Toilets no longer have a fee and are open 7am > 5pm. Numerous trash cans available. Dogs off-lead risk a max £100 fine. Town within walking distance and have pretty much everything you could wish for. This is a good park up facility that I will revisit at a future date.

  • 5/5

Great spot :) we used this as a stop over on our way to Abergavenny and it was perfect for walks along the river and up into the little town. Great for dogs too. Only one other motorhome there but plenty of space when we arrived.

  • 4/5

Great spot for an overnight stay! Recommend dinner and drinks at the Royal Oak— would be amazing in summer but a bit dead in winter. Totally recommend as a spot for an overnight stop- only reason for the 4/5 is that the toilets aren’t working at the moment but otherwise great spot

  • 4/5

Good spot, but it's on the road, not a parking lot. Very poor internet signal

  • 5/5

Great place! Stayed this Friday night. A few people/cars passing by up until 8/9 but really quiet after that. A beautiful spot by the river and some great places in town to eat/drink. 4 hours free 9am-6pm I think it said. Didn’t use the toilets but they are right there on the river bank.

  • 4/5

We spent last night here along with 6 other vans. Albeit a lot of vans. there was plenty of space. Toilets are 20p but lock at 5pm. Loads of bins. We had a quiet peaceful night. Signs state maximum of 4 hour stay between 9am and 6pm.

  • 3/5

Good for parking to walk into the town but was busy. I didn't stay the night as Stayed in eoss rowing campsite which was great.

  • 5/5

Great spot for a night. Short walk into town centre. Nice walk along river wye. We didn’t use toilets when we were there. Minimal road noise. Couple of pubs on same road although we didn’t use them. Great halfway stop to south wales. Will use again. Barely any others parked there when we were there but that could be due to it being a Monday. We had intermittent network but mostly ok

  • 5/5

good spot. don't get internet reception unfortunately

  • 5/5

Nice place! town is close and the people seem friendly.

  • 4/5

Stayed here on Thursday before Good Friday. Arrived at 11pm - still spaces. Lovely spot. Toilets not open at 7am. Limited to 4hrs parking between 9-6 Mon-Saturday. Free overnight. Quiet spot with very little road traffic. Can hear road noise from main road but nothing to worry about. A good spot if travelling into Wales. Only dropped a star as toilets weren’t open - otherwise a 5-star spot.

  • 5/5

Brilliant spot! We stayed for one night while visiting friends in the town, very peaceful nights sleep and lovely view over river. Very quiet the night we were there with just one other van. Perfect for dogs too - will def stay again when passing. Had a take away from the Nepalese restaurant in town - delicious and great value!

  • 4/5

Lovely spot right by the river, been here loads of times, worth investing in a radar key for the loos! Pretty level and very peaceful. Also get some really great like minded folk as neighbours.

  • 5/5

    Quiet and free. Top!

  • 5/5

Such a beautiful space to stay for the night! We stopped here and enjoyed the peace and tranquillity that staying by a river has to offer. No issues in regards to road noise and would definitely stay again.

  • 5/5

What a great spot I've paid for worse looking camping grounds pub nearby for a drink and food, toilets all it needs is a electric hook up and they'd be charging you £30 a night

  • 2/5

So busy that we could not get a space. parked on a side road so we could walk along the river. Enjoyed a drink and live music at the Hope and Anchor. drove past 3 times but no spaces so went elsewhere.

  • 4/5

Nice spot by side of road and close to river. Arrived after 6 so free to park. Lovely meal at the Hope and Anchor. Good service even though staff were very busy. Sat by river as the sun set and saw bats and a possible otter! Some traffic noise in the morning but not too bad.

  • 5/5

really nice spot - easy parking next to river and a stroll into town

  • 5/5

Great spot. Quiet and close to spacious field by the river and the town centre. Came to kayak, stayed for supper and camped out after a whiskey and a walk. Good nights sleep and it all cost just 20p for my morning movements. Toilet attendant was late and grumpy at first but opened the facilities and then gave friendly chat.

  • 5/5

First time using the app and found this place. Was spot on, nice and quiet, felt safe, toilets nearby which was helpful. Good location for town, all good!

