Ruhiger Ort am Wasser. Sackgasse und kein Verkehr. Nachts extrem ruhig. Man hört nur Wellen und Vögel. Öffentliche Spazierwege. Für Hunde geeignet.
Un lugar tranquilo junto al agua... calle sin salida y sin tráfico. Extremadamente silencioso por la noche... solo se oyen las olas y los pájaros. Paseos públicos... aptos para perros.

this place is beautiful. unfortunately a group of yobs turned up on motocross bikes and cars which was fine at first. but I left after they stole a small boat cutting the rope with a electric grinder, as a lone female I didn't feel safe knowing they were equipped with such tools. my dog barking didn't deter them away from my van. spoilt a lovely spot.
Lovely peaceful spot with excellent views. Lots of dog walkers in the afternoon but very quiet in the evening.
Excellent spot very peaceful, if you’re careful you can get fairly level. Road upto the spot is a bit pot-holed so best to take this steady and better when light as opposed to late at night. Pleasant walks in the morning with the dog along the solway
Great spot, four places for vans if parked sensibly, next to the water, beautiful. Friendly dog walkers and a farm next door. Single track road but with places to pass, last fifty metres of the road is extremely pot holey but if you go slow you can drive round them all.
We drove up from the Midlands for an overnight stop here, while we headed up to the Highlands. Not very flat and very muddy. The road leading up to the park up had loads of huge pot holes. When we pulled up there was a young couple having sex on their car bonnet, so we left instantly. Such a shame as it looked like a nice place on the pictures.
One of my favourite spots to park up for a sleep during a long journey. So quiet at night, and a brilliant place to walk the dog in the morning.
Great spot! We stayed last night, no problems at all. Just the sound of the water and the rain. There is a small beach great for a morning walk and watching the sun rise is stunning!
Great little stop over for free, stayed last night was not disturbed nobody else around. Lovely view in the morning. Level not particularly level is only gripe but can’t complain
Parked up alone at this beautiful, a little sloping spot for the night. People tried to ROB us and STEAL our bikes off the back under the vision of their car headlights. I shouted and banged on the van window and they made a getaway. Perhaps we were just unlucky but this felt quite pre-meditated rather than an opportunist. We felt pretty vulnerable with our young kids so left.
Very small area but glorious view and so quiet. Dog walkers do come early in morning. Please park sensibly, talking to locals and not happy when vans parked long ways across the spaces. Really only space for 2 vans
Not bad for a quick stopover when my other planned place was inaccessible. No facilities. Quiet enough. No trouble from the locals. Only space for a handful of vehicles and not very flat.
very quiet at night. lovely view over the river. no amenities some would need to be self sufficient. was great for a night stay.
What a beautiful spot to stay the night. The parking area is quite small so if there are more than 2 dog walkers then it might be hard to find space.

der Weg zu den Stellplatz wird am Ende eng und mit Schlaglöchern versetzt. der Schotter endet dann in der Stelle, an der wir zu zweit standen. wir bekamen dann noch Besuch von zwei weiteren Mobilisten. der Platz ist nicht geeignet für Fahrzeuge größer 6m.
Très bel emplacement et très belle vue. Arriver tôt car les places sont chères.
Very quiet, great views to wake up to, room for 3 motorhomes, 4 at a push I'd say, water is nice for a dip
Lovely place . Good views .a couple of good level areas and if you have a 4x4 camper there a few more spots along. Only issue was dog mess . It’s the local dog walk . There was dog poo bags left on the grass and a few dog poos in the grass which we discovered . Probably due to no bins .the beach is really just mud but water very clear . Could’ve been 4 stars but for the dog poo
Nice view but very small , very uneven and right in front of a cottage. not suitable for large campers and any more than 1 camper at a time is not recommended. certainly not 6 like the previous comments suggest .. 1 large camper or 2 small campers max . any more is being very inconsiderate.
lovely spot, very quiet. 6 vans here although two of them from NL were over on the grass in front of the cottage there. we were happy for another van to block us in as we were in no hurry the next morning. fabulous walk along the riverbank with views across the vast sandy wetlands of the Solway estuary.

Stayed here a few days ago, perfect stop! Love Gretna and it holds so many amazing memories for Me & My Hubby, this spot is without a doubt the perfect stop, we will be back again. Maybe really soon. Level blocks were needed room for 4 , park sensible be considerate. Leave only foot prints. Dogs loved it here on the beach, clean up thou.
Wir haben hier mit einem L2H2 einen Nachmittag und eine Nacht verbracht. Tagsüber kamen viele Spaziergänger, daher sollte genügend Platz gelassen werden. Nachts standen wir dort zu dritt. So wie auf dem Bild sollte man auf jeden Fall nicht parken! Unsere Wagengröße ist Maximum!
Sehr nah an einem bewohnten Gebäude, kein passender Platz zum übernachten.
