Fantastic spot with view over the beach. Great spot to sea swim, great cafe 100m away and a good pub 200m away.

Le spot est effectivement fantastique et vaut le détours. Nous avons passé une nuit tranquille avec 6 autres véhicules. Merci aux autorités locales de permettront de se garer la nuit.

Another amazing Donegal location! Spent the night here and had a lovely stay. Toilets locked between 10pm and 10am but no problems otherwise. Amazing beach for swimming and the island offshore looks interesting but is only accessible by foot at low tide.

Stayed one Saturday night in March. Lovely quiet spot with lots of parking overlooking the beach. Clean public toilets open until 9pm.

Great little park up facing the brilliant beach and Inishkeel Island. Toilets open until 9pm. 5 other vans here with absolutely no issues. 2 mins walk to Annora pub...nice wee spot. Quiet nights sleep.

Great beach with fine views of the surrounding hills. No bother from anyone and slept well. Five vans parked up on a windy evening. Suggest avoid it in school holidays based on previous posts but otherwise would recommend.

Guards moved campers and motor homes on. Very disappointing and incredibly inconvenient as it was late in the evening when we were asked to move. The nearest location we found ended up being a hellish night with rowdy youths partying in the early hours.

wonderful place but the guards moved campers out of the area in the evenings and mornings. locals intolerant of motorhomes also. coffee shop is lovely, staff are lovely. shame about the guards and locals as it really is a great place.

Parking avec vue sur la plage. Les activités du soir ne sont pas gênantes.

It would be better to call this location Naran. Portloo is further down the coast.

Good park up for the night with amazing sunset, if weather is right. water tap, cold outside shower, toilets and bins. fairly level with cafe/ice cream shop opposite and pub up the road. fantastic beach where you can walk across to the other little island at low tide. be careful if the tide as it comes in around you if your not careful. leave no trace or we will lose it.

Sehr schöner Sandstrand. Bei Ebbe kann man auf die Insel rüber laufen. Urlaubsort, d.h. am Wochenende etwas stärker frequentiert, in der Woche ruhiger.

Shorter vehicle parking on the waterfront facing the beach. Longer vehicles across the road along the fences, but you may take up more one park. Off season is probably OK. Even in February it is a busy. Dogs restricted on the beach between the blue flag area certain hours in season. Otherwise fine. Dog foul bags at the waterfront. Clean toilets. Good 4G. Vegan options at the cafe. Quiet nights

Beachside campervan parking facility. Plenty of length to park campervan without interfering with passing cars. Gorgeous view over Portnoo Beach. Wild swimming & a long beach walk a must & in low tide a visit to the 13th century ruins of St Connells church worth doing. Waste bins & cold beach shower & public toilets available

As a local, it is appreciated if the road & footpath isn’t blocked. Overhanging parking spaces on the road and/or the footpath makes the car park very dangerous for wheelchair users, pedestrians, prams, cyclists and other road users. Putting tables and chairs across the footpath also causes obstruction and forces others to navigate a busy road with blind spots, going around overhanging MHs.

Beautiful outlook and beach. Room for vans up to 7m (maybe 8m if you overhang the path). Bins, recycling, water tap and shower. Toilet block too.

Heerlijke plek aan het strand:) ja ik heb gezwommen in zee en daarna onder de koude douche gestaan: ook een lage kraan met drinkwater voor de voeten af te spoelen: de wc ‘ s waren super schoon:) bij eb wandeling naar eilandje Inishkeel: daar rondje over het eiland met uiteraard heel veel oude stenen en een verhaal:) geen enkele local die wij spraken had moeite met campers:) aanrader dus

Not for me. Quite busy and very overlooked by houses. Shower is only cold water outdoor one for washing sand off and toilets leave a little to be desired. Cafe etc all closed for winter? visit on 28/09/2022

Perfekter Parkplatz. Direkt an einem tollen Strand. Toiletten, Außendusche, Mülleimer vorhanden. Wir hatten eine entspannte Nacht.

class spot loads of campers people out with guitars at the beach singing songs of all sorts enjoyable evening.unreal beach just need more sun .if your in Ireland go hear and enjoy your stay .