  • 4/5

    Nice place

  • 5/5

stayed last night, no problems. Still in bed so not looked about yet but gonna get up and go for breakfast . Great spot for dogs.

  • 4/5

Stayed 1 night last week. Arrived 3pm, left next day 11am for free. Very quiet. No problems.

  • 5/5

Great spot. As others described. Notice saying street closed on 4th June for the jubilee.

  • 3/5

it's a good spot, but at the side of the road. the mens toilets only have one stall. trash bins available. we felt safe.

  • 4/5

Nice quite spot by the river. Lots of space on flat ground with easy access to walks along the river and the town. We popped into town to get fish and chips and ate them by the river. As others have said, toilets are closed 5pm-7am and you need 20p coins. Right next to river launch pad so would stay again and bring the paddle board!

  • 4/5

Great spot, on the Rd but was quiet, functional in town option.

  • 4/5

Stayed here no problem, quite quiet. Very convenient

  • 5/5

Stayed here in our 7.2m with my children. Great spot right by the Wye. Sign gives 4 hours parking between 9am and 6pm. No overnight restrictions. We walked along the river in both directions. 10 minutes in the direction of town is a play area and then an Aldi as you head into town. We enjoyed a meal in The Royal pub at the top of the hill. Reasonable prices and good food.

  • 4/5

Great stop over by the river, a bit noisy until 11pm and again by 6am but very nice

  • 4/5

Excellent spot lvery close to the river. Had a great SUP before settling down then some plank decided to squirt my bus with some liquid (haven’t checked it out yet) and bang on the sides. I’ve had a lot of work done on her & if I find one scratch I won’t be happy! Why can’t people leave people alone? It did unnerve me but I do have a spatula in the drawer. I’m hoping this was a one off incident!

  • 5/5

Great spot, would Recommend, Ross on wye very nice, river walks.

  • 5/5

Lovely stop alongside the river Wye

  • 4/5

We stayed here on Sunday night. Very convenient for access to town and Riverside walks. Parking was no problem, plenty of spaces. Toilets were well maintained. Definitely stop here again.

  • 4/5

    Nice over night stop

  • 5/5

Lovely spot for an overnight, quiet, but not remote, pretty, nice little park, river walks close by. First overnight in new camper. Parked up with a couple of motorhomes, feels safe. Loos 20p.

  • 5/5

Great spot. Quiet and lots to do around as well.

  • 4/5

Great free parking (4 hours) spot next to a green and the river. Parallel parking ok for Motorhomes.

  • 5/5

Stayed here last night, our first night ever in a campervan! We were a little nervous about 'wild' camping, but no need to be; this is an excellent spot! We arrived at 4pm, left at around 10am today, and had no bother at all. It's a very quiet, beautiful spot, and just a few minutes walk away from Ross-On-Wye where you'll find plenty of pubs and shops etc. Excellent place for a stopover!

  • 5/5

Very good, spent one peaceful night, very nice town, great walks, beautiful Wye. toilets open 7am, all good.

  • 5/5

Just parked for the day, definitely recommend to visitors day or night as there is no restrictions past 6pm and you have until 1pm the next day to leave by the looks of it! Toilets right next to parking spots, beautiful river walk right by the road.

  • 4/5

Only a couple of cars passed over night. Town built on top of the hill had everything required. Small pro one side river the other.

  • 4/5

Popular spot with locals parking here to walk their dogs. Full of cars when we arrived but spaces later in the evening. Quiet night sleep. Not sure why this is marked as a Green Van symbol as there are no services that we could find.

  • 4/5

Toilettenhäuschen nachts geschlossen. Parken überwiegend auf unbeleuchteten Parkstreifen, Parkleuchte nicht vergessen. Mehrere Bänke am Fluss

  • 3/5

Handy quiet approved. Stayed overnight 18/06/2018 . 4 hours parking restriction in the day but you are OK if leave before 1.00 pm.

  • 4/5

Ideal overnight stopover, feels safe on edge of village, quiet enough with toilets available and free. 4 hours maximum stay between 9am - 6pm
