Sind eine Nacht hiergeblieben. Züge hört man laut aber der Platz ist sonst ruhig gelegen. Man fühlt sich sehr sicher. Waren noch drei andere Camper hier.

Great park up - perfect for seeing Windsor! Deducted a star for the noisy train and planes but that can't be helped. Otherwise very peaceful on a Friday night

Car park is now free from 9pm only. I arrived too early, but it looked lik a nice spot

Stayed for a Sunday night. Arrived around 7.30PM and the car park was empty. 20 minutes later a group of boy racers turned up. They did wheel spins etc for 15 mins before leaving. Very quiet night after that. Car park is very brightly lit and next to a rail line. No charges for the time I was there. Good view if Windsor Castle.

Stayed 2 nights free , no disturbance (was Friday and Saturday). Well lit so didn’t need to use our lights. Both nights there were other campers there too. Felt very safe. Loud trains and planes but they don’t run all night and we didn’t mind. Toilets available in the day.

Fantastic place, free to blue badge users, one or two campervans here, go to the very end of the lane.even a park and ride bus to take you into town which you could walk in 15 minutes

Great place to stop for the night after heading back along the M4, yes the trains pass by and and yes planes fly over but don’t let this put you off it’s a nice place to stop where we still managed to have a good sleep, through the day the car park is very busy but at night it was very quiet

We parked in the carpark on the other side of the road (£12.80 all day, after 9 pm free), right up against the castle boundaries. No train noise, just a few cars and planes but quiet at night. It was a short walk to the free public conveniences at the train station (not open at night) and a good 10 minute walk to the castle.

Very pretty spot, trains are loud but not early or late. Police came and had a look around 9pm, was a few vans down there and they left us to it and drove off.

Parked here for a gig in London the location itself it's absolutely lovely but please check the charging times for parking as at the bottom it's free after 4pm but the first car park is 9pm. Day rates as reasonably with train station at the end of the road. Pub food 5min walk away. Green space to go nuts or chill with a view of the castle. Trains stop at 1am but didn't wake me up in the morning

Parking down the end in the overflow area, railway line is close, planes overhead and writhing sight of Windsor castle great little stop for one night.

Super green spot with nice evening view of the castle. The train is quite noisy and frequent though. Toilets are a short walk away, they shut at around 7 pm and reopen at, I assume, 8 am.

Gut für einen Tagestrip nach London! Wir stehen hier die zweite Nacht, es ist laut dank Flugzeugen und Zügen (ca. von 22.30 Uhr bis 6:00 Uhr ist Ruhe). Uns stört der Lärm nicht, aber wer einen leichten Schlaf hat, der sollte woanders übernachten. Tagsüber haben wir die £12 ganz vorne bezahlt, weil es dahinten schon ein bisschen arg wenig los war. Nachts stehen hier aber eine Handvoll Camper und Platz gibt es genug. Man kann schön über das Feld zum Schloss laufen. Nach London gibt’s den Zug zur Victoria Station.

Stayed here for three nights whilst exploring Windsor. Was well lit and felt safe. Toilets near the rugby club but no other facilities. 20 minute walk in to town. Prices have gone up and is now £10.20 for more than five hours. I’ve taken a star off as the train is 50 m away and goes to near midnight, while planes from Heathrow go overhead outside curfew hours (6 am – midnight).

20 Min. Zu Fuss zum Castle, Spaziergänge am Fluss möglich. Aber: Sehr viel Lärm von Flugzeug und Zug!! Das letzte Flugzeug um 00.30h, der frühste Zug 5.20h - in regelmässigem Abstand dann wieder beide. - Der Platz davor = gleiche Gebühr, nachts beleuchtet, tagsüber Schatten. ca. 60 Plätze, nicht 10.- waren 7 WoMos da, kaum Autos, viel Platz!

stayed here for 3 nights, every night there was a few other different vans. No hassle from the locals. As other people have said just keep following the road you will know when your there because you can't drive any further. plenty of turning space because the Free shuttle bus turns at the end of the parking. Public toilet open 8am to 8pm as of September 2024.

großer Parkplatz, ab abends gebührenfrei. bis 22 Uhr und ab 8 Uhr fahren Züge und Flugzeuge die man hört, aber nachts war es ruhig.

Single female car camping... stayed here and felt totally safe. Lovely spot tucked out of the way. Walked in to Windsor on the River Path in the morning and found public toilets open by the museum at 06:45 (not sure if 24hrs) 2 campervans also in the car park. Happy Camping!!

Really good place for Windsor! I had a trailer and an Air b n b booked in at slough where parking was a nightmare with the trailer. I drove 15 mins down the road to here and stayed overnight where a kind man in a motorhome advised me it was free after 4pm.

Great location for Windsor, even more so if you have a dog! Take earplugs, trains start early and track just above car park.

Netter Parkplatz am Park gelegen. Allerdings auch Bahn und Flugzeuglärm. Wird abends weniger. Für große Wohnmobile nicht so viele Stellplatz Möglichkeiten.

Parking plutôt bien situé pour visiter la ville de Windsor, dommage qu’il ne soit plus gratuit le week-end! Nous avons passé une nuit tranquille et n’avons pas été dérangés par le train et les avions.

Standen hier für einen Tagesausflug. Preise sehr günstig, man muss nur bis 5PM zahlen. Die Nacht hätte man auch verbringen können, war uns aufgrund der Schienen und der Flugzeuge aber zu laut. Trotzdem toller Parkplatz!

Two car park here - Home Park has changed and charging at weekends, but still only daytime as free after 4pm (and free Bank Holidays). Don't get confused with the slightly closer Romney Lock car park which charges til 9pm! But nice spot with views and open space, though aircraft landing at Heathrow start early.

