Der Ort ist okay wenn man einfach nur irgendwo übernachten will. Man hört ein bisschen den Fluss, aber sonst eher die Autos. Es ist nicht wie anhand der Fotos anzunehmen eine Wendeschleife,sondern eine Ausbuchtung der innerörtlichen Straße, so dass einige Anwohner regelmäßig vorbeifahren.Dann lieber 5-10 Minuten weiter Richtung Südosten fahren,dort sind super schöne Parkplätze mit toller Aussicht.
Die „Haltebucht“ ist direkt am Fluss. Man hat einen Blick auf den Fluss und teilweise auf die Straße. Es ist aber sehr ruhig dort. Die Straße hört man kaum und nachts fährt dort kaum einer. Wir haben super geschlafen! Auf den Parkplatz passen maximal 3 Camper, wenn sie sehr eng beieinander stehen.

Great spot. Off main road, lovely river to listen to when you’re in bed. There is a lot packed into this little spot. Eating, garden centre, shop, children activities…..very surprised when I wandered out in the morning. Also a number of walks to go on.
9 March 25. Stayed overnight. Good layby on the road to Loch Fyne Brewery, just off the main road. Main road traffic noise acceptable and quiet 2100 - 0630. Right by the river. Excellent night. Lovely place. Pleasant chat with local early morning dog walker. Will stay again.
Great stop off on the way to the Kintyre. Arrived at midnight and still a space left. no facilities, but close to the brewery and Loch Fyne Seafood Restaurant. Quiet in spite of being close to a road.
great spot for a night, clean and beside the river, 5 mins walk to the brewery. road noise pretty low from 7pm- 7am. need to be properly self- contained , no bins.
Very basic but handy stopover for where it is. Potholes but can get level. 2 minutes walk from Loch fyne ales
Lay by just off main road by the river. Room for 5-6 campers I’d say. Quiet location out the way
Great sleeping area with beautiful walks and cafes nearby. Flat, not much of a view from the car park but a stunning vista is a 5 minute walk away. Quiet, far enough from the road that traffic noise not a huge issue. Close to Fyne River which can be heard in the distance. Cafe nearby, good food. Lengthy walk continues alongside the river with deer farms on the way.
Pratique mais très bruyant car la route principale est tout près et on y roule à 95km/h. Dès 5h le matin ça roule ! Par contre l’emplacement est ombragé et au bord de la rivière.
Guter ebener Platz auf Kies. 7,5 m Mobil kein Problem Übernachtung bis 11:00 möglich! Kostenfrei. Overnight ausdrücklich erlaubt.Gerne wieder!
Good location, away from the road and close to the river and brewery. Managed to squeeze in despite some inconsiderate parking by a couple of rental campers.

Just a few meters down the main road. Not noisy at night (just a few lorries but didn’t hear them), depending on how they’re parked there’s space for 4 vans I think. No services but quiet and allows you to rest peacefully during your journey without having to lose time

nice place just off the main road. A bit of traffic noise but accetable. watch out for midgets. If you plan to go down at the river be aware of instant floods.

We parked in the lay-by as there was a campervan with awning and toilet tent set up just inside the carpark. it's a beautiful place with footpath to Cairndow one way and a footpath to the Oyster bar and Tree Shop cafe the other way. We were able to buy Gas from the Tree Shop as well as a Tree .Lovely coffee and scones too
Actually stayed in the walker car park not the layby. It's not exactly the most glamorous of locations but great for both Loch fyne oysters and extra good if you want to drink lots at fyne Ales.
Lovely view of the river. Occasional noise from the road but didn't bother us.

Lay-by was a no go when we passed through, logging trailer parked blocking it and was really uneven. Car park just round the corner is a much better idea.
