(ST13 8UB) Leek - Roach Road

Stayed here for a night in mid July. Beautiful views. Not too many other people either. Great place to then wake up and set straight off to do the roaches walk. Felt safe as well and signal was good.

Stayed one night midweek, felt safe as a solo female with my dog. A few other vans overnight, very peaceful with next to no traffic passing. Great views and lovely walks direct from the spot. Decent signal on O2. People arriving from early morning, including school trip buses.

I arrived at 7pm, amazing location, very quite throughout the night, great views over looking tittesworth reservoir, plenty of walks with fantastic scenery. I will be back in the future

Great park up spot, stayed for one night. It was a very peaceful stay hardly any road traffic at night. Wonderful views.

Great parkup amazing walks and views, watching rock climbers a few campers spending the night now and then stopped here a few times on myself, No issues can get busy if the weather is nice and weekends.

Good spot. can now get very busy if weather fine. Remember pick up after you and even others.... let's keep the area open to campers.

Excellent place on very quiet road, very close to walking route for the Roaches (a must do walk!) not all parking is level but there are definitely enough spots that are you just might have to wait till hikers leave for spaces to open up. Would stay again!

Clean, peaceful and flat enough where we parked (small camber). Very busy in the day and we were boxed in for a bit! Turning space was perfectly positioned however recommend turning round so you’re facing the right way when parking at night so you don’t have to when it gets busy. We even saw a tractor rally on our morning walk! Will definitely be back

Great walks & views from this park up but windy as expected. Good signals but no facilities so leave area as u find it please

This was my first stop over in my little VW Caddy conversion! The Roaches is local to me. Parked at the top, and had a lovely nights sleep, one other van behind me! Great views, great spot and a lovely walk around the roaches when I woke up!

Superbe spot avec une vue extraordinaire. Beaucoup de randonneurs.

Great park up. Quiet road at night but very popular with climbers and walkers during the day. Lots of vans here tonight but plenty of room for all.

One of my favourite spots i have overnighted so far. Spent 3 nights here and had no trouble and nothing but beutiful walks, views & great social environment to meet other climbers and van people. 10/10 - great signal too

Excellent park up. Quite a few places on a slant, but several flats also if your patient. May have to wait for others to leave at its very popular for walkers and climbers. Great walk up to Roaches. Good EE signal and very peaceful night sleep.

Plenty of parking midweek in school summer holidays! Great walks and amazing view.

Stopped here last night . Got there around 7.45pm . 3 other vans here . View superb and the sunset . So quiet and peaceful only 2 cars past all night . Great for an early circular morning walk over the roaches . Definitely recommend

stopped here last night. turned up around 830pm, most the day walkers had gone home. plenty of room for flat parking. probably 5 other vans as well as me stopped the night. was very quiet and peaceful. think 1 car passed me during my stay. amazing early morning views. will be stopping again soon.

What a great pitch up, after a lovely walk around rudyard lake and Tittesworth we headed up the Roaches. Great views, friendly community of vanners up there. only down side is tight spaces but views alone make up for this.

Easy to park bays, stunning views, a terrific walk/climb/scramble around The Roaches. Suitable for all. Nearby Tearoom was an added bonus for breakfast.
