(731 00) Camping Chania

Il n'y a pas d'aire de service pour les CC et le vidage des WC chimiques se fait en soulevant une petite trappe en fonte située sur le goudron. Les emplacements sont minuscules. Les sanitaires sont vieux et mal entretenus. Les chiens aboient régulièrement la nuit. Ce camping n'a donc vraiment rien d'extraordinaire. Il a seulement le mérite d'exister proche de la Canée à défaut de concurrence.

Camping parfait pour visiter la Canée. Mais difficile d’accès pour les camping cars du fait des oliviers avec des branches basses. Parfait pour les vans.

Achtung, der CP ist aktuell geschlossen. Wir waren am 6.11.25 dort.

Die Sanitäranlagen entsprechen dem griechischen Standard. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und auf Englisch unterwiesen. Mit unserem 7m Hymer war sowohl die Zufahrt, als auch das Finden eines Stellplatzes kein Problem!

We spent three nights here with our 'minicamper' for 22 euros a night for the two of us. Everything we needed was here - quiet spacious pitch, cooking area with gas bottles, washing up and laundry sinks, hot water in the showers. Either take a bus into Chania or, as we did, it's about half an hour to walk in by the sea

Der Campingplatz ist ideal, wenn man zum Baden eine schöne Sandbucht sucht und zum Wandern einen schattigen Kiefernwald und zum Abendessen eine nette Taverne. Ansonsten findet man hier nettes Personal und alles was man braucht im gut sortierten Minimarkt.

Camping Hania is a great spot for van travelers—spacious, level pitches with plenty of shade and easy access for all vehicle sizes. The facilities are clean and well-maintained, with reliable electricity, wi fi and water connections. It’s quiet, secure, and conveniently located near Chania and beautiful beaches, making it a perfect base for exploring western Crete by van.

Sehr freundlicher Besitzer. Der Platz war heute fast leer. Uns zeigte er zwei mögliche Plätze (7x2.32x3,20 m). Einer am Eingang umgeben von altem Mobiliar, der andere gross genug, aber durch herunterhängende Äste möglicherweise nur mit Kratzern zu erreichen. Wir haben abgelehnt, konnten aber Grau- und Schwarzwasser entsorgen. Eigentlich wollte er dafür nichts haben.

We had a small SUV with a roof top tent. Careful placement got a spot without damaging the surrounding olive trees. The sanitary facilities have been renovated and are great. Staff are friendly and helpful. We were here at the beginning of May. Pretty much had the place to ourselves, lots of birdsong, very peaceful. I imagine they jam them in during summer.

Wir waren vor vier Tagen mit dem Pkw hier um den Platz zu besichtigen und haben mit dem sehr freundlichen Besitzer gesprochen. Geöffnet nur noch bis Ende Oktober. Ich kann den Platz absolut nicht empfehlen und wenn dann maximal mit einem Kastenwagen . Stellplätze sind alle unter sehr niedrigen Olivenbäumen. Sanitär das schlechteste was ich auf einem Campingplatz bisher gesehen habe. Die Lage zum Strand wenige hundert Meter.

Leider der schlechteste CP auf unser Kretatour. Sehr alte und schmuddelige Sanitäranlagen. Da fehlen die Investition! Stellplätze unter den Olivenbäumen kaum zu befahren viel zu niedrig die Olivenzweige. Wir nutzen den Platz um mit dem Roller nach Chania zu fahren. Aber nach zwei Tagen Nix wie weg!

We kwamen aan op zaterdagavond en hadden het allerlaatste plekje. In het restaurant was live muziek, dit ging tot 01.00 uur door. De camping was in het hoogseizoen (en weekend) bezaaid met kleine tentjes, we waren de enige camper op dat moment. We werden hartelijk ontvangen. Onze camper van 6,5 meter lang en 3,3 meter hoog had wat moeite om op de plek te komen vanwege de vele olijfbomen (die de plek wel charme geven) en voelde een beetje groot ten opzichte van alle kleine tentjes. Dichtbij is een bushalte naar de leuke stad Chania. Het zwembad was prima voor onze kinderen, wij vonden het vrij druk. De sanitaire voorzieningen zijn wat verouderend (deuren kunnen niet allemaal op slot, kapotte douchekoppen, sta-wc’s of wc’s waar de bril vanaf is), maar prima voor 1 of 2 nachtjes.

