PixelDog24/09/2024Stunning view, great walks/trails, seemingly no restrictions on parking or anything like that. Absolutely recommend, only be wary of the narrow roads and steep incline leading up as others have mentioned.. Oh and.. BE CAREFUL OF THE MUD AND PUDDLES! Especially in a normal car you can easily get stuck if you're not careful.
eightpot28/07/2024Stayed on a Saturday night. The whole plot is on a slope so choose your spot carefully. A fair few cars coming and going with a bit of noise up until midnight. after that we had the place to ourselves. fantastic views on a good day into 5 counties and great for star gazing. There is a byway up to the Gibbet with a flat area so possible for smaller campers to be well away from the road.