Für eine Nacht super, schöner Blick aufs Schloss. Zug-und Fluglärm hörbar, aber nicht gross störend. Rasenanlage kann sowohl für Sport als auch für Gassigänge genutzt werden. Preise wurden leicht erhöht, aber ab 16-9h kostenlos.

What a great spot … we arrived after 4 and will pay for tomorrow and head out the next morning.

Free parking after 4pm but free at weekends what a great find. We did feel like the trains and planes never stopped but obviously stopped during night but then started early. Not good if you are a light sleeper. Just so good for going into Windsor so it's your choice!

Stayed one night whilst working at Heathrow. Great night's sleep. Free over weekends, no height or width restrictions, zero hassle, quiet. When you turn into the main car park, keep driving right to the end as the car park before this one is payable. Look for Home Park. Great view of the castle over the green.

Ein sehr schöner Platz, 5 Minuten zu Fuß nach Windsor.Saubere Toiletten gibt es auch um die Ecke. Am Wochenende zu dem kostenlos. Die Bahn fährt tagsüber, aber man kann nicht zentral stehen und Ruhe haben. Besonders empfehlenswert der Pub royal Windsor direkt am Ortseingang.

Great spot! Loads of free spaces (for every size), very close to Windsor Castle with a huge park in front of it. You can even see the Castle from the parking. So nice views :) Park and ride possible. If you drive to the parking area there are some other parkings before it. So you make sure to drive to the end of the road!

Great stop for the night. Free after 4pm and on weekends, castle view and there’s even a free shuttle bus for you to jump in and visit the city.

Ein super Platz um Windsor zu erkunden. Wir haben nichts bezahlt und standen morgens auch noch länger hier und es wurde nichts kontrolliert. Nachts sind die Züge sehr laut, daher ein Stern Abzug.

our first visit to this carpark, great location,free after 4pm sat,sun and bank Holidays are totally free . we are beside a lovely green with the castle in the distance and as an added bonus there is a free shuttle bus to the town and back, so perfect cheap location. highly recommended.

This was our very first park 4 night stop over! Went to an event in London and needed somewhere to stay overnight to break up the journey. Perfect! We stayed on a Sunday night so it was free all night until 9am. Quite and secluded without feeling intimidated. Woke up to see Windsor Castle out the window!

Lovely view. Reasonably quiet night. Few trains but not obtrusive. Prices have changed. Payment needed between 9am and 9pm. £9.50 for over 5 hours. Expensive but it is Windsor.

Trains ran till just before 12, and first one was 6am. Nice places nearby for a meal

Not free weekends any more but still only £2 for the night. Massive field with kids play park. Views of the castle. Trains and plains but not excessively noisy. Plenty to do nearby

Noise: Awful, just don't stay overnight. This is where young local folk come with their cars, playing loud music late most nights. Safety: Not great, right at the end of the car park. Cost: Just seven pounds for 24 hours. View: Amazing view of the castle. Surround: Beautiful park, just 15 mins from town. Overall: beautiful place for a day, only stay overnight if you really have to.

Arrived Friday evening at 5pm, stayed the weekend, left Monday morning before 9am. Free parking, quiet except for trains and planes (to be expected) slept well. Brilliant location to explore Windsor. Park right at the bottom end of car park out of the way.

Super plan pour dormir et visiter Windsor en navette gratuitement et Londres en Train (23,7GBP aller/retour pour 3) en 1h à Warteloo. Gratuit le soir et le week-end.

Quiet place, once the trains have stopped (8:45pm ish). Directly on flight path. Free overnight. Another campervan was here while we stayed. Nice backdrop of Windsor Castle. Easy 5 min walk to River Thames and pubs/ restaurants. Make sure you don’t park in the Train Car Park!!

Buen park para visitar Londres. la estación de tren está al lado y 45 min en llegar enlace metro Londres. Desde viernes 16.00 a lunes a las 9 es gratis. Resto de los días 1 L la hora o 7 L por día. Hemos comprado la travelcard y teníamos metro y bus incluido en precio. Lo hemos comprado en ventanilla, un día costó 14 L adulto (niño 11) y el domingo 11 L adulto y 9 niño. Ruidoso por tren y avión

Romney Lock Road has several car parks, with different charges. The one mentioned is at the far (north-east) end of the road, beyond the "park and ride" bus stop

Proche du château : 15/20 minutes à pied ou en navette gratuite.

Navette gratuite pour le centre ville. Peu de place disponibles en journée. Tarif 1€/heure entre 9h à 16h. Un peu bruyant en raison de la proximité de la voie ferrée et de l'aéroport.

Stayed for one night, convenient stay from Heathrow airport. Next to the train line and under the flight path so expect some traffic noise until late evening and again in the morning, but lovely view of the castle and free from 4pm until 9am.

Free parking 4pm-9am and £6 for 4hrs+ between 9am and 4pm. There are multiple parking lots along this small road, we drove to the one at the end and found very few cars. There are loud trains every 30mins or so and a less noisy shuttle bus every 20mins till 8.40pm. Overall a good parking spot next to a park.

Muy buen sitio para visitar el castillo y el pueblo, bus gratis hasta el centro cada 20 minutos, caminando son 20min. La noche regular xq los trenes pasan muy cerca y frecuentemente, x lo demás zona muy tranquila y barata, 6£ de 9 a 16h, luego gratis. Cómodo tb para visitar Londres, unas 12£ i/v en tren offpeak (no hora punta) x persona, muchos hirarios.

Places pour grands camping-cars, très bien pour aller visiter Windsor. Toilettes à proximité.