Loved it here! Ideal for an overnight. Not too busy for August although weather was a mixed bag. Toilets open all night. Outdoor shower and tap also.

Parking très calme. Nous sommes restés une nuit. Toilettes publiques juste à coté (très propre). Je recommande ! surtout pour la vue !

abbiamo dormito qui gratuitamente con diversi camper. come era preventivabile diversi rumori di traffico. ma il posto è piacevole.

Tagsüber sehr belebt, es ruhigt jedoch gegen 23h. Verbrachte ruhige Nacht, andere Vans auch da. Coffeeshop ist empfehlenswert, Mittwochs geschlossen. Schöne lange Spaziergänge am Beach entlang oder die Straße weiterlaufen vom Parkplatz aus nach Portnoo Harbour. Schöne Sicht auf die Bucht! Ca. 1 Std. hin und zurück. WCs in Irdnung, Wasser gibts zum Sand abspritzen.

Fabulous back to nature beach. Parking overlooking looking the beach. toilets open all night. lovely restaurant behind and on Friday to Sunday they open a mobile silver bullet van serving Pizza, Fish & Chips and burgers. Really good quality. Locals are friendly to sensible camper but fed up with freeloader that leave the place in a mess and are disrespectful to them.

Fantastic location overlooking the beach. Toilets open 24-7 & bins available, which is unusual in Donegal. Plenty of fellow campers. Lots of activity for a busy beach but gets quieter as gets later in evening and we had a very peaceful night

Fantastic place to spend a night or 2, free parking, very clean toilets, bins provided, local cafe and a pub up the road, fish & chip van (excellent fresh fish) at the weekends and right on a stunning beach, chatted to a number of locals who were very appreciative of us spending money in the area) the walk to Inishkeel island at low tide is lovely, Mace shop in Portnoo 20min walk

Absolut legaler Platz, wunderbarer Blick, Badestrand, eben, saubere Toiletten, 3 Womos da, bis 7 m easy, längere wären störend

Une très belle vue ça compense le fait d’être sur un simple parking. Des toilettes, des poubelles et un petit snack mobil qui propose des pizzas, frites etc. Par contre nous sommes vite partis le lendemain samedi car envahi de véhicules pour une régate à rame qui avait lieu. Sinon nuit tranquille.

Toller Platz für eine Nacht. Sehr saubere Toiletten die 24h geöffnet sind. Neben der Toilette gibt es Entsorgungsstellen für Glas und Aluminium. Ruhige Nacht, etwas windig.

Fabulous, flat parking on beach. Here on our own in December. Try to take a spot that isn’t in line with houses behind. Bar Annora with top class grad music 5 min walk. Walk across to island at low tide but check tide times first. The public toilets are open all night, very clean and well maintained. Fresh water tap available. One of the best spots in Donegal.

Our return visit to Narin beach. The beach is amazing, car park is almost perfectly flat, very spacious. Busy in the summer time and we were 1 of 2 campers here in October. free public toilets open 24h, recycling bins and running water available. locals very friendly and no issues with parking.

Super nice spot. Toilets open all night (incl toilet paper), cold shower and water tap. We were the only camper van yesterday night. Close to houses but no one bothered us to stay here.

Parked here for one night in August. Big and levelled car park with free toilets open al night and cold shower outside. Very quite at night, busy during the day as people come to spend time at the beach. One small coffee shop nearby.

Very loud drunk kids coming and going all night. This place might be good for the night when the weather is bad and they sit at home...

Lovely spot great view - very clean toilets

Great spot stayed for 2 nights. Toilets, tap and bins are as good as it gets in Ireland. Low tide walk to the ruins on the Ireland or a walk to Portnoo. Pub up around the corner is excellent. But as previously stated don’t park in front of the houses and park within the lines.

Its all been said but really nice spot, toilet open all night. disabled one is best to use. Water tap. beach is great very long and the whole place is kept clean. Even seen the lady who runs the Coffe and popcorn van picking up litter at the end of the day. Pub has music most of the time it seems and food from the cafe beside can be served in the bar.
