Fantastique camping du National Trust dans une zone boisée. De nombreux emplacements avec beaucoup d'espace pour vous donner l'impression d'avoir votre propre espace. Connexion ECU et services publics bien entretenus. Personnel super sympa. Restez au emplacement 131 pour une vue fantastique sur les chouettes chassant le soir. Dit 2 nuits seulement en ligne mais nous sommes arrivés et ils sont heureux d'accueillir 1 nuit.
Fantastic national trust campsite in a woodland area. Plenty of pitches with lots of room to make you feel like you have your own space. ECU hook up and well looked after utilities. Super friendly staff. Stay in pitch 131 for a fantastic view of owls hunting in the evening. Says 2 night only online but we turned up and they’re happy to accommodate 1 night.
Fantastischer Campingplatz des National Trust in einem Waldgebiet. Viele Stellplätze mit viel Platz, damit Sie das Gefühl haben, Ihren eigenen Raum zu haben. ECU-Anschluss und gut gepflegte Versorgungseinrichtungen. Super freundliches Personal. Bleiben Sie auf Stellplatz 131 und genießen Sie die fantastische Aussicht auf die Eulenjagd am Abend. Online heißt es nur 2 Nächte, aber wir kamen vorbei und man nimmt gerne 1 Nacht unter.

41 Pfund für 2 Personen mit Dachzelt, Stellplatz winzig und schief. Sanitär Anlagen veraltet und nur oberflächlich gereinigt. Lange schlafen ist nicht, weil ständig Militär Jets drüber ballern. Also ein nur Stern für Lage und Konzept.
schöne Lage am See, Sanitärhaus sauber, Duschen heiß, Parzellen cosy am Gebüsch, alles sauber, Betreiberin sehr hilfsbereit, und den letzten Platz für eine Nacht zu geben. Empfehlung!!
Emplacements au calme dans la nature, la forêt et au bord du lac; balades possible au bord du lac jusqu'à Wray Castle (château fermé pour l'instant pour restauration, mais terrain et café ouverts). Personnel accueillant, sanitaires incluant un sèche-cheveux, un lave-linge et 2 sèche-linge de grande capacité. Épicerie et pizzas sur place.
Prachtige camping. Rustig en omgeven door natuur. Fijne wandelmogelijkheden en je kan met de ferry naar Windemere en Ambleside (loop langs lake Windemere richting Wray Castle) of wandel naar Ambleside. Wij hadden wijds uitzicht over het veld.
A really good central location for Ambleside and around. I had pitch 200, next to a pond under trees. Very tranquil. I moved to pitch 180 as the views were better. Toilets and showers were clean with hot waters, although cold as the entrance doors are wide open. Good 4G signal.
Prachtige, rustige natuurcamping. Er was geen camperplek digitaal te reserveren, maar toch was er plaats op het tour gedeelte. Mooi uitzicht over de fells. €40 met stroom. Vlakbij Wrat castle, Grizedale Sculpture Parc en op fietsafstand pubs. Shop en goede pizza op sommige dagen.
It really is fantastic. A friendly caring welcome and great clean facilities. Thank you. We had a second stay one week later and the quality was just as excellent . The staff really go the extra distance to be helpful. We saw deer and pheasants in the field next to where we pitched.

Great location with relatively private pitches that are spread out and surrounded by nature. Campsite also has direct access to Windermere lake. Staff were incredibly helpful when we turned up having not booked and we only wanted to stay one night despite the 2 night minimum rule they allowed us. I’m glad we didn’t have to miss out on the fab site!
Ein sehr naturnaher Waldcampingplatz, sogar mit buchbaren Hütten oder Baumzelten, große Zeltwiesen aber auch Parzellen, echt für Jeden das Passende dabei. Nicht von dem „Totally Booked“ Schild irritieren lassen. Wir waren 3 Nächte da, das Schild hing an allen Tagen, der Platz war aber durchschnittlich zu Max. 70% belegt.
nice camping but we had to pay 38 pounds for one night (2 adults 1 dog small campervan) thats really expensive
A lovely site managed to get on without prior booking on Easter weekend electric hook up in our camper. Facilities were lovely, clean and warm.
Route étroite pour y arriver. Mais des emplacements magnifiques. Personnes de l’accueil adorables. Petite boutique. Possibilités de balades à pied en partant directement du site. Sanitaires propres. On a adoré.
