nice place for overnight. it's not free but 5KM for the night collected by a guard that gives you a ticket. The restaurant is open until 10pm serving nice warm food and open for breakfast and coffee in the AM. toilets open outside of the restaurant. beautiful scenery. A couple of sweet stray dogs that are really friendly with our dog.
We spent two good nights here while hiking in Sutjeska. On the second morning a man claiming to be a park guard knocked on our windows and said we needed to buy a ticket for 5KM to have spent the night so we did. If you’re there during the day it can be quite busy with tour buses and school coaches passing through. Quiet at night. Friendly dogs nearby.

Entorno espectacular y noche super tranquila, me metí en el césped (no en el propio parking) y nadie me dijo nada…
Haben hier für eine Nacht ohne Probleme und ruhig gestanden. Haben das Denkmal besichtigt und sind am nächsten Tag in den Nationalpark bis zum Parkplatz wo man den Wasserfall von weitem sehen kann.
it is free so no need to takeaway stars free wifi free toilets beautiful location we walked to the Savin Grob monument via the Battle of Sutjeska monument 8km round trip very hilly but marked with red dots on many trees stayed 2 nights planned on 3 but bad weather sent us west to Stolac little veggie options in restoran but I can recommend Cevapi for meat eaters
Gutes Restaurant, durften gerne für 1 Nacht stehen. Halt ein Parkplatz, etwas laut an der Straße aber für 1 Nacht ok.
We stayed there for 1 night. Safe and not so big noise from the road - it didn't disturb our sleep. Great monument in a walking distance, great mountain view. A little trush from the near restaurant.
haben hier zu mittag gegessen. zu viert für 30€. für bosnien recht teuer, aber für deutsche Verhältnisse günstig.
we planned to stop here but ridiculously noisy with motorbikes and not a huge amount of space. moved on. had wanted to hike in the forest but as said before, very limited information which was frustrating.
Nit tranquila,just al costat del monument. teniem intenció de Fer alguna caminada per la zona, pero no hi ha gens de informació del parc ni de les rutes...una pena perqué la zona es preciosa
Spent a quiet night here but in the morning it's full with cars and tour buses to visit the monument. It seems to be a park of the restaurant but it's also to visit the monument so it's ok to spend the night here.
Surprisingly busy road during the night, trash cans to one side. No one seems to be bothered if you stay the night.
We staid here for one night in March 2024. The place was ok, it’s the parking of a restaurant They did not bother us for sleeping here. Next to a beautiful moniment. The place is a bit dirty (trash, dog poo, etc.) but nice mountain views and relatively quiet. Bring some food for the dogs :)
noite tranquila, existem cães super amigáveis! Café com bastante movimento e pessoas simpáticas! Tem Wi-Fi
Sitio idilico tanto para aparcar en bateria como en el cesped de más adelante a la derecha, el wifi no lo he probado ni el agua pero en la carretera no hay mucho paso de coches. Sitio perfecto y con maniobras puedes estar plano. La parte negativa es que los dos perros aunque son dóciles no pararon de ladrar durante toda la noche…
Perfekt zur Besichtigung des Monuments. Tagsüber relativ viel los. Passt auf die süßen Streuner auf. Unter unserem WoMo hat einer im Schatten geschlafen als wir wegfahren wollten.
The place is OK for overnight stay but we preferred more hidden place near by. Restaurant is good, serves breakfast, toilets shared with the info center. The road is quite busy during the day.
De la place pour beaucoup de véhicules, les toilettes sont ouvertes toute la nuit. Possibilité d'aller aussi au bord de la rivière Sutjeska.
Large and flat area to park, minimal road noise. Toilets open all night, cleaned in the morning. Nice restaurant. Friendly cat and dog nearby! Only one earthquake in the night!!
Aparcament prou tranquil a l’altra banda del monument. Passen alguns cotxes, però està bé per una nit.
Parking tranquille pour la nuit. Nous avons été au restaurant, c'était bon, avec wifi et les gens très gentils. A 22h nous avons nous aussi vu la police faire des contrôles mais ils ne sont pas venus nous voir non plus.
Bom sitio para pernoitar. Alguns carros passam na estrada mas nada de especial. No geral foi bom.
Parking del restaurante, justo enfrente del monumento. No te dicen nada por aparcar ahí. Bueno para todos los tamaños, nosotros preferimos no dormir ahí porque la carretera está bastante transitada y es ruidosa, así que nos fuimos al parking del centro de investigación (al lado del camping) cuyo acceso es por el hotel Mladost, nivelado, tranquilo, bonito y gratis.
Arrived 1.February 20. the restaurant was closed because of renovation. No one there only a small black cat. At 22.00 police van arrived next to us, so we were waiting until they'll knock on our van. But they didn't they just stopped few cars. Otherwise very intresting place to visit
Good restaurant, nice place (memorial), but parking too close to road. We slept just 100 meters up the road, on it's other side, in front of abandoned hotel. Little bit scary, but we had calm night and morning.
Carpark next to restaurant and road. Nothing fancy. Good for visit to the monument. We did not stay here overnight, but instead went to the nice National Park camp (behind the info center, 12km).