We ended up accepting the parking lot space previously mentioned. I can’t recommend it. We were there on a Thursday with karaoke from the pool bar right next to the lot until midnight and cars and scooters leaving until almost 2 a clock. Don’t know if it’s a typical occurrence, but cut our stay short and left before the weekend. Very nice staff, though.

Haben mit 7,5m Länge leider keinen Platz gefunden. Durch die niedrigen Olivenbäume kann man nur schwierig rangieren und verkratzt somit das WOMO. Außerdem ist der Untergrund komplett roter feinstaubiger Sand. Besitzer freundlich und bot uns an auf den betonierten Parkplätzen für 20€ zu campieren. Wir lehnden dann dankbar ab.

Die letzten neun Kommentare, alle aus Januar 24, geben den Anschein, als wäre der Platz im Winter geöffnet. Dies ist nicht so, ich war heute dort und es ist alles geschlossen, Eingangstor mit Kette verschlossen, niemand auf dem Platz.

Excellent choice for average- cost vacations. We payed 64€ for 3 people for 2 nights. The campsite also provides electicity supply and washing machine which is very helpful for travellers

The site is very close to the city's center and also to a nice beach. Is clean, has a nice pool bar and restaurant. The staff is very polite.

Totally recommend it. The beach of Agioi Apostoloi is sandy and clean and it is very close. There are places around to go for walking and enjoy the sunset. We also had good time at the pool bar having coffee. The camping area is under the trees and we loved the natural shade. We wanted to stay 2 nights but we ended up staying 4 :)

First camping experience in Crete. The campsite has toilets establishments in various areas which is good because at that time there were many visitors. We also used the common kitchen. The campsite has many amenities and the staff recomended us some local restaurants around the city. The price was 28€ per day for 3 people.

Loved this place! I visited late October with my campsite. The area is very peaceful, probably due to low season. The city center is near and the transportation is convenient. We really liked the food at the restaurant

The campsite was well organised. There is a shadow under the olive trees and the beach is very close (5 min away walking). The toilets were well cleaned and the staff was helpful enough when we had an unfortunate situation to deal with. The price was average compared to other campsites in Greece. Overall a very good experience

guter Platz in der Nähe der Stadt. jetzt relativ leer, grosse Autos werden hier Schwierigkeiten bekommen >7meter?. Waschmaschine 5 Euro je Ladung, 24 Euro pro Nacht für ein Auto und 2 Personen plus 4 Euro Strom, wer es braucht...durch die vielen schönen Olivenbäume wird die Solaranlage ordentlich verschattet...

Friendly owners. facilities like washing machine really helped us. Good amount of other facilities. Nothing wrong with this place at all although we imagine very busy/close in season. We give it a 3* only in comparison to places in the height of natural beauty but felt this is a good example of a campsite that sits just outside a city. I wouldn’t rush back but it served our purposes well.

I paid 16 € for 1 person and a campervan (6.4 m) in September 2023. Chania can be visited by foot (1 h walk). The campground has a rather big pool with adjacent bar. There is no extra sink for chemical toilets and grey water disposal is not possible. Showers are o.k. but should be renovated.

Super netter Empfang und süße Stellplätze. Sanitär Anlagen sind völlig in Ordnung und werden zweimal am Tag gereinigt. Ich finds schade dass hier so viele Leute super schlecht bewerten weil sie vermutlich keinen 5sterne Campingplatz wie in Südtirol etc. haben. Dann bleibt bitte dort und kommt nicht her ✌️

Il est vrai qu’il y a beaucoup de monde, majoritairement des tentes mais l’ambiance est détendue. La piscine est agréable. Aucun problème d’accès pour un fourgon de 6m. Tarifs assez élevés mais l’accès à La Canée est facile par le bus 21 qui passe toutes les 20 minutes

Camping plus adapté aux tentes qu'aux CC, mais quelques emplacements disponibles et accessibles avec un peu d'habileté. Ombre, sanitaires, restaurant, boutique, machines a laver, plage à proximité immédiate et accueil très sympa. L'ensemble accuse un certain âge mais rien de gênant pour nous. Nous y avons passé deux excellentes nuits. Vieille ville à une heure de marche ou 10 euros de taxi.

