  • 5/5

  • 4/5

Excellent for a quick overnight pull in on route . asked at the front desk if ok to stay - not a problem. fuel is 24 hours, bins available but small so don't expect to be emptying a bin bag. some road noise from a9 as expected. we parked. against the fence at the back. longer motorhomes can reverse the overhang over the grass to fit into a bay.

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Very convienient stop over en route to or back from the NC500 and completely free. Only us and three over vans on a Friday night, completely undisturbed. Road noise from the A9 but that is to be expected with the convienience of the location. Highly recommend!

  • 5/5

more than 10 spaces all tarmac and level. A9 not that busy at night . shop /cafe opens at 8m for toilets. would stay again.

  • 5/5

  • 2/5

dirty WC, fish and chips with you from 3 pm, lunch for 20 pounds, you have to wait for a seat

  • 5/5

Good free stopover. Toilets and restaurant open at 8am

  • 5/5

Great stop over for us on the way to the NC500, arrived at 1.30am on a friday plenty of space and would stay again

  • 5/5

Good overnight stop. Staff very friendly in shop and restaurant. Suggest rear car park is quieter, fuel station is 24hour, so traffic in & out at night. Well priced restaurant, shop good for stocking up on goodies! Excellent.

  • 4/5

A great place for a stopover, good food and facilities available. We stayed for one night in the main sites carpark and had a quiet nights stay. Quite a lot of road noise but it did drop off through the night.

  • 5/5

Cannot praise this enough. Popped in to the shop to check it was ok to stay and was greeted warmly. Went for food later in the evening (no obligation) and the meal, beer and service was some of the best we ever experienced. Lovely, lovely people. Worth a stop just to meet them. Thank you for this fantastic opportunity ‘Taste Perthshire’

  • 4/5

  • 5/5

Some changes here: old overflow carpark now has a 24 hr fuel station and electric charging points. Bigger motor homes are parking in another carpark the other side of the shop, close to where the Highland Cows are. Looks like a good stop.

  • 5/5

Ideal parkup on long drive to Scotland, arrived at 3:30am. Just one other MH parked for the night. Plenty of spaces. Hassle free night and to top it off fresh cooked bacon sandwiches and latte from the restaurant at 8:30am before we continued our journey. Would definitely recommend.

  • 5/5

Stayed here 22/01/22, arrived at 03:00, 1 work van in the car park with a bloke sat in, no one else. Parked up and the work bloke left around 03:15 slight noise from the road but didn’t affect me, slept through until 9am when everything opened at 10ish. Would be happy to return

  • 5/5

Restaurant was great had both evening meal and breakfast. Great little place, no facilities though other than toilets which are inside and only open when shop and restaurant open which is on 10-5 with Covid restrictions.

  • 5/5

Stayed in main carpark. The only van here and the carpark was very quiet. Road noise from about 4am was loud but that was ok as it broke up our trip from Inverness south nicely. Off to the local adventure park with our boys later.

  • 5/5

Large level ground, a little bit of road noise but worth it for the convenience. An added bonus the restaurant was a lovely surprise, the veggie fajitas were incredible! We even got free desert! Will definitely stay again.

  • 5/5

Great stopover, toilets open 8-8, 7 days a week, breakfast looks amazing but didn’t have time to try it

  • 5/5

Brit stop. Great place to break up the journey. Only 1 on the car park. Fantastic breakfast. Staff very friendly.

  • 5/5

Perfect for an overnight stop. Park in the overspill car park. The visitor centre is open 8am to 8pm and has toilets and a restaurant. We were the only van there and had a quiet night. Great breakfast at the centre too!
