Stayed here for an hour wouldn’t recommend it’s a dogging spot now

Perfect stop! So quiet but no signal

Well good spot. Car park isn’t exactly flat though well worth staying here. No phone signal but that’s no problem with such a good view. Would recommend.

Easy to get to, calm and empty throughout the night.

Slightly tilted car park but very nice and calm

Forestry England Car Park with no signs saying no camping, no signal on EE here though, prefer the Reservoir car park up the road which does have signal! Great day car park free for hikes though :)

Stopped here for a lovely walk. Sloping but some flatter spots. By 5pm only couple of cars left so probably OK for a night. Little phone signal. Fantastic views.

Absolutely stunning location but did not stay due to funny looks off of locals and a car acting rather strange.

I stayed in a tarmacked lay-by just before the carpark as there's a bit of a slope in the carpark and I was put off by the previous comment. Nice, quiet and level. Had a great night's sleep. I was in a LWB panel Van, probably wouldn't recommend for anything wider as cars can get a bit close going passed.

Lovely location however didn’t end up staying the night as had a car coming in and out of the gated farm and sitting with full beams on van then would go for 10 mins and keep returning. When I went out there he would drive off. Very odd.

Such an awesome location! Lack of amenities or phone network is nothing next to sky full of stars, gorgeous views from both the hill and the car park, plentiful of cattle, horses, sheep and goats, some even quite eager to come and greet you. The walking paths up the hill are a bit damp/moory so take your wellies or other waterproof shoes. And dogs are welcome!

Stayed a night here for the night. Beautiful location surrounded in nature. Very narrow roads getting in and out. It’s a car park for a walk up a hill so there are walkers very early and very late for sun rise and sun set. No ammenities. Really nice spot would definitely recommend

Fantastic view. Very quiet. However, no flat areas - make sure you have levelling ramps. Also no phone signal / internet in the car park you need to walk up towards the Tor.