Pour commencer il faut y accéder par une rue étroite en frottant les arbres avec un 7.50, maximum de 3 places accessibles au 7.50 de long et 3m de haut du fait des grosses branches sur les emplacements. Les sanitaires sont délabrés, sales et pas entretenus. La vidange WC bouchée et même avec le bâton prévu pour déboucher...impossible. 25 € avec la carte acsi..accueil sympa c'est tout

Camping carino senza fronzoli. Un po’ complesso da raggiungere se si ha camper oltre i 7 metri. Nel complesso per quel che è costato vale la sosta se di passaggio. Lo staff alla reception molto carino e cordiale.

€8 for a stand with only sleeping bag (I put my hamock). €20 for tents. good new showers!

We thought this was an ok site for the money we paid 20 euro. Nice swimming pool. We stayed 2 nights but unfortunately didn’t get much sleep as barking dogs and crowing cockerels kept us awake most of the night.

Pour fourgons et ccar jusqu'à 6.40 m maxi. Moi avec 6.80m, je frotte en haut et sur les côtés qu'elle que soit la manœuvre. 26 euros, électricité comprise. Pas trouvé de camper service. Inadapté au gabarit de mon ccar, mais escale technique obligatoire. Sanitaires pas engageants. Mais très ombragé, c'est le minimum avec tous ces arbres !!!

Bel camping con piscina ristorante e piccolo marchet , posti per il camper davvero stretti, camper oltre i 6 mt hanno un po di difficoltà a parcheggiare a causa degli alberi , però niente di impossibile ... taxi per raggiungere gere il centro 8/10,00

Paid 28 per night for 2 people, 1 camper, electricity in early June, so not very cheap considering what it offers. They made us park our 270 cm tall camper in a narrow place between olive trees that scratched the camper sides, only to tell us later they had bigger spots available. Upsetting

Small street to acces in camping. The owner don’t speak english. In octomber he want 28€ and I sayed that is very expensive. Finnaly 24€ for 2adults, 2 childs, electricity and 1 dog. The campsite was smaller for camper up to 7m. Many many olives. Plumbs old but clean. Staff friendly. Pool in october was dirty. Very good beaches are closest. Lidl was nearest. In low season we was only camper.

Difficile à trouver et accès pouvant être délicat. Peu de places accessibles à des camping-cars de 7 m. Installations sanitaires dans un état déplorable. Eau à peine tiède aux douches. Pas de possibilités de vidanges des eaux usées. Pas adapté aux camping-cars. Tarifs largement surévalués par rapport aux prestations offertes. Cependant, accueil sympathique et belle piscine.

Now €28 per night for 2 adults and MH. Very expensive for what is offered. The general appearance is a bit scruffy and the facilities are looking very tired and could use some TLC. Very tight for larger MH and the wifi is not camp wide, you have sit outside the reception to get a useful signal. That aside the staff are very friendly and the pool is great.

Camping avec une belle piscine, pas loin d'une belle plage. Très dur d'avoir un emplacement quand on a un grand camping-car, on a été obligé de prendre 2 emplacements avec l'accord du propriétaire, il a été sympa de nous faire payer que pour un seul emplacement. Les sanitaires sont à refaire tellement ils sont dégradés.

Manque évident de propreté dans les sanitaires. Très difficile à se garer avec le camping-car car beaucoup d'arbres. C'est le seul camping aux alentours. Ils en profitent pour faire payer le tarif de 25 € alors que les prestations ne sont pas aux rendes-vous. D'ailleurs, ils ont perdu l'agrément ACSI. Pour ceux qui ont un chien, une alarme, il vaut mieux aller sur les plages citées aux alentours
