if you don't mind being locked in behind the Gate then no one comes and tells you to move out after five.. I have parked there several times at night and as said they just locked the gate and that's fine for me
Parking inférieur de Ty Mawr
Joli petit coin tranquille sous un viaduc.
Il s'agit du parking inférieur, bondé, et la signalisation indique qu'il ferme à 17 h.
L'application m'a permis de payer 12 heures de stationnement.
Pas de limite de hauteur, mais l'accès à la voie est bordé de branches d'arbres basses, il pourrait donc ne pas convenir aux fourgons/camping-cars plus grands.
Ty Mawr Lower Parking
Nice little quiet spot under a viaduct.
This is the lower, overflowing parking lot, and the signage indicates it closes at 5 p.m.
The app allowed me to pay for 12 hours of parking.
No height restriction, but the access to the lane has low tree branches, so it might not be suitable for taller vans/motorhomes.
Ty Mawr Unterer Parkplatz
Schöner kleiner, ruhiger Platz unter einem Viadukt.
Dies ist der untere, überfüllte Parkplatz. Die Beschilderung weist darauf hin, dass er um 17:00 Uhr schließt.
Mit der App konnte ich für 12 Stunden Parken bezahlen.
Es gibt keine Höhenbeschränkung, aber die Zufahrt zur Fahrbahn ist von niedrigen Ästen gesäumt, sodass sie möglicherweise nicht für höhere Transporter/Wohnmobile geeignet ist.

Shazzy1613/05/2025There is no overnight parking at all at Ty Mawr. Also there are no toilets there after 5pm and the people that are running it are not happy. Please don't go there anymore

Went there at 6.15pm and it was locked!! Gate chained shut

Arrived at 5.30 on 29 sep 24 the overspill was locked but main CP open loos also locked but if you have radar key disabled loo can be used

Great little spot. Arrived at 6:30pm, the gate said shuts at 5pm. Spoke to a couple of locals and they said it’s never locked. Toilets just a short walk into the actual country park car park. Few walkers in the morning and late evening but all very friendly. As said I was able to pay for parking and there are NO signs at all that say no overnight stays. Gorgeous location to sleep under the stars!
